About: I know what it's like to leave your pets at home when having to work long hours and/or travel on business. I want to share my love for animals and my desire to help others that have to leave their pets due to work requirements or are taking a much needed vacation. About: I have had dogs in my care my whole life; I love them, and to me, they are part of the family—important members. Sometimes I feel they need more care and love than it might seem; they get stressed and often develop bad habits because of it, so I focus on ensuring they aren't stressed during their walks. playtime (they need to burn off energy) and walk time (they need to explore and use their sense of smell), Make sure they are well-hydrated, since walks involve peeing, which results in water loss. I consider dogs to be another member of the family, so I understand the importance of their safety and follow your specific instructions (zero contact with other dogs, zero contact with children who might want to pet other people's pets—it's up to you).

With fostering I have been around and taking care of different breeds of dogs, sizes of dogs and dogs with certain needs that needed to be addressed. About: I enjoy working with all types of animals! I have had a variety of pets over the years (cats, dogs, birds) and am active, talking, and energetic with them. From domestic to strays, I care for any animal! No professional experience, but I have personally own(ed) 4 cats, 2 dogs, some aquatic friends, and a parakeet! About: My family has always had pets: cats, dogs, and a variety of others! I adopted my first dog, Monty, as an adult in 2016. He was my whole heart and soul, and I would not be the person I am without him. I adopted him off the euthanasia list at an estimated 9 yrs old with heartworms. I knew it would take some TLC to unlock his sweet goofy side. I learned very quickly (day 2!) that his unknown past left him with severe destructive separation anxiety and elopement tendencies (if he couldn't jump/climb over a fence, he went through it)! We tried medication, specialized training with a behaviorist, and crate training, but he could not be contained or soothed unless his momma was nearby. I found a reputable cage-free doggy daycare that accommodated his needs and kept him safe during the day. For the last 5 years, I have worked part time at that facility, learning and implementing rhe art of introducing dogs to each other, observing their behavior to determine temperament, handled reactive dogs, broken up the occasional fight, captured the occasional escapee, bathed them, dried them with a high velocity dryer, clipped their nails, coaxed them into eating with calm body language and words of affirmation, administered oral/topical/injected medication as prescribed - you name it, I've probably done it. If I haven't done it, I'm willing to learn! At your pace and, most importantly, at your pet's pace! Additionally, I've fostered and found homes for several dogs, whelped and weaned foster puppies, researched and participated in obedience training, reinforced skills as needed, among many other necessary tasks. Again, you name it and I'm willing to learn! As stated above, I work part-time at a daycare/boarding/grooming facility, typically 1pm-7pm on weekends and usually one or two weekdays. My personal pet (a feisty corgi named Bailey) is completely house-broken and well-socialized. I live in an apartment with a fenced off-leash dog park. I take my corgi to the fenced area for potty and play time. We also usually walk the complex twice per day. I love going to bigger public dog parks at cooler times of day. I typically feed on a schedule and can adjust if needed. My dog is toy possessive so she does not have unsupervised access to toys when other dogs are in my home. I typically separate dogs from each other when I leave and during feeding times for safety reasons. I do have a medium crate (corgi-sized), and I have space for a bigger crate if you'd like your dog to be crated (and don't mind me borrowing it for the duration of your pet's stay)!

About: I currently have a 3.5 year old Shiba Inu myself, and if you know anything about these breeds they are very stubborn doggos. So I’m very familiar with patience and consistency. Raising her has given me the experience with feeding, walks, playtime, and basic grooming. In addition to her I house sit for friends that had a bully, dachshund, and chihuahua all in the same household. I have also had another friends dog stay over for a month a biggo 10 month Doberman puppy. So I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs, and will always make it a priority to help them feel safe and comfortable. Pet care is already a part of my daily routine. I care for my 3-year-old Shiba Inu every day by making sure she's fed, has fresh water, gets plenty of attention, and stays on a consistent routine. I am a GM for a restaurant so, I am technically always on the clock nonstop 24/7. I have been pet sitting since I was in middle school, I’ve learned how to take care of even the shyest of pets, teaching the pet to be comfortable around me in caring, gentle way. I’ve worked with both cats and dogs equally! In Wyoming I was asked to watch over an African ridgeback, a black rag doll kitty, and two horses! One of my last clients had 3 birds along with her 3 much older pups…I’m willing to watch over almost any sweet pet that you may have! In middle school I watched over a timid calico cat, a hyper Chihuahua, and her puppies. I was the only pet sitter for all of those pets from the moment I met them when they were young and full of excitement all the way until they’re passing days. I have rescued a couple squirrels and raised them until they were ready to go to a sanctuary. Before I moved to Wy, I had been watching a family of dogs. A stubborn and playful Pomeranian who loved socks, an older and hefty English toy spaniel, and a very small traumatized long-haired Chihuahua. Even though the other two dogs had their own needs the Chihuahua took some extra care. He was rescued from an extremely abusive home. It took me about three pet sitting sessions for him to finally adapt to me and realized that I was there to take care of him, I worked very hard to not push my boundaries but took the extra time with him to build that trust, by the time we had our last visit he was a very happy, sweet and cuddly pup. He was a whole new dog compared to when I first met him, that was a side of him he only showed his owners and I just took the extra love to show him he could be that way around me as well! Last but not least! I have watched over a Brother / Sister duo of healer boxer mixes who were on a strict schedule that was required to keep them crate trained. I started watching them from the moment they were adopted as puppies until I moved up to Wyoming. Along with their companions of a sweet, playful grey tabby and a very vocal st. Bernard lab mix! SCHEDULE SECTION: I am currently working full time as a GM for a restaurant. I am technically always on the clock and always working for my restaurant. I am off Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays with the occasional need to fill in for an employee who R/Oed. Tuesdays I normally work 8am to 10pm nonstop no breaks but I can sometimes work a break in if planned in advance. Fridays are either 8-3 or 3-11pm Saturday are 12pm-11pm I can sometimes squeeze a 30min to hour break in though. Fridays and Saturdays can be as late as 12am depending on how business is doing that night. There will be a price adjustment for full time care. Full time care would be considered if I am not allowed to leave the pet for more then 3 hours at a time. Full time care is 90 dollars a night. I rather be safe then sorry in any type of situation. Safety comes first for me in every way possible. I find even the smallest thing that might cause your pets harm I will alert you. Example: a bloody nose after fetch or a pup licking a stain on the garage floor when I turned around. I will immediately call to get your input.
