About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats for over 3 years and genuinely love being around animals. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and care for their pets while they’re away. I’m patient, dependable, and comfortable with pets of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I always make sure pets feel safe, loved, and cared for like they’re my own. I’m currently in college working toward my teaching degree, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, house sitting, and overnight care on most weekdays and weekends. I’m reliable, communicative, and happy to work with your pet’s normal routine to keep them comfortable and happy. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I pay close attention to routines, feeding instructions, medications, and any special needs to make sure pets feel secure and stress-free. I’m very patient and gentle with animals and will always keep you updated with messages and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.

“Shelly was amazing. My cats are very picky on who they warm up to, but they seemed very comfortable with Shelly. They were both healthy, happy, and safe. I would 100% recommend her and would use her to watch my pets again in the future.”

“Riley was perfect with Juju!!! I will definitely continue to book with her! I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for my cat while I was away for a week. I appreciate how much attention and love she gave him. They listened to music, played a lot, and she was very mindful of his body language. She truly has a gift!!! I loved her updates, photos, and videos. I can tell my sweet boy loved her too! And she did such a great job with making sure everything was good and secure with the house. I highly recommend booking with Riley!!!”

“Myrna was great with my pups! She was super sweet and gave them lots of love during each drop-in visit. I really appreciated the daily photo updates—she was thoughtful and kept me in the loop the whole time. Would definitely recommend her and book again!”

“I was honestly pretty skeptical about using Rover for the first time. Trusting someone you've never met with your pet is a big leap, and I was nervous from the moment I booked. But from our very first interaction, my sitter completely put my mind at ease. They were professional, kind, and communicative. I received regular updates, photos( amazing photos) and messages that reassured me my pets were being well cared for. It made such a difference knowing I didn't have to worry while I was away. When I came home, my pups were relaxed and happy. It honestly felt like they had been cared for by a trusted friend rather than someone I had just met. thank you for doing an amazing job !!!”

“Jadyn was great with Roxie and Daisy. She arrived a few minutes early (to me; on time is late) and had time for a quick chat before my husband and I needed to leave. We came home to calm pets. They hardly knew we left.”

“We had an amazing experience with Jada -again! She took such great care of our dogs and cat while we were away for a week. Her daily updates were detailed and thoughtful, always including several pictures that gave us peace of mind. She truly goes above and beyond—even bringing in our packages without being asked. We couldn’t have asked for a more caring and reliable sitter!”

“Lauren was super sweet with my babies . We arranged a meet in greet prior so they could get a feel for each other . She kept me updated the whole time and sent lots of pictures . Will rebook for sure !!!”
About: Dogs have been the light and joy of my life since I was born, but when I was 10 I finally got a dog to call my own! After our family dog had puppies and refused to nurse, I spent countless days and nights bottle feeding her litter until I proved to my parents I could keep one for myself. After that, I potty trained, socialized, played with, and took that puppy on walks all by myself. Since then she’s unfortunately passed over the rainbow bridge, but friends and family constantly entrust the care of their dogs to me while they’re away! I’ve spent a lot of time with all breeds of dogs, ranging from puppies to senior dogs with dementia, and I love them and care for them all like they’re my own. I’m currently a paraprofessional for the SPED department of an elementary school, so I’ll be at work from 8am-4:30pm Mon-Fri! I’ll be completely available on the weekends and during any breaks, and will be available in the late afternoon/evenings for any drop-ins or walks you may need! When it comes to caring for your babies in their own homes, I know there are two different levels of trust that need to be earned: trusting someone with your pets and trusting someone in your home. I take both responsibilities very seriously. I am more than willing and capable of adhering to any rules, routines, or special instructions you may have, and I will do my best to keep your pets on the schedule they know and love. Whether that means feeding times, medication administration, walks, playtime, litter box cleaning, or simply providing companionship, I am committed to making their time without you as comfortable and stress-free as possible. I have my own reliable transportation and can arrive on time for scheduled visits, check-ins, or overnight stays. I will also keep you updated with messages, photos, and videos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. Above all, I treat every animal as if they were my own, ensuring they are safe, loved, and well cared for in the environment where they feel most secure—their home. My goal is for you to return to happy pets, a well-maintained home, and complete confidence in the care they received.
About: I have been taking care of pets for family members and friends for over 5 years now. It started when a friend had an emergency out of town and needed help. It was a pleasure to sit in and feed, play, and send goofy pictures of my friend’s dog to provide ease and comfort during a hard time. I work full time and that means my cats are fed on a routine. They require a special diet that requires portioned meals and time to play. I have an active pet cam that I am able to use to talk to them when I am not home to provide comfort and time dispensers for treats. I will abide by your routine and follow directive on when to feed, when to walk, and when to provide or administer medication. Only you know your companion best and in order to provide safety and structure, as your care-taker it would be a privilege to honor your schedule and routine.
“Alissa was very good with our Rex. This was our first time leaving our baby and she was very accommodating to our concerns. She could immediately tell our sweet boy was sad we left him and she went out of her way to make sure our boy was happy, comfortable and loved! We will definitely be using Alissa again!”

I appreciate your consideration. I know finding the right person for your fur baby is not an easy task, but I would love to help ease your worry and give your dog or cat an unforgettable play date!! Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Magnolia
First experience using Rover and Jadyn made it so wonderful! We had a mishap with our door lock and she was able to find a solution that was even better than ours. Loved the daily pictures and knowing that our two babies were well looked after while we were so far from home. Thank you again Jadyn!!

Jasmin was amazing! She took care of both our cats while we were gone for the weekend. She always sent pictures and was prompt with her check ins! She even cleaned the litter boxes when she didn’t have too. We appreciate her very much and will be using her again in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Magnolia. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
