Alondra was an excellent sitter. She kept us updated throughout our trip and was very consistent despite the holiday. She even cleaned the litter box daily, which I did not ask that she do, a nice surprise. I look forward to booking her again!

About: Hi! My name is Kayla, and I’ve been around animals my entire life. I currently have four dogs of my own ranging from a Mini English Bulldog to a Great Dane, so I’m very comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I have experience with large breeds including Great Danes, Bullmastiffs, and Pit Bulls, as well as smaller breeds. I understand that every pet has different energy levels, routines, and needs. I currently offer drop-in visits and dog walking services. Whether your pet needs a potty break, exercise, playtime, fresh water, feeding, medication, or simply some extra attention while you’re away, I’m happy to help. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your animals. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to make each visit a positive and stress-free experience. I look forward to meeting you and your pets and finding the best fit for their needs! My schedule is flexible, allowing me to provide drop-in visits and dog walking throughout the week. I currently work part-time in the beauty industry, which gives me availability during the day for potty breaks, walks, feeding visits, and check-ins. I understand how important consistency is for pets and will always communicate clearly and provide updates during every visit. I currently offer care exclusively in my clients’ homes so pets can remain comfortable in their own environment and routine. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully regarding feeding, medications, walks, potty breaks, and household routines. My goal is to provide dependable care while making your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

About: I have always had a special place in my heart for dogs! I was a pet sitter for 10+ years, but recently took a short break after moving to a different part of the great state of Texas! I’ve also been a foster and greatly enjoyed and will hopefully get back into that soon as well. Now that we are settled, we are ready to welcome your sweet pet into our home and will love and care for them as if they were our very own! We are a no cat household, so sorry!! I have experience caring for pets of all ages, from puppy to seniors! Our dog pretty much has free rein in the house, however, if you have rules that need to be followed, I will be sure to keep their routine for you! We hope to welcome your sweet pet into our home soon so we can love on them for you while you enjoy your travels, and I will be sure to send you LOTS of pictures! Working from home allows me to be present for your pet for most of the day. Most days I am home 24/7. There may be times that I will run an errand or two, but I will never be away for more than 2 hours. I also have cameras in the house that I use to check on them if I am away, even for a short period of time. Your pets' well being is my priority during their entire stay. With a fenced yard, your dog will be able to enjoy outdoor time as often as they like. My dog, Lukka, loves to play and have fun with other dogs. He’s been around puppies and giant dogs alike. He’s a gentle boy and will let your dog be as playful with him as they like. Our main living areas are carpet free, so if there are any accidents, it’s very easy to clean up! As previously mentioned, your pets are welcome to be as free as they like in our home. We have dog beds in just about every room in our home, but you are welcome to bring your own as well. Please let me know your pets daily routine, dietary preferences, any medical conditions or medications, their temperament around other animals, and any specific training commands they respond to. Your pet will be treated as our very own. Unless you have specific rules, they will be allowed on our furniture and beds. We will, however, stick to your pets schedule and rules as requested.

About: Hi! I’m Savannah, and I’ve been pet sitting for 8 years. I’m a proud dog mom to three pups of my own and have experience raising two litters, as well as caring for senior dogs who need a little extra patience and support. I’m comfortable with all ages, breeds, and personalities, and I always treat every pet like they’re part of my family. Your pets will be safe, loved, and well-cared for with me! Right now, I’m available all day, every day. I have a very flexible schedule, so I can accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening care. About: Hello! I’ve owned and cared for dogs and cats for most of my life, so being around animals has always been a big part of my day-to-day life. Recently my family has also added lizards and ferrets, and I help with their feeding, cleaning, and general care. I also worked at a dog boarding and training facility for eight months, where I gained hands-on experience caring for multiple dogs, making sure they were safe, exercised, and comfortable while their owners were away. I’m very attentive, patient, and genuinely love spending time with animals. My goal is always to make sure pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for while giving owners peace of mind. 🐾 I am currently working part-time going to school. I always try to look at my schedule before agreeing to anything and always try to plan around my schedule when agreeing to things. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. In a client’s home, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and receive lots of attention. I also keep their space clean, follow any specific instructions the owner provides, and make sure the pets are safe and happy while their owners are away. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual needs and always treat them with the same care and patience I would give my own pets.

About: I stand out because I have real, hands-on experience with all kinds of pets. I have six pets of my own (three dogs and three cats) that I’ve cared for since they were babies, so I truly understand daily pet care, routines, and responsibility. I’ve also been dog sitting for neighbors since I was 13, which has given me years of experience with different personalities and needs. I’ve worked with mean dogs, anxious dogs, and super energetic dogs, so I know how to stay calm, patient, and adjust my approach to each animal. Right now, I’m caring for my elderly blue heeler, so I’m especially comfortable with senior care, including slower walks, medications, and extra attention. I also have experience caring for puppies and helping them adjust to routines. Overall, I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely love animals. I treat every pet like they’re my own and always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Pet care fits really well into my schedule. I’m a full-time college student in the Price College of Business at OU, and my classes usually end in the early afternoon, which gives me plenty of availability for pet care during the day. I also teach cheer and tumbling lessons part-time, but those are scheduled and flexible, so I’m able to plan around them. Because of this, I have consistent time for walks, feeding, playtime, check-ins, and overnight care. I’m very organized with my schedule and make sure each pet gets the attention and care they need. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy, so I prioritize it and fit it naturally into my daily routine. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I prioritize safety, trust, and keeping their routine the same. I carefully follow all instructions given by the owner, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, and any special needs. I make sure doors, gates, and crates are always secure and that pets are supervised and safe at all times. I respect the home by keeping everything clean and organized, and I’m mindful of each pet’s comfort and boundaries. I pay close attention to behavior and body language, especially for anxious or senior pets, and adjust my care to meet their needs. I also make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection so they feel comfortable while their owners are away. I treat both pets and homes with care and respect, and I always aim to create a calm, safe environment where pets feel relaxed and well cared for.

About: I’ve worked with and owned many different breeds of dogs, along with cats and reptiles etc. I love all animals and have helped with a family member’s boarding facility over the past few years. As I currently have a work from home job, I’m easily able to care for and play with all of the furry babies as they need it! I have a fenced in yard with a lock, and make sure to sure keep all things put away that your four legged baby might not need to have access to.

Amy is the best! We traveled overseas for 10 days & she took top-notch care or our 2 kitties - one of which requires 2 oral meds daily. She goes above and beyond making sure that our pets are well taken care of while on business of vacationing. We have been using Amy for our petsitting for over 2 years now. Thanks again, Amy

About: I’ve had fur babies of my own for years and made sure they had best life possible! I also have experience in being doggie daycare as an attendant! Would care and report good behaviors and bad behaviors, report health problems in the room. Seperate dogs that would get intense by noticing certain behaviors. Swap dogs in and out of room when time to leave or time to come into daycare. Clean up after the puppies if they had an accident. After day is completed, we would clean entire rooms by vacuum and then mop and bucket wash on floors. I also have experience with cats and dogs! More dogs than anything but willing to help with both! I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available for boarding on weekdays after 4pm from Wednesday-Friday. I can do morning time till 4pm on weekends. Then I have Monday and Tuesday off. I used to have a fenced in yard to keep my fur babies safe. At the moment I do not have a place of my own so I cannot offer services to hoard in my own home. But I’m willing to offer any other services.

About: My beloved shih tzu passed recently after long and adventurous 14 years. I've had him since he was 8 weeks old, so I’m very well familiar with puppy stage as well as senior years. I was very attached to my doggie and know a lot about small breed needs and temperament. I’m also available to care for medium size dogs on case by case basis. Please, contact me for more information. I work from home full time and can give your pet plenty of attention, exercise and potty breaks. We always have someone at home, so your pet would always have company. I strive to provide the same care your pet would get at home. As a small dog owner I struggled to find a good sitter for my Shih Tzu, so I want to be that one person you can trust with your pet. I never book multiple families at the same time, so your pet will have all of my attention and care. I have a large house and a few acres of land to run around and have fun. We do not have any other pets right now, but we do have 2 small children who are gentle and great with animals.

Zoe is a thoughtful caregiver and we were so happy to have her help while on our vacation. Mazie got a daily dose of love and attention, goldfish were fed, and she even took care of our plants and brought in packages. I would highly recommend Zoe if you are looking for someone you can trust with your pets in your own home.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Magnolia stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Magnolia choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Magnolia with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Magnolia. On Rover:

  • 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
