“First time to meet my pups and she was great!!! One of my fur babies is a little intimidating when he doesn't know you and she was not nervous but was patient with him and won him over. Did very well with them. You can tell she loves animals. I am looking forward to going on vacations now without the worry of who is brave enough to watch my monster lol.”

“As always, Krystal is wonderful. We really enjoyed getting the pics of our cat daily and she updated us on health issues as well. We came home to a clean, calm home and couldn't be happier with this service.”

“Shelly was amazing. My cats are very picky on who they warm up to, but they seemed very comfortable with Shelly. They were both healthy, happy, and safe. I would 100% recommend her and would use her to watch my pets again in the future.”

“We were very pleased with Amy’s reliability & attention to detail while dropping in on our 2 kitties. She went above and beyond for us by also helping a neighbor with a lost kitty, retrieving an unexpected package & cleaning up after the kitties as if they were her own. Sent us many pictures along the way that made us feel confident that our pets were in the very best hands. We will be re-booking with Amy in the very near future. Thanks again, Amy! 😊”

“Jada was a wonder to work with! She was very prompt and polite with communication, and she followed all of our pet’s instructions. She provided numerous updates and we felt very assured that our pets were being taken care of. We would happily work with Jada again.”

“Jennifer is a dedicated a responsive sitter who has been taking care of my girls during the day while I’m starting a new job. She always goes above and beyond my expectations and my girls love her like family. It really sets my mind at ease knowing Jennifer will check on them every day while I’m gone.”

“Jadyn did an amazing job checking on our pups! She communicated very well, and made sure our dogs were well taken care of! This was our first time using Rover and she made this a very pleasant experience!”

“Jamey took care of our beloved puppy while we were gone for a long weekend. She was prompt, and VERY communicative - she messaged us every time she arrived and left, and sent pictures almost every time along with an update. She followed our instructions to a "T" and did a great job. Would highly recommend.”

“First time using Rover since my husband and I were looking for someone who could take care of our cats while we were on a trip. Natalie answered right away about the request and was being so sweet about it. She helped us feel at ease while being away, and our cats opened up to her only after a few days (it even looked like they like her more than me lol). Natalie kept us updated everyday which I appreciated. I’d definitely recommend her and reach out to her if we ever need her services again! 🫶🏼”

“We were apprehensive about having a stranger in our home when we weren’t home. But we needed an extra option for pet care when we go away. My neighbor suggested Rover. Lauren was our first choice and we couldn’t be happier. We love that she lives close by and has a few dogs herself. She knew what my dog needed. Even when our Rizzo had some anxiety. Lauren instinctively gave the care and love our dog needed. We are grateful for this experience with Lauren and she is officially our new dog sitter.”

“My kitties just had another awesome time being cared for by Naiyla! I was gone for about 4 days, and came home to some very happy kitties! House was super well kept too. Shes the best!!”

“Alissa was very good with our Rex. This was our first time leaving our baby and she was very accommodating to our concerns. She could immediately tell our sweet boy was sad we left him and she went out of her way to make sure our boy was happy, comfortable and loved! We will definitely be using Alissa again!”

“It was my first time leaving Mickey with someone other than family and Joseph called us immediately to cone meet Mickey. He explained how everything worked and sent us pictures Daily. It was a great experience.”

About: I grew up always having a dog, or three, in the house. This means I have many years experience of getting along with, and taking care of various small to medium breeds. Feeding, playing, petting, walking, and cleaning up after them. I have also sat for friends who went out of town, caring for dogs as well as cats. I just moved back into town and, aside from helping my parents with their two dogs, my summer schedule is wide open. I would love to fill the time by meeting you and caring for your precious pet(s)! I am quiet-natured and good at building trust with new furry friends. I am intentional and thorough when it comes to pet care as well as maintaining the home environment. I also love to send pictures to keep your mind at ease while your pets are in my care.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Stagecoach
Amy watched our two ragdolls for a week when we were on vacation. Our two cats have very different personalities and one is very shy and hides under the bed around people she doesn't know. Amy really went above and beyond with the shy kitty. Amy fed them, played with them, groomed them, cleaned the cat litter, swept, and cleaned the area. She also kept in contact with daily updates and lots of pictures, which we really appreciated!

I would highly recommend Molly to anyone looking for reliable and caring help. She did drop-in visits for my cats while I was away, and from the start, she was incredibly professional and communicative. What I appreciated most was how she kept me consistently updated. She always let me know ahead of time when she would be arriving, which gave me great peace of mind. During each visit, she sent photos, and it was so reassuring to see them well cared for, and comfortable in her presence.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Stagecoach. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
