There isn’t a thing I wouldn’t do to ensure the safety and proper care of your little fur babies. Even the ones without fur have my heart! They will have my full time and affection when they are with me. No pet is outside my hearts love and I’ll love them like my own. My yard is fenced in and I have a run with a dog house as well as crates for inside in this Texas heat. However they live at home they can live here the same way while you’re gone. My connection to animals started early — since age 15, I’ve been taking in abused and abandoned dogs off the streets, rescuing dogs from slaughterhouses, and nursing a dog with a leg disability back to full health. I was also a member of a dog and cat rescue organization in Vietnam. That background means I’m comfortable with animals of all temperaments — anxious, energetic, shy, or recovering — and I know how to read body language and respond with patience. With fostering I have been around and taking care of different breeds of dogs, sizes of dogs and dogs with certain needs that needed to be addressed.
