Tori is wonderful and we are so glad we found her!! She is an excellent communicator, a lover of dogs, and handled our labs with love and care. Our 3.5 year old always jumped on her out of excitement and she handled him with no problems. She was gentle with our 14.5 year old girl. Tori went out of her way to help with our morning feeding and making sure the dogs had their treats. We will definitely book Tori again!!

About: I am a former teacher currently leaving the education field and pursuing other career options. Because of this transition, I am available full time and my schedule is pretty flexible. I have been a fur parent all my life. I have experience caring for senior dogs (I have cared for 3 of my own). I am patient and attentive to detail. I believe in giving 100% in everything I do, so I love to ensure your pet is getting the proper love and care they deserve. This is my full time job so I am pretty flexible. With the proper advance notices, I can do drop-ins and walks in mornings and afternoons. I can do boardings on weekends and weekdays after 3pm. My animals are on a routine feeding schedule. They have many potty breaks and have play time in our fenced backyard. My senior dogs get any medication they need while enjoying relaxing time in my home.

About: I’ve grown up with three German Shorthaired pointers! One of them is now 12 years old and needs a little more attention, but he’s still as healthy as can be and the sweetest pup ever! I work another part time job, however will devote all of my time outside of that to caring for any and every pet in my custody. I always feed my dogs on time and refill their water bowl after every use because those can get dirty fast! Lots of pets and plenty of attention for every dog in my care! Also super willing to stay outside with any dog for as long as they want to ensure they’re safe and sound as they roam and do their thing!

About: I have had dogs in my care my whole life; I love them, and to me, they are part of the family—important members. Sometimes I feel they need more care and love than it might seem; they get stressed and often develop bad habits because of it, so I focus on ensuring they aren't stressed during their walks. playtime (they need to burn off energy) and walk time (they need to explore and use their sense of smell), Make sure they are well-hydrated, since walks involve peeing, which results in water loss. I consider dogs to be another member of the family, so I understand the importance of their safety and follow your specific instructions (zero contact with other dogs, zero contact with children who might want to pet other people's pets—it's up to you).

About: Hi! I’m a loving and attentive pet parent to Hiccup, my 6-year-old dog, and Ollie, my 8-year-old cat. They both mean the world to me, and caring for them has taught me how important it is to pay attention to the little things that keep our pets happy, comfortable, and safe. Hiccup struggles with allergies, so I’m very comfortable administering medication and keeping a close eye on changes in his health or behavior. I’m also naturally observant and tend to notice when something seems out of place or when a pet is acting differently than usual. Ollie is incredibly cuddly, so I’m always happy to give pets plenty of love and attention! I’ll treat your pets with the same care, patience, and affection that I give my own. I know how much our pets mean to us, and I want you to feel confident that they’re in good hands while you’re away. I can wait to meet your precious pet! :) Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine, and I’m able to dedicate consistent time and attention to the pets in my care. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, and other pet-care needs throughout the week. I enjoy having pets as part of my daily routine and am committed to providing them with plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. I care for every pet according to their individual needs and their owner’s instructions. I make sure they have fresh water, meals on their normal schedule, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention and affection. I’m attentive to their behavior and comfort level and will give them time to adjust if they are shy or nervous. In a client’s home, I follow their routines and care instructions closely while also respecting their home and keeping everything clean and secure. My goal is for each pet to feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owner is away.

About: I have been taking care of animals since I can remember. No animal is too big or too small for me to take care of. I have a remote job where I am able to pick my hours so fitting in taking care of an animal will be easy for me. I take care of all my animals as if they were my children. How I take care of my clients animals is I believe the owner knows the animal best so if the owner says their animal prefers to be treated a certain way then I will treat them like so but if they do not have a preferred way then they will be treated like my own with respect and care.

About: My name is Aaren and I currently have been running a successful pet sitting business out of my home for 15 years now. I have rescued and cared for dogs my entire life. Animals are my passion and I take great pride in caring for other people's fur babies while they are away. I would love to be considered as an alternative to a kennel or boarding facility. I try and keep the exact same schedule you would at your own home/ when you are home, to lessen the amount of stress on your animal. I also go on daily walks 2-3x per day, play outside with them, and offer lots of cuddle time and hugs and kisses. I am a stay at home mother, so I am available all day to care for your pets. We recently have updated our backyard with an area of Astro turf to keep our pets happy, clean, and healthy. Please do not hesitate to contact me and we can discuss all of your pet sitting needs. I look forward to hearing from you! I am currently running this as my sole business, so I am available and free to take care of your pets as needed and as detailed as needed. I currently am only offering services in client's homes. I try to maintain their routine to decrease stress while the owners are away, for everyone involved!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
