“Delys is amazing! Our dogs had a great time and you could tell how comfortable they felt in every photo shared! I really appreciate all the photos, updates, and videos that were sent. I’m so glad to have my pups home, but I know they had the best time and were loved on in our absence! Would definitely book again!”
“Zoë has such a great time with David. We get updates and can see how happy she is while on her vacation. We are so glad to how found a fun safe place for our sweet girl while we’re away.”

“Kohl stayed with Girlesa for two weeks, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They were incredibly responsive and communicative, and I received pictures and videos almost daily, which made being away so much easier. It was clear Kohl was well cared for, comfortable, and genuinely loved while he was there. I picked up a happy, relaxed dog - always the best sign. I’m very grateful and would absolutely book with them again.”

“Mark and Claudia took excellent care of Jovita. They were great and would send pictures and videos of her having a great time with their dog. They are totally dog people”

“Amanda took great care of my girl Bailey! Bailey is a little shy in a new environment, but Amanda was patient and kind as she waited for her to adjust (I got plenty of updates and pictures). When I picked Bailey up a few days later, she was clearly very happy and comfortable and loved her new sitter. Will definitely be contacting Amanda again the next time we're out of town!”

“My hubby and I wanted to do a date night and didn't want to leave Mocha by herself for too long. We decided to have Maticka keep her overnight. She must've had fun, because she acted like she didn't want to leave! Thanks Maticka for the puppy hospitality!”

“Amy is the best! We had to take a few days trip, and it was so reassuring that Murphy boarded with her. She sent daily updates and plenty of pictures. He was happy, comfortable, and very well taken cared of. Thank you Amy, for watching Murphy!!”

“Courtney sent us lots of photos and updates of our pup when we were away on a vacation. She has a great yard area outside, and I know my girl had lots of fun when she stayed with Courtney!”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with a deep passion for dogs and Cats. My connection to animals started early — since age 15, I’ve been taking in abused and abandoned dogs off the streets, rescuing dogs from slaughterhouses, and nursing a dog with a leg disability back to full health. I was also a member of a dog and cat rescue organization in Vietnam. That background means I’m comfortable with animals of all temperaments — anxious, energetic, shy, or recovering — and I know how to read body language and respond with patience. I treat every pet I care for like one of my own. When your pet is in my hands, you can count on reliable updates, photos, and clear communication so you always know they’re safe, happy, and well cared for. Whether it’s a walk, a feeding, or an overnight stay, I’ll stick to your routine and give your companion the attention and affection they deserve. I’d be honored to look after your furry family member. I recently moved to the US from Vietnam and just started sitting on Rover. I study English on my own so I free most day of the week, and I will try to match your schedule. I live in an apartment and we have play ground on facilities. My apartment are 5 mins away from Meyer Park and I don’t mind to take our furry friends for a walk out there.
“Bea was very responsive in setting up boarding and gave updates while I was away- all the toys were packed and dogs ready to go on pick up! Both seemed happy and comfortable.”

“Breanna was able to help me with my puppy last minute!! It was also amazing that she lived on the same street as me! I enjoyed getting the updates and hearing how much she was enjoying my pup and how well my pup was adjusting and enjoying her family. I will be a repeat customer for sure... I am so pleased by the love that was shown to my Duchess ❤️ Thank you Breanna”
About: The first time dog sitting, I cared for a large Labrador and 4 cats! I’ve grown up around dog all my life but add 4 cats was a real jump in the deep end. However it was a great experience that taught me a lot about cat’s personalities and how cats and dog coexist and interact. During my time with them I loved them like my own and took millions of photos! I have classes in the morning on weekdays from 9-2:30, so I have a free afternoon and evening. However my weekends are wide open if you need a relaxing weekend! I’ll give your pet as much attention as they want! I love walking so if you select me for walking I’ll give your pet a nice workout, and if you select me for drop-in’s or house sitting you can travel stress free because I’ll treat your place with respect!

“This was our first time using Carmen, and we had a great overall experience. We had a meet and greet that confirmed Carmen and her home were a good match. We really enjoyed the daily updates and photos! We will definitely consider booking with Carmen again in the future.”

“Was really glad to leave Tugger (dog) with her. Tug seemed to enjoy having kids and another dog around to play with. Jennifer sent updates and pictures while I was out of town visiting family. Which helped ease my anxiety with boarding him somewhere for the first time. Overall was a pretty good experience.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Tomball
Unsure of how my newly adopted senior YorkiePoo would handle being boarded; Susan and Dale were patient letting him warm up. Within 24 hours he was zooming around and by night three he was hopping in their bed. *Susan shared the sweetest pictures. Cannot say enough about the exceptional care King Archie received. Zoey was sweet to Archie giving him space to relax and feel safe.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
