About: I am a former teacher currently leaving the education field and pursuing other career options. Because of this transition, I am available full time and my schedule is pretty flexible. I have been a fur parent all my life. I have experience caring for senior dogs (I have cared for 3 of my own). I am patient and attentive to detail. I believe in giving 100% in everything I do, so I love to ensure your pet is getting the proper love and care they deserve. This is my full time job so I am pretty flexible. With the proper advance notices, I can do drop-ins and walks in mornings and afternoons. I can do boardings on weekends and weekdays after 3pm. My animals are on a routine feeding schedule. They have many potty breaks and have play time in our fenced backyard. My senior dogs get any medication they need while enjoying relaxing time in my home.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs almost all of my life. I have a handsome German shepherd who has been trained by me & my husband. We have taken online courses and done our own research to enhance our knowledge on dogs and their behaviors. I believe exercise is an important part of a dog’s life as well as enrichment activities. For drop ins I would be feeding, walking & playing with your dog. For dog walking, I can walk them in your neighborhood or at a nearby park if requested. For doggy day care, I would be walking, feeding, running, playing and cuddling / going to parks if allowed 😊 Taking care of dogs is currently my full time job so I am extremely flexible and able to care for dogs anytime during the week. I live in an apartment with my German shepherd who is create trained and house trained. I will keep all dogs separated unless owners request otherwise. About: I currently have a 3.5 year old Shiba Inu myself, and if you know anything about these breeds they are very stubborn doggos. So I’m very familiar with patience and consistency. About: I am an animal lover, and I have experience taking care of dogs and birds. I’m also an educator and a single mom of three, and I take care of animals in my spare time because I enjoy it and so do my children. As a teacher, most of my breaks align with Klein Isd and other surrounding districts. Due to this, I have more time during holiday breaks to be able to take care of your precious animals. My schedule may not reflect that on my profile, so just ask if you have any questions. I’ll take care of your animals like they are my own. I am a teacher and so most days I am home by 4:30 PM during the week, and I have weekends off. My breaks are also the same as most of the ISD‘s and the Spring/Houston area. I usually ask that the owner leave me a list or a text explaining everything they want done with their pets. I keep treats in my house for dogs but if your dog has any allergies or sensitivities I will keep that in mind and feed them accordingly. I only ask that you provide the food and any medications that your pet may need so that we can keep them on their routine and not upset their stomach while you are away. I prefer to keep animals in my home but I will come to your home if need be and the distance is doable. I currently don’t have any animals in my home so all dogs are welcome, even those that are not dog friendly.
About: My family has always had pets: cats, dogs, and a variety of others! I adopted my first dog, Monty, as an adult in 2016. He was my whole heart and soul, and I would not be the person I am without him. I adopted him off the euthanasia list at an estimated 9 yrs old with heartworms. I knew it would take some TLC to unlock his sweet goofy side. I learned very quickly (day 2!) that his unknown past left him with severe destructive separation anxiety and elopement tendencies (if he couldn't jump/climb over a fence, he went through it)! We tried medication, specialized training with a behaviorist, and crate training, but he could not be contained or soothed unless his momma was nearby. I found a reputable cage-free doggy daycare that accommodated his needs and kept him safe during the day. For the last 5 years, I have worked part time at that facility, learning and implementing rhe art of introducing dogs to each other, observing their behavior to determine temperament, handled reactive dogs, broken up the occasional fight, captured the occasional escapee, bathed them, dried them with a high velocity dryer, clipped their nails, coaxed them into eating with calm body language and words of affirmation, administered oral/topical/injected medication as prescribed - you name it, I've probably done it. If I haven't done it, I'm willing to learn! At your pace and, most importantly, at your pet's pace! Additionally, I've fostered and found homes for several dogs, whelped and weaned foster puppies, researched and participated in obedience training, reinforced skills as needed, among many other necessary tasks. Again, you name it and I'm willing to learn! As stated above, I work part-time at a daycare/boarding/grooming facility, typically 1pm-7pm on weekends and usually one or two weekdays. My personal pet (a feisty corgi named Bailey) is completely house-broken and well-socialized. I live in an apartment with a fenced off-leash dog park. I take my corgi to the fenced area for potty and play time. We also usually walk the complex twice per day. I love going to bigger public dog parks at cooler times of day. I typically feed on a schedule and can adjust if needed. My dog is toy possessive so she does not have unsupervised access to toys when other dogs are in my home. I typically separate dogs from each other when I leave and during feeding times for safety reasons. I do have a medium crate (corgi-sized), and I have space for a bigger crate if you'd like your dog to be crated (and don't mind me borrowing it for the duration of your pet's stay)!

Sawyer was amazing with my very fearful and skittish 3 year old Chihuahua. As soon as he walked in the door my Chihuahua barked once and then proceeded to lick Sawyer like he has been her friend. There have been only a handful of people that my Chihuahua has responded to in that way and it always warms my heart when it happens. I truly believe animals can sense the intentions of a person and when Nezuko immediately takes to someone I know they are a good person. Nezuko also never eats her meals with strangers and she ate all of her food the first time Sawyer fed her. It's one thing when someone is good with your well behaved dogs, it's something entirely different when you have a poorly behaved or fearful dog that responds so well to a stranger. I also have an elderly dog on heart meds and Sawyer wasn't deterred by administering meds or even the possibility of my dog passing out from strain on her heart. Thank you Sawyer for just being a good person my dogs clearly trust. If I could give him 100 stars I absolutely would.
