About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with a deep passion for dogs and Cats. My connection to animals started early — since age 15, I’ve been taking in abused and abandoned dogs off the streets, rescuing dogs from slaughterhouses, and nursing a dog with a leg disability back to full health. I was also a member of a dog and cat rescue organization in Vietnam. That background means I’m comfortable with animals of all temperaments — anxious, energetic, shy, or recovering — and I know how to read body language and respond with patience. I treat every pet I care for like one of my own. About: I have taken care of animals as long as I can remember! With fostering I have been around and taking care of different breeds of dogs, sizes of dogs and dogs with certain needs that needed to be addressed. I have worked with fostering dogs for about a year now with an organization stationed out of Pennsylvania. Every dog I have rescued has been from a kill shelter with various medical needs, mental needs, and emotional needs. About: I was active in the rescue community for 12 years, and served as Executive Director for a local animal shelter for 4 years.
