“My kitties just had another awesome time being cared for by Naiyla! I was gone for about 4 days, and came home to some very happy kitties! House was super well kept too. Shes the best!!”

“Jamey took care of our beloved puppy while we were gone for a long weekend. She was prompt, and VERY communicative - she messaged us every time she arrived and left, and sent pictures almost every time along with an update. She followed our instructions to a "T" and did a great job. Would highly recommend.”

“"I cannot recommend Emma enough! This was my first time ever hiring a pet sitter for our new cats, and she was incredibly patient and responsive throughout the entire process. She even met us in person beforehand to get introduced to the cats and learn their feeding routine. She provided tons of regular updates and photos, which gave us complete peace of mind. Most amazing of all, our most skittish cat—whom we nickname 'Shiver Pants'—didn't hide at all and was so brave around her! That alone speaks volumes about her gentle care. We have already put in a booking request with her again and will continue to do so!”

“Kristen and Jeff took amazing care of our furbaby during a week-long trip away. They went above and beyond to ensure Schutz was happy and well-cared for. We received frequent updates with heartwarming pictures of him. It was evident that he was in the hands of dog lovers who treated him as if he were their own. We were able to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing that Schutz was in great, loving hands. I can't recommend Kristen and Jeff enough. If you want your pet to receive top-notch care, love, and attention while you're away, look no further. They are a great example of the kind of exceptional service. Kristen and Jeff, thank you for making our trip worry-free and for being such wonderful caregivers to Schutz. You're the best!”

“Thank you so much for taking such good care of our babies over the holiday! I appreciate you taking good care of them and the house. Even cleaning up after them. You have made it so much more pleasant for me and my family with having to be away from them.”

“Meg was fantastic with our dogs! She was very mindful of checking on them and seeing how hot it was outside to make they were getting overheated. Also got so many good pictures on my pets from her visits, will definitely be booking with her the next time I need a pet sitter.”

“Guadalupe was great to work with, and did such an amazing job dropping by to take care of Axel while we were at work. She was always on time, and we would absolutely recommend her to take care of your furry family member!”

“We love Cayla and so do our pups. She is great with any dog especially the big slobbering ones and the little noisy ones. I’d recommend her to anyone who needs loving pet care.”

“Kayia was so kind and comforting to my dogs while I was away. The dogs warmed up to her immediately and I felt at ease knowing they were being well taken care of. I am so thankful for her!”

About: As a dedicated animal lover, I bring real pet-owner experience to every visit. I currently have a dog and have previously cared for cats and bunnies, so I'm comfortable with pets of all kinds. “We always feel confident leaving Dobby with Krystal. She messages us and sends pics every day and is patient with Dobby's health issues. The house is always spotless when we get home, which is great because cats can be naughty and get into things. Thank you Krystal for everything you do and I highly recommend your services.”

“First time using Rover, Chee did an a wonderful job looking out for my cat, sending pictures and being there on time all the time! Thank you Chee for taking such a great care of Kimchi!”

About: I currently have a 3.5 year old Shiba Inu myself, and if you know anything about these breeds they are very stubborn doggos. So I’m very familiar with patience and consistency. Raising her has given me the experience with feeding, walks, playtime, and basic grooming. In addition to her I house sit for friends that had a bully, dachshund, and chihuahua all in the same household. I have also had another friends dog stay over for a month a biggo 10 month Doberman puppy. So I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs, and will always make it a priority to help them feel safe and comfortable. Pet care is already a part of my daily routine. I care for my 3-year-old Shiba Inu every day by making sure she's fed, has fresh water, gets plenty of attention, and stays on a consistent routine. Since I currently have a flexible schedule, I'm able to spend quality time with pets and adapt to their individual needs. I understand that every dog is different, and I'm committed to making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. When caring for pets in my own home or a client's home, I always focus on keeping them comfortable and maintaining their normal routine. I make sure they have fresh food and water, provide plenty of attention and playtime, clean up after them, and monitor them to ensure they're happy and safe. I also follow any specific instructions from the owner, such as feeding schedules, medications, or other care preferences. I understand that every pet is different, and I do my best to give them the same level of care and attention I'd want for my own dog.
“I wish I could give Gina more than 5 stars. She is exactly, if not more, who you want with your babies when you can't be with them. She was also excellent with our home concerns, like the alarm and packages.”

I have a fenced yard and an air-conditioned garage, so the dogs have plenty of space.I always make sure the dog feels comfortable and can run freely around the house.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
