About: I have experience caring for cats of varying temperaments, from social and affectionate to more independent and reserved. About: I learned at an early age how important it is to respect any animal's space and autonomy, especially cats. When I meet a cat, my goal is to simply be a part of the environment. They can come say hi, if they show they're receptive to petting or cuddling I'll happily oblige, and if not, I'm unmoved. Few things make a cat (or most animals, in my experience) more uncomfortable than being stalked or chased by someone that thinks they're making a friend. This attitude has won over several shy cats throughout the course of my life, including my childhood cat who I found as a stray and earned her trust until she came home with me on her own. Her first family openly said they had kicked her out and wouldn't feed her or let her in anymore, so we knew for sure she needed a home. Before and since taking her in, I've met and helped (and been avoided by) plenty of cats. I'm not a dog or a cat person, I just love animals and their individuality.

About: I have cared for and loved animals my whole life including dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, rats, reptiles, amphibians, and even squirrels! I have 6 years of experience of professional pet sitting and each pet is treated like my own. Even though I live in an apartment, my heeler/pointer rescue pup enjoys many outdoor adventures with me, including long walks, hiking, socializing with dog friends, and enrichment exercises. I am currently a stay at home mom. My schedule is very flexible as long as the little one can tag along for the ride! Life is too short to not cuddle on the couch with your pup! All my guests are allowed on the living room furniture. During the meet and greet, I'll probably ask about what your daily routine looks like and how I can best maintain that stability for your buddy while you're away. Before I got my degree, I also worked at an animal hospital, so I’ve had experience being around and caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, daycare, boarding, house sitting, and overnight care. I’ll also send regular photo and video updates so you can feel connected while you’re away.
