“Jordan was great! I had to reach out to her very last minute late at night and she still was willing and available to help. She sent me updates daily without me even having to ask. Definitely recommend her!!”

“We had ANOTHER great experience with Mark and Claudia. This is the 2nd time we requested them if they can look after our puppy while we had travel plans and they immediately accepted our short notice request. Cookie looked so happy in the plenty of pics ans vidoes they shared throughout the boarding period. When we picked her up, she seemed to have had a GREAT time! The best part was that she had started to be picky with eating lately but after her stay at Claudia and Mark's, she has been happy with her meal times and approaches her food willingly! Mark and Claudia sure did some magic with their love! They shower so much affection on Cookie that they have become a part of Cookie's life. Very thankful to them and we 100% recommend them to anyone looking for boarding needs.”

“Thi was my first time booking with Michael. He allowed me to come in and see the accommodations. He took very good care of Riley-Luna. He sent updates and photos. I will definitely book stays with him in the future.”

“Jeri is the best. We have used her to dog sit on several occasions. They have so much fun at her house, I don’t think they miss us at all when we travel lol. Thank you, Jeri, for taking care of our dogs like they were your own!”

“If I could give 10/10 I would! She was hands down one of the best people to keep my dog! He is newly diagnosed with diabetes and we are still learning to control it. She had never given insulin shots before but was willing to learn. She successfully gave him his shots and due to a mistake on my end his blood sugar dropped. She was unable to contact me. She made wise decisions in bringing his blood sugar back up to safe numbers and continually checked it. I'm forever grateful for how well she cared for my senior dog and we will absolutely use her again.”

About: The first time dog sitting, I cared for a large Labrador and 4 cats! I’ve grown up around dog all my life but add 4 cats was a real jump in the deep end. However it was a great experience that taught me a lot about cat’s personalities and how cats and dog coexist and interact. During my time with them I loved them like my own and took millions of photos! I have classes in the morning on weekdays from 9-2:30, so I have a free afternoon and evening. However my weekends are wide open if you need a relaxing weekend! I’ll give your pet as much attention as they want! I love walking so if you select me for walking I’ll give your pet a nice workout, and if you select me for drop-in’s or house sitting you can travel stress free because I’ll treat your place with respect!
“Oliver and Amy were just what we asked for. They were AMAZING! They sent constant updates on our baby to show he was enjoying his visit. They are really good people. We definitely will book again for our next trip.”

“This was our first time using Carmen, and we had a great overall experience. We had a meet and greet that confirmed Carmen and her home were a good match. We really enjoyed the daily updates and photos! We will definitely consider booking with Carmen again in the future.”

“Amanda was amazing from start to finish. Sent me updates everyday with pictures and videos. Was so sweet when my flight home got delayed and even waited up so I could pick my dog up. Will definitely be using her again next trip”

“Dog Mom Approve!!! Courtney and her family had truly embraced Tux as part of the family. I do know that Tux misses them already. Pics received of Tux surrounded with love and smiling, made me enjoy my trip with ease. Thank you, Courtney and family. We will see you soon.”

“Bea did a wonderful job with our dogs. She had already read our care instructions when we arrived, which really put us at ease. She provided several updates over the course of their stay. And had everything packed and ready to go. Both dogs are healthy and happy - they clearly had a great time. We couldn't ask for more.”

“Girlesa and her family were amazing to my pup. I’m so grateful for the care and attention they gave him. Sent lots of pictures and videos daily. Highly recommend if you want your pup to be in good hands!”

“Chris and family were super accommodating and caring. They took good care of our cat Nebi and sent pictures as requested. Our travel was delayed and Chris was flexible to care for our Nebi for a few more days on late notice. Thanks Chris!”

“Breanna was able to help me with my puppy last minute!! It was also amazing that she lived on the same street as me! I enjoyed getting the updates and hearing how much she was enjoying my pup and how well my pup was adjusting and enjoying her family. I will be a repeat customer for sure... I am so pleased by the love that was shown to my Duchess ❤️ Thank you Breanna”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Tomball
Unsure of how my newly adopted senior YorkiePoo would handle being boarded; Susan and Dale were patient letting him warm up. Within 24 hours he was zooming around and by night three he was hopping in their bed. *Susan shared the sweetest pictures. Cannot say enough about the exceptional care King Archie received. Zoey was sweet to Archie giving him space to relax and feel safe.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
