“Jillian is amazing with our pets and communicates very well for every visit. Dogs are excited to see her every time she arrives, and has even helped get our senior dog playing again.”

“Natali is kind and caring...an amazing pet care giver. She followed exact instructions for caring for our beloved cat. Natali helped put our mind at ease so we could feel comfortable leaving our little Maxwell Tidbits at home. Thank you, Natali, for being a bright light for our pets and their respective families. We appreciate you 😊.”

“Olivia is an exceptional pet care provider. The professionalism she brings is something I have yet to encounter on this app so far. Olivia noticed my male dog had an upset stomach and let him eat some grass, gave him more water, love, and care. She even stayed longer than the planned visit to clean his cage and grate mat, so he had something to lay on when she left. I highly recommend Olivia and will be using her for all future needs!”

About: I have been a dog lover my whole life. My first dog, a shih tzu named Gigi, who I had since she was 2 months old and is now 15 years old. As Gigi got older, she has become partially blind and deaf in one ear, so i have experience with special needs. I was not able to bring her with me when I moved to California 5 years ago, but she is still living her best life with my parents back in Texas. Seeing as I missed Gigi so much, my boyfriend and I adopted my second dog (but our first), an Akita/Husky/German Shepherd mix named Luna, who I have had for 3 years now. Luna is high-energy, I make sure she gets her daily exercise, eats nutritiously, and stays fresh and clean. I will treat your pup with the same love and care I give Gigi and Luna! I am a personal trainer and small business owner with the ability to make my own schedule, so I have time and am available to spend time with your pups! I have a car so I will be able to drive to you home to take your pup out. I have a car seat attachment to secure your pup but I can also take into consideration of your pup’s needs. I enjoy going on a walk or sometimes a light jog around the neighborhood or at local parks, so if your pup needs some exercise, you can count on me to make sure they get it!
About: I’ve worked as a Veterinary Technician and have hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments including those with special needs or medical conditions. I’m also trained in sonography and comfortable administering medications or providing compassionate senior care. At home, I have five pets three small dogs and two senior cats so I understand what it takes to keep pets happy, healthy, and loved like family. I treat every pet in my care as if they were my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily life. With over seven years of experience as a Veterinary Technician, caring for animals is second nature to me. I’m available every day and can easily accommodate a variety of pet care needs from walks and feedings to medication administration and senior support. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness come first. At my home, pets enjoy a secure, fenced-in yard for outdoor play and plenty of cozy spaces inside for rest and relaxation. I maintain a calm, structured environment that helps pets feel at ease, whether they’re energetic puppies or gentle seniors. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow your established routines to keep things familiar and stress-free. I’m confident working with all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, and I take pride in giving every pet the same patience, attention, and love I give my own.
“Kira was wonderful. This was our first experience with Rover.com and we are extremely satisfied with the service. From the first meeting we were very comfortable that our pet would be cared for and all went well. We will be using Rover again and recommend Kira as a caregiver.”

“Moriah went above and beyond to take care of our cats! This is the first trip we have left after one of our cats was diagnosed with diabetes and her communication was so thorough and reassuring the entire time.”

“Tamara took care of Sunny while I took a vacation. She spent the time and walked him as much as possible. Very happy with Sunny upon my return, all looked good in my home. This was my first time using Tamara and I will use her again if she is available.”

About: Hi, I’m Bianca! I’ve raised dogs and cats my whole life and have always been the one friends and family trust to care for their pets. I treat every animal like my own — with love, patience, and attention. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or cuddles, your pet will be in caring hands! 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I love spending time with animals whenever I can. I work full-time, but I’m fully available all day on Sundays and Tuesdays. Monday through Saturday, I’m available before 1 p.m. for walks, drop-ins, or playtime. I make sure every visit is filled with care, attention, and plenty of love! 🐾 When I’m caring for pets during drop-ins or walks, safety and trust always come first. I carefully follow each pet’s routine — from feeding and water breaks to walk routes and playtime preferences. I make sure doors and gates are secure, and I always keep pets on a leash during walks. My goal is to make every visit a positive, calm, and fun experience so your pet feels safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. 🐾

About: I am here to help you with your fur babies when you are not able to. I have a two year old Shih Tzu who is a couch potato. Who would rather play with toys indoors then go for a walk outside. I love to go for walks everyday to stay active. However, I don't like going alone and would love a furry friend to tag along. I have had cats my whole life since before I could walk so I love cats just as much! I have fur babies so I understand that they are more then just a pet but a family member. I follow directions and will keep notes during the meet and greet to remind myself. I will be more than happy to provide as many pictures as needed during the visit to make sure everything is done right and taken care of to allow the pet parent to be stress free.

“Shelby is 100% Reliable and professional. This is our second time to use Shelby. We are delighted with her service. She cared for our elderly dog and gave her meds every day. She also ensured the cats still had lots of food and water. She gave cuddles and sent pictures regularly. We love her!!”

Christine took excellent care of my senior kitty Tequila! She took care to clean her food and water dishes and make sure the robot litter box got the bin emptied as needed. She sent lots of pictures for every check in and we could see that Tequila enjoyed her company. Christine was flexible when we needed to extend our trip which was such a relief! She took time to play with Tequila, brush her, and give her lots of love! I will not hesitate to book with Christine again and recommend her to others.

Lizeth did an amazing job checking in on my kitties during a weekend trip. One of my cats takes two medications and she familiarized herself with the instructions before our walkthrough and asked good questions, which I found very reassuring. She sent super cute photos and was prompt with each visit. I’ll definitely seek her out for pet care in the future!

Gracie is the sweetest young lady! She takes wonderful care of my stubborn, senior dog and my cat. She leaves great notes and sends just the right amount of pictures so I feel informed and assured they are doing well while I'm gone. I will hire Gracie again and again!

This is the third time we've had Stephanie take care of our cats and she always does a great job! The door is always safely locked and the key back where I had it hidden every time we come home. It's nice to have a great sitter that you can trust with your pets and your home!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
