“I appreciate Avery taking care of our two dogs while we were out of town. He did a great job of communicating with us throughout our time away. He sent us photos of the dogs and let us know they were fine. We will definitely reach out to Avery again!”

“First time booking with Rachael while we were out of town. Couldn't be happier! She was so patient with a changing set of instructions as our dog was recently put on new meds and needed to be more closely watched than we are used to. Luckily our dogs had not troubles while were away but I feel confident she would have handled it and that is such a relief. She stayed at the house and kept it up very nicely so that was a bonus! Have already booked again :)”

“Emma has house-sat my cats twice for extended periods. She keeps me updated with photos and asks questions if needed. She’s easy to communicate with and responds promptly. My cats always have a blast with her and are well cared for and loved. On top of that, she leaves my place in the same or even better condition than when I left. As an anxious person and loving pet parent, I usually stress about leaving my kitties. However, when Emma is watching my babies, I’m not even worried because I know they’re in excellent hands!”

“John was great very communicative, attentive, and punctual with Bella. This was my first experience using a sitter outside of my family, and I must say I was really happy to have found him. He made the entire process comfortable and stress-free, and I would absolutely recommend him as a sitter.”

“This was my first time ever using the rover app and was super happy with the experience. Olivia was amazing and did so well with my animals. She even got my shy cat to come out and be social. Olivia was great at communication and kept me well updated along with photos of my babies having fun!”

“Abby did a great job taking care of my little girl Millie. She stayed all night and most of the day as she was able to work from home using my Wi-Fi. She walked her and fed her twice a day. I’ve never left her alone overnight before as I’ve only had her five months now and I didn’t want her to be lonely so I felt comfortable leaving her with Abby. Millie seem very comfortable with Abby from the start she was very friendly with Milly. Abby would send me pictures, and Millie looked very happy. Communication went well and responded immediately. I will definitely use Abby again in the future when needed and would highly recommend her for anyone with their pets. She seems to really love animals and enjoy taking care of them.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals of all kinds since I was 9 years old. Over the years, I’ve helped care for the pets of family, neighbors, and friends, along with our own family dogs and cats. I’ve also lived with a roommate who fostered multiple animals, and I was happy to help care for dogs, cats, and even a few snakes along the way. I currently share my home with a cat of my own, Zoey, who I’ve been lucky enough to love for the past 11 years. I also roommate with my little sister, who has a dog named Teddy. He has been with her since she was 17 and I was 18, and I help care for him as if he were my own—because honestly, he is my baby too. My experience includes walking, feeding, bathing, and giving plenty of attention (and affection) to every pet in my care. I’m deeply grateful for all of these moments. While I’m there to care for your fur babies, they always return the favor by blessing me with their presence, their personalities, and those moments that make each visit special. My schedule is pretty much open. I do have a part time job and go to school, but my schedule is mostly open because my job and school schedule are very flexible, so I'll have plenty of time to help and enjoy the company of your awesome dogs and cats or others. I don't mind also taking care of other animals. They need love too. I will definitely ask my clients if there are any specific needs that need to be met for each of your fur babies and respect the wishes of my pets' parents as well. I will be catering and attentive to their needs. I will be active and playful but also give them their space when they need it. Overall, I aim to make sure your pet is (Are) comfortable and you, as the parent, as well.
“I cannot recommend Catherine enough! As someone using the Rover app for the first time, I was a bit nervous about leaving my two pups, but Catherine made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. She kept me updated and put my mind completely at ease while I was away. What truly sets Catherine apart is how she goes above and beyond to provide exceptional care. One of my dogs requires daily medication, and Catherine handled it with such diligence and patience, ensuring she never missed a dose. It is such a relief knowing my pets were in such capable, loving hands. She is wonderful with both of them, and I’m so grateful I found her!”

“Erica was fantastic! She was attentive and responsive and took very good care of my babies while I was traveling. She also takes the most amazing pictures! I’m grateful for her.”

“Kayla is absolutely amazing! From the moment I met her, it was clear how much she loves and cares for animals. She went above and beyond to make sure Penelope and Parker felt comfortable, happy, and loved while I was away. She sent regular updates and adorable photos that truly put my mind at ease. I could tell Penelope and Parker were relaxed and well-cared-for, which speaks volumes about her attentiveness and genuine compassion. Kayla is trustworthy, kind, and incredibly responsible—I feel so lucky to have found her! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who treats your furry family members like their own. ❤️”
About: I am an A&M student studying ecology & conservation biology. I have always had animals (cats, dogs, reptiles, rodents, fish) and rode horses for 10 years as well! I’m my friend’s and family’s go-to animal person, though I’m new to Rover. I can do active, medications, bad behavior, seniors, injuries/wounds, the works! I'm flexible to do whatever is needed and I care just as much as you do. Im also open to discussing care for animals that aren’t cats or dogs. I'm very rooted in problem solving and hopefully even having your pet better than you left them. Hit me up! I'll take care of it. My availability is always varied. As I’m in school, my schedules change by day, week and semester constantly. My calendar and booking slots are always updated. Usually, my Rover page is most active in the summer and winter I care for pets in their own homes where they feel safest. I follow instructions closely, keep everything clean, and pay close attention to your pet’s needs and body language. I’ve spent lots of time learning about ways pets communicate. You know your pet best, so I’ll respect your guidance while making sure they get the love and attention they deserve.
“My Bandit loves Aiden! He is great with dogs and so dependable. After staying with my dog for 10 days, he left the house in perfect condition. I will use him often and highly recommend him.”

“Sherry was great! Very responsive, asked good questions, and answered promptly. Took good care of our two high-energy pups! Our home was neat and tidy, just like we left it. No problems or concerns. She was great to work with! Will use her again next time we’re headed out of town!”

“Sophia is amazing! She took excellent care of our Johnny boy and of our home. She has a fun personality and is so kind. Johnny loved her instantly! I loved all the pictures and videos she sent while we were away. Even some on the Ring doorbell camera. 😂 We will absolutely be hiring her again!”

“Heather was great with my two pups (background: I have nervous nelly Havanese who is extremely shy around new people and a senior dog who has to take numerous meds twice a day). She was an excellent communicator and gave me updates while I was away. I recommend Heather if you are looking for a reliable pet sitter!”

Deanna is fantastic. We've used her twice already and had to reschedule once. She communicates well and the dogs love her. No issues with the dogs when we depart as they want to play more with her than us. She sends pictures throughout the day and evening. Highly recommend!

Katherine did a fantastic job for us taking care of our two dogs. Her communication was wonderful keeping posted and making us comfortable with her being there at our house. Our dogs were great when we got home and the house was immaculate. She’s a pleasure to have taking care of your pals!

Kayla was absolutely incredible with Penelope and Parker! From the moment we connected, I felt completely at ease knowing they were in such caring and capable hands. She went above and beyond to make sure both dogs were comfortable, happy, and well cared for the entire time. Kayla kept me updated with regular messages and photos, which meant so much and gave me total peace of mind. It was clear that she genuinely cared about their routines, personalities, and little quirks—Penelope and Parker both looked so relaxed and content! I came home to two very happy pups and everything in perfect shape. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would 100% book with Kayla again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive, and kind sitter! Thank you again, Kayla! 🐾
Emma did an outstanding job house sitting for our cat Ziggy for 3 nights. Emma is responsible, very sweet, communicative, sent lots of updates & photos - she’s a real “cat whisperer!” Our cat was clearly comfortable with her & even slept in the bed with her! She took great care of our house & left it in better shape than when we left! She provided real peace of mind & we look forward to working with Emma in the future.
