“Rose is a gem. 💛 This was our first time using a pet sitting service and I was honestly hesitant about having someone stay in our home for five nights. But the second we did the meet-and-greet and Biscuit (my heart in Labradoodle form) immediately decided Rose was a good person… I knew we were going to be okay. While we were gone, Rose kept us so well updated and made it easy to actually relax. She took Biscuit on walks, gave her lots of love and attention, and she was so sweet and thoughtful with our senior schnauzer, Piper. You can tell she truly cares. We came home to happy pups and peace of mind, and that’s everything. We’ll 100% book Rose again.”

“Jaye was great to communicate with and was very flexible in helping us figure out exactly what and when we needed her to come. It was nice to see pictures of the dogs and get updates from her. The dogs seemed happy and healthy when we returned. We’ll definitely be using Jaye again!”

About: Hi, I’m Crystal. A lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds! I started young as an Animal Care Assistant, volunteering at local pet stores where I learned everything from safe handling to daily feeding routines. Since then, I’ve traveled across states to pet-sit for family and friends, gaining experience with dogs, cats, and even small animals. I know how hard it can be to leave your pets behind, which is why I provide reliable, loving, and personalized care that feels just like home. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or extra cuddles, your furry friend will get my full attention (and plenty of love!). For daycare and boarding they will be staying in a standalone gated condo, with a spacious indoor layout and a private fenced patio area for safe outdoor time. I strive to create a calm, clean, and comfortable environment where pets can feel relaxed and cared for during their stay 😊 Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine! I start my mornings walking or checking in on pets before work and end the day with evening feedings, playtime, and cuddles. My flexible schedule allows me to provide consistent, reliable care throughout the week. I treat every pet like family and always prioritize their comfort and safety. I follow your care instructions closely, keep a clean and calm environment, and send regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. Whether at my home or yours, I maintain secure spaces, fresh water, and plenty of love and attention.

“Excellent experience! The house was just as we left it. I loved the pics and updates of my dogs' play and temperaments. I absolutely recommend Carrie.”

About: 🐾 Play | Rest | Repeat 🐾 I’ve always had an easy, natural relationship with dogs. I genuinely enjoy being around them — whether that means a long walk, time at the park, playing until they’re happily worn out, or just letting them relax and do their thing. There’s something very satisfying about a dog who’s had a full day especially when the zoomies are done, the sniffing is complete, and they settle onto the couch like they accomplished something important. That’s the vibe here. My goal is simple: your dog feels comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you’re away and goes home happy. 🐾 Meet Cooper 🐾 We have an Australian Shepherd named Cooper or “Coopie,” as I call him. He’s good with kids, dogs, and cats. He’s energetic and enjoys playing, but he’s just as happy lounging on the couch or doing his own thing. He’s well socialized and not aggressive. Like any dog, he adjusts his energy depending on who he’s interacting with; some become play buddies, others just coexist peacefully. I always supervise introductions and make sure everyone is comfortable. We do walk Coopie off leash when appropriate, but that does not mean your dog has to be. Every dog’s comfort level and training is different, and I respect that. A Few Things to Know • Boarding is based on a 24-hour window (example: drop-off at 10am, pick-up by 10am). • Communication matters, so if you need specific timing or accommodations, just let me know in advance. • Meet & greets are strongly preferred so everyone feels comfortable before booking. Our Schedule I’m home during the day and handle the majority of care and supervision. Lawrence works in-office, so your pup will primarily be with me. They’ll be part of the normal daily routine here which includes breaks, play, and downtime included. I may run short errands occasionally, but long stretches alone aren’t common. We welcome any questions or if you want to talk through your dog’s routine, feel free to message me before booking! 🩷 I do work full-time and my boyfriend helps me out with the pups. His schedule is much more flexible than mine. On average you can expect for you pup to be left alone for no more than 4 hours. We can try our best to make accommodations if needed. We have a fenced in backyard that pups can have outside freedom. We will always be outside with them and never leave them to fend for themselves against the squirrels.
About: Hi! I’m a huge animal lover who treats every pet like family. I know leaving your furry friend can be stressful, so I’m always happy to chat beforehand for peace of mind. I love being outdoors, enjoy long walks, and will make sure your pet gets all the love, care, and attention they deserve. 🐾 Taking care of cute furry animals isn’t any bother to me and I will be very available 🩵 I can be available at anytime as long as i get noticed ! Depending on the dog’s character I will treat them as they’d like lol 🥰 I am always very playful with pets and will be really attentive!

Wonderful experience! She stayed overnight with my four dogs and handled my little circus like a pro. 😊 She communicated beautifully, sent pictures and updates, arrived on time, and made the entire process easy and stress-free. My dogs were happy, relaxed, and well cared for when I returned, and everything was exactly as it should have been. Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Westfield on Rover is $33.3 per night (as of September 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Westfield walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Westfield maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Westfield choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
