Hi, my name is Shelly. As far as I can remember I have always LOVED animals of all kinds. Well maybe not roaches, but all others. I've had iguanas, turtles, bearded dragons, chameleons, koi, fresh water aquarium fish, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, bunnies and birds. At the moment I have a Panther Chameleon, Bearded Dragon, Redfoot Tortoises, Gold Macaw named "J.J." (yes, after Mr. Watt from the Texans), 6 rescue dogs named "Maya", "Shorty", "Nicki", "Brandy", "Missy", and "Toby", and last but not least..."Tank", my 100 lb plus Sulcata Tortoise. At the age of 57, I can say I have lots of experience with animals...and I never tire of their antics. I can't even remember how many times I have stopped on the highway to rescue turtles that are trying to cross the busy roads. I have rescued dogs and found homes for them...the two I have now were rescues that came at a time where I could take in another dog. They are my soulmates. I would be happy to bring in your mail, newspaper, water the plants, garden, whatever you might need to keep things going while you are away. Whatever is needed to make your pet feel safe and comfortable is not only my goal, but my pleasure. I'd like to spend 30 minutes on each visit with your pet and if your pet has any medications or special needs I would certainly like to go over them with you so that I can ensure that all of your pets needs are met. My years of experience with watching other peoples pets is alot longer than 4 year but for being paid to do it, it's been 5 years since moving back to Houston. I have years of experience with all kinds of pets. When I moved back down here from the Dallas area, the move was carefully planned around the pets so that it was as stress free as possible. My pets are my family and my life. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your furry, feathery or scaled family members. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

I primarily care for the pets in the clients home where they are most comfortable. At some point I would love to be able to board pets at my home but at the moment I'm just not set up for that.

Shelly was great! Gave medication 2X a day to my cat and took time to get to know both cats. Cats were happy to see me, but were very relaxed when I returned home!
Shelly took care of all my pets and did such a great job. Even just after meeting her my dog wanted to be best friends with her.
Shelly has been my go to animal lover for a couple of years now and she’s great. She is flexible and steps in when I miss things. Great with communication. I wouldn’t know what to do without her.
Shelly works so hard for me and my setup isn’t always easy but I love how she just makes everything work which is exactly what you need when you’re away. She takes care of my animals and it’s always nice to come home and know they’ve not missed out. Shelly is always available to communicate in case you’ve forgotten something or needs to send her an extra message. Always amazing!
Shelly is a huge animal lover and great with our dog. She always keeps me updated and she pays close attention to the little details.

Schedule
I work a full time job in addition to pet sitting, so most of my clients are working pet parents. My reviews reflect the care I give to their pets. I will do everything possible to ensure your pet feels safe and happy.
