“Terra was very helpful and responsive during the entire process. I appreciate she was able to take on my last minute request and was flexible regarding the drop in times. My kitties were well cared for, I would definitely recommend her.”

“Emma is absolutely fantastic! She is so warm and friendly, my two kitties fell in love with her right away! She is super communicative and I loved all the pictures she sent of our girls! I will definitely be rebooking with her, highly recommend Emma!”

“Kristen and Jeff are a very considerate, pet loving couple and we just love them. They take very good care of our two dogs, send us their report along with pictures of the pups each time they come over to our house. We happily and highly recommend Kristen and Jeff to take care of your pet(s).”
“Jamey took care of our beloved puppy while we were gone for a long weekend. She was prompt, and VERY communicative - she messaged us every time she arrived and left, and sent pictures almost every time along with an update. She followed our instructions to a "T" and did a great job. Would highly recommend.”

“We love Cayla and so do our pups. She is great with any dog especially the big slobbering ones and the little noisy ones. I’d recommend her to anyone who needs loving pet care.”

“Meg was fantastic with our dogs! She was very mindful of checking on them and seeing how hot it was outside to make they were getting overheated. Also got so many good pictures on my pets from her visits, will definitely be booking with her the next time I need a pet sitter.”

“Thank you so much for taking such good care of our babies over the holiday! I appreciate you taking good care of them and the house. Even cleaning up after them. You have made it so much more pleasant for me and my family with having to be away from them.”

“Natalie is THE BEST! We needed to find a new pet sitter after working with a friend for 15 years. We are very particular and Natalie was perfect! Our puppy loved her and so do we! Sweet, loving and extremely dependable! You could not ask for a better sitter for your furry loved ones! Thank you, Natalie! You made our vacation even better!”

About: I’ve loved, raised, trained, and cared for animals in and out of the home all my life. With me, you have personalized care tailored to every stage of your dog’s life—from playful puppies needing gentle guidance and consistency to senior dogs requiring patience, comfort, and special attention. I treat every pet like family, with a focus on safety, trust, and genuine love. I currently have no other obligations and can tend to your pets’ every need. Whether it’s an intentional walk, a run in the park, fetch or tug of war, or snuggles on the couch for some much needed TLC, I’m available! I am not currently accepting boarding or pet care in my home; gladly, I will come service anything your pet may need in their home environment.
About: As a dedicated animal lover, I bring real pet-owner experience to every visit. I currently have a dog and have previously cared for cats and bunnies, so I'm comfortable with pets of all kinds. I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your furry family members, and I strive to make every pet feel loved, safe, and cared for."🐾💕 I am available early mornings for feedings, exercise, and check ins, as well as midday visits and walks, making sure your pet is comfortable and loved through the day. My fur baby is created when unattended and has a doggy park to run around unleashed in the apartment complex. Always leashed walks around the neighborhood, complex, and parks.
“Krystal continues to be a wonderful sitter for our cat. She alerted me to a skin condition he has that I had not seen and sent me very cute pictures of him. These were wonderful to get on our trip. I highly recommend Krystal.”

“I was honestly pretty skeptical about using Rover for the first time. Trusting someone you've never met with your pet is a big leap, and I was nervous from the moment I booked. But from our very first interaction, my sitter completely put my mind at ease. They were professional, kind, and communicative. I received regular updates, photos( amazing photos) and messages that reassured me my pets were being well cared for. It made such a difference knowing I didn't have to worry while I was away. When I came home, my pups were relaxed and happy. It honestly felt like they had been cared for by a trusted friend rather than someone I had just met. thank you for doing an amazing job !!!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have cared for dogs, cats, and other pets for family, friends, and neighbors over the years. As a pet owner myself, I understand that every animal has their own personality, routine, and needs. I’m patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, whether that means long walks, playtime, cuddles, feeding, administering simple medications, or simply keeping them company while you’re away. I know how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pets, and I will care for them as if they were my own. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while giving you complete peace of mind. I’m currently offering a flexible schedule and can provide drop-in visits, dog walks, and house sitting throughout the week and on weekends. I understand how important routines are for pets, and I’ll do my best to accommodate your schedule while making sure your pets receive the attention, exercise, love, and care they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, playtime, and any special routines. I believe pets feel most secure when their routine stays consistent, and I’ll treat both your home and your furry family members with the same respect and care I give my own. I’ll also provide regular photo and text updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.
About: My family has always had pets: cats, dogs, and a variety of others! I adopted my first dog, Monty, as an adult in 2016. He was my whole heart and soul, and I would not be the person I am without him. I adopted him off the euthanasia list at an estimated 9 yrs old with heartworms. I knew it would take some TLC to unlock his sweet goofy side. I learned very quickly (day 2!) that his unknown past left him with severe destructive separation anxiety and elopement tendencies (if he couldn't jump/climb over a fence, he went through it)! We tried medication, specialized training with a behaviorist, and crate training, but he could not be contained or soothed unless his momma was nearby. I found a reputable cage-free doggy daycare that accommodated his needs and kept him safe during the day. For the last 5 years, I have worked part time at that facility, learning and implementing rhe art of introducing dogs to each other, observing their behavior to determine temperament, handled reactive dogs, broken up the occasional fight, captured the occasional escapee, bathed them, dried them with a high velocity dryer, clipped their nails, coaxed them into eating with calm body language and words of affirmation, administered oral/topical/injected medication as prescribed - you name it, I've probably done it. If I haven't done it, I'm willing to learn! At your pace and, most importantly, at your pet's pace! Additionally, I've fostered and found homes for several dogs, whelped and weaned foster puppies, researched and participated in obedience training, reinforced skills as needed, among many other necessary tasks. Again, you name it and I'm willing to learn! As stated above, I work part-time at a daycare/boarding/grooming facility, typically 1pm-7pm on weekends and usually one or two weekdays. My personal pet (a feisty corgi named Bailey) is completely house-broken and well-socialized. I live in an apartment with a fenced off-leash dog park. I take my corgi to the fenced area for potty and play time. We also usually walk the complex twice per day. I love going to bigger public dog parks at cooler times of day. I typically feed on a schedule and can adjust if needed. My dog is toy possessive so she does not have unsupervised access to toys when other dogs are in my home. I typically separate dogs from each other when I leave and during feeding times for safety reasons. I do have a medium crate (corgi-sized), and I have space for a bigger crate if you'd like your dog to be crated (and don't mind me borrowing it for the duration of your pet's stay)!

“Kayia was so kind and comforting to my dogs while I was away. The dogs warmed up to her immediately and I felt at ease knowing they were being well taken care of. I am so thankful for her!”

“Christina took such good care of our cats while we were out of town for Christmas. She was very good at communicating with us and sent lots of pictures every day. She was really sweet to our cats. I highly recommend her!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Tomball. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
