We were able to meet them prior to boarding our dogs, which helped so with the communication over the stay. We were able to see them interact with them which put any uneasiness to rest. When it came time to pick them up, they were happy and healthy! What a great calm environment. We would not hesitate to board our "girls" there again. I have extensive experience fostering and previously worked at a small animal emergency and specialty hospital. I work from home! When I leave for any errands I can crate if needed or leave them out with my dog if they are used to that. I have a fenced back yard and the border of the 5.5 acres is all fully fenced. Growing up, we always had at least one dog, and several cats, that were usually rescues - either formally adopted by us, or informally adopted by them. And since leaving home, I have never been "pet-less" longer than a few months. About: I've been caring for dogs & cats for several years, in addition to always having my own dogs & cats (and betas, tropical fish, hamsters and birds!) I love animals and I enjoy making them comfortable when their people are away. I do pet care/drop-in visits, full-time, so I am available 7 days a week for multiple visits per day. I rarely take time off & keep my schedule as full as possible! My yard is fenced in. I have three dogs and one cat to keep your pet company, but I also have the option to segregate them in the house as needed. All animals are initially kept in one half of the house (with me), away from my dogs until they get acclimated. All meals are provided in separate, gated rooms to avoid any food squabbles. I maintain my "Cat & Dog First Aid" certification through the American Red Cross.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and grew up around large, high-energy breeds. Today I have two of my own, a German Shorthaired Pointer and a Hungarian Vizsla, so I’m very comfortable with active dogs that need plenty of exercise, attention, and structure. My home has a secure fenced yard where dogs can safely play and relax. If your dog enjoys being active and gets along well with others, they’re welcome to join us on our daily walks and trips to the park. If they prefer a slower pace, I’m just as happy to match their routine. Every dog is different, and I try to make them feel as comfortable as possible while they’re with me. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else, so I’ll care for them the same way I care for my own. I’ll follow your routine, give them plenty of attention, and keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how they’re doing. I work from home most days, and those are the days I’m available for boarding. Because I’m home throughout the day, your dog won’t be left alone for long periods and will get plenty of attention, bathroom breaks, and playtime. If they’re up for it, they’ll join my two dogs on walks and park visits. I’ll also follow your dog’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and at home while you’re away. Your dog’s safety and happiness will always come first. I have a secure, fully fenced yard and a clean, dog-friendly home where pets are treated like family. I have two friendly, well-socialized dogs who enjoy meeting new friends, but I’m also happy to keep dogs separated if that’s what makes everyone most comfortable. I’ll follow your feeding schedule, medication instructions, and any special requests to make sure your dog feels right at home. You’ll receive regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pup is safe, happy, and having a great time.
