Tori has been a God send for us! She was able to help us out over the Thanksgiving holiday, which was amazing. She is a great communicator, prompt, and she handled out two labs with love and care. She didn’t mind that our 3.5 year old has not learned to stop jumping up on people when he is excited. She was loving and went if her to help us, even with the morning feeding. We will call on Tori again!!

About: I have been working with animals for five years. I love caring for and supporting them, and I want them to feel comfortable and happy with me. I currently work only two days a week, so I’d be happy to look after dogs from morning till evening.I can walk the dogs and come to you to pick up the dog. I have a fenced yard and an air-conditioned garage, so the dogs have plenty of space.I always make sure the dog feels comfortable and can run freely around the house.

About: I have had dogs in my care my whole life; I love them, and to me, they are part of the family—important members. Sometimes I feel they need more care and love than it might seem; they get stressed and often develop bad habits because of it, so I focus on ensuring they aren't stressed during their walks. playtime (they need to burn off energy) and walk time (they need to explore and use their sense of smell), Make sure they are well-hydrated, since walks involve peeing, which results in water loss. I consider dogs to be another member of the family, so I understand the importance of their safety and follow your specific instructions (zero contact with other dogs, zero contact with children who might want to pet other people's pets—it's up to you).

About: Please scroll down to my “schedule” section. The farther in advance we plan, the more I can manage my schedule to fit your exact needs! I am a GM for a restaurant so, I am technically always on the clock nonstop 24/7. I have been pet sitting since I was in middle school, I’ve learned how to take care of even the shyest of pets, teaching the pet to be comfortable around me in caring, gentle way. I’ve worked with both cats and dogs equally! In Wyoming I was asked to watch over an African ridgeback, a black rag doll kitty, and two horses! One of my last clients had 3 birds along with her 3 much older pups…I’m willing to watch over almost any sweet pet that you may have! In middle school I watched over a timid calico cat, a hyper Chihuahua, and her puppies. I was the only pet sitter for all of those pets from the moment I met them when they were young and full of excitement all the way until they’re passing days. I have rescued a couple squirrels and raised them until they were ready to go to a sanctuary. Before I moved to Wy, I had been watching a family of dogs. A stubborn and playful Pomeranian who loved socks, an older and hefty English toy spaniel, and a very small traumatized long-haired Chihuahua. Even though the other two dogs had their own needs the Chihuahua took some extra care. He was rescued from an extremely abusive home. It took me about three pet sitting sessions for him to finally adapt to me and realized that I was there to take care of him, I worked very hard to not push my boundaries but took the extra time with him to build that trust, by the time we had our last visit he was a very happy, sweet and cuddly pup. He was a whole new dog compared to when I first met him, that was a side of him he only showed his owners and I just took the extra love to show him he could be that way around me as well! Last but not least! I have watched over a Brother / Sister duo of healer boxer mixes who were on a strict schedule that was required to keep them crate trained. I started watching them from the moment they were adopted as puppies until I moved up to Wyoming. Along with their companions of a sweet, playful grey tabby and a very vocal st. Bernard lab mix! SCHEDULE SECTION: I am currently working full time as a GM for a restaurant. I am technically always on the clock and always working for my restaurant. I am off Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays with the occasional need to fill in for an employee who R/Oed. Tuesdays I normally work 8am to 10pm nonstop no breaks but I can sometimes work a break in if planned in advance. Fridays are either 8-3 or 3-11pm Saturday are 12pm-11pm I can sometimes squeeze a 30min to hour break in though. Fridays and Saturdays can be as late as 12pm depending on how business is doing that night. There will be a price adjustment for full time care. Full time care would be considered if I am not allowed to leave the pet for more then 3 hours at a time. Full time care is 90 dollars a night. I rather be safe then sorry in any type of situation. Safety comes first for me in every way possible. I find even the smallest thing that might cause your pets harm I will alert you. Example: a bloody nose after fetch or a pup licking a stain on the garage floor when I turned around. I will immediately call to get your input.

I love being outdoors, so your dog will get plenty of outside fun, and exercise. I'm currently full time at home, so i will be available when needed, at all times if necessary. About: I have taken care of animals as long as I can remember! With fostering I have been around and taking care of different breeds of dogs, sizes of dogs and dogs with certain needs that needed to be addressed. I have worked with fostering dogs for about a year now with an organization stationed out of Pennsylvania. Every dog I have rescued has been from a kill shelter with various medical needs, mental needs, and emotional needs. I am comfortable around all dogs/cats and I am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animal! I would love to get to know your dog and continue to give them the best care while you’re away! I have one puppy of my own that I rescued. Her name is Rayne. She is a small dog her back does not even reach the bottom of my knee. She’s a very loving and playful. She does a great with meeting new dogs. She has been around every single dog. I have saved and fostered. I have a fenced yard and a small dog myself who loves to meet and play with dogs. I do have experience with taking care of different breeds of dogs. I can also create your dog if that’s what you would prefer. If not, my dog is super friendly and loves meeting new dogs.

About: I grew up around dogs so I know how to properly love and care for dogs and puppies and will treat them like they are my own. My puppy Coco is a full breed Maltese and lives at home with my parents. I've had him since I was 12 years old. I have experience dog sitting and dog walking for athletes at my school while they’re away for games and have been active on Rover since September 2023. Currently, I am an off season athlete and recent college graduate. Therefore, I am home most of the time and available to drop in and attend to your puppy’s needs. I genuinely enjoy dogs so I can be very flexible with my already open schedule. I usually work mornings in the beginning of the week and free on weekends! I am a very active person and enjoy going on walks and runs around my apartment. I have my own space with a fairly open living area where your dog can roam and play. I don’t mind puppies on the furniture.

About: Hi! I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have had pets in my life since I was a small child. Being around animals has always been a natural and joyful part of my daily life, and I truly enjoy spending time caring for them. I live in The Woodlands, which is a wonderful place for pets with so many beautiful walking trails and quiet neighborhoods. Whether your pet enjoys longer walks, relaxed strolls, playtime, or simply companionship, I’m happy to follow their routine and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. My goal is to provide a calm, caring environment where pets feel safe and loved. I’m attentive to each pet’s personality and needs and will always treat them like part of the family. I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! Your pet’s day will be centered around keeping their routine as comfortable and familiar as possible. I start with a morning walk or outdoor time to help them get some exercise and fresh air. Living in The Woodlands gives us access to beautiful walking trails and quiet neighborhoods that are perfect for safe, enjoyable walks. Throughout the day, I make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship. Some pets enjoy being active and playing, while others prefer relaxing and having someone nearby. I’m happy to adapt to each pet’s personality and energy level. I’ll also make sure feeding schedules, potty breaks, and any specific instructions are followed carefully. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you can see how your pet is doing. When caring for pets, my goal is to make them feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while their owners are away. I provide regular walks, playtime, feeding according to their normal schedule, and plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. I enjoy spending time outdoors, and living in The Woodlands gives us access to wonderful walking trails and quiet neighborhoods that are great for exercise and fresh air. If pets stay in my home, they will have a calm environment and access to my fenced backyard, which allows for safe outdoor time and play. I always follow each pet’s routine and any instructions provided so they feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible. I’m dependable and take the responsibility of caring for someone’s pet very seriously. About: I have four animals of my own including: Serenity- Doberman, Bowzer- 160lb Rottweiler, and 2 house cats- Jax and Gemini. I have been around animals my whole life. Friends, family and neighbors have always trusted me to care for their pets when needed. I am all too familiar with bathing, feeding, walking and picking up after fur-babies. I am thrilled to be able to help others out who need an extra hand. As a mom of 2 kids as well, I understand the importance of balance. ** IMPORTANT PLEASE READ!!** I am flexible, as I am a stay at home mom. My dogs are on a routine and the cats usually do as they please, so I can assist with you and your pets needs. I do want to explain, I have house sitting as a pet sitting option, however, I DO NOT STAY IN THE HOME. Instead, I offer up to 3 drop-in’s PER DAY NOT PER NIGHT and can stay a bit per drop in. I set this up for the extended visits to make it a more affordable DAY ONLY option in the OWNERS HOME, especially if there are additional animals. This option is not available and because of that I adjust the pricing at booking to include PER DAY NOT PER NIGHT! This option is for booking 4 days or longer ONLY. I like full transparency that way there is zero confusion. If you have ANY questions please don’t hesitate to reach out. This is option is NOT for over night or per night- APPLIES TO ME ONLY :) My first priority is the safety of your fur babies. I never let any pets out of my site including my own. I make sure on walks that your pet is leashed and while playing with pet toys that they are monitored and toys are put up as needed. If there is a specific way of feeding your pet or if medications need to be administered, please inform me so I can give the best care (any allergies?). My family have grown up knowing a pets love and there could be occasions where my son Aron (8 years old) would be with me when serving your babes (when school starts this won’t be as often), however, I understand not everyone, nor every animal is comfortable with kids, so by all means just communicate this with me and I will adjust accordingly to the best of my ability. Open communication is SUPER important that way I can guarantee a great experience for you and your pet.

About: Aside from growing up with two senior dogs, I have earned my stripes in the world of dog sitting by giving furry friends lots of love for the past four years. I’m young and active so I enjoy outdoor time with your friends and I could play for hours. Since I currently don’t own a canine friend myself, I get to share all of my joy with yours! I am a stay at home mom, so I reside at home pretty much 24/7 with my baby and my two cats. Over the weekends I like to keep busy and do something fun, sometimes I’ll even take the cars out with us. I live in a gated spacious apartment complex, with a dog park and walking trails. I keep doggy bags, toys, portable water bowls and extra leashes with me just to make sure your friend is always taken care of.

About: I enjoy working with all types of animals! I have had a variety of pets over the years (cats, dogs, birds) and am active, talking, and energetic with them. From domestic to strays, I care for any animal! No professional experience, but I have personally own(ed) 4 cats, 2 dogs, some aquatic friends, and a parakeet! I have worked at a Wolf Sanctuary where I fed, cleaned, and take cares of wolves. I work part-time and have just graduated from highschool, trying to get on my feet in the real world! But I love having the time to care for pets. I have a lot of availability in my day, from mornings to afternoons to overnights. I am not able to house your beautiful baby, because I have many animals of my own that get anxious with company. But going to your residence, I can comfort your sweet friend by bringing toys and treats (of your approval). I can bring blankets, sit in a small room with them if they are anxious. I can take them in a walk if they are feeling energetic and let them play their energy out! Lots of pets and lots of love- I am gentle as to not make your pet nervous especially for introduction. I pride myself on being their favourite pet sitter/walker!

  • 93% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
