“Kristen was an amazing dog sitter for our German Shepherd Dog. We used her for drop in visits and each time she gave us a full update with pictures of our fur baby. I felt so comforted to hear how he was doing every day - he was definitely in good hands. Im so glad we found Kristen - we will definitely be using her to care for our pup again in the future!”

About: I started dog walking and pet sitting at 18 as a way to pay rent during COVID. Like anyone learning on the job, I made some mistakes in the beginning, but over the past 6 years, I’ve made a complete 180 — gaining valuable knowledge and refining my skills to care for animals the right way. Now at 24 and working toward becoming a veterinarian, this has grown from a job into a true passion. I combine experience, education, and genuine love for animals to provide the best care possible for your furry friends. My schedule varies weekly, so I update my calendar regularly to ensure you can easily book dog walking and sitting services whenever you need it. When walking dogs, I always bring a water dispenser and doggy bags, so you don’t have to worry about a thing. For dog boarding, your dog will feel right at home! Dogs are welcome on the furniture unless you prefer otherwise, following your training guidelines. I provide potty breaks every 2–4 hours and extra walks for energetic pups to burn off energy. Bedtime is at 8 PM, with the last walk of the day to help your dog settle in comfortably.
About: I have always been a huge lover of animals and love to care for them. I got my first dog, a Maltipoo named Mollie, when I was 14 and have watched other family members and neighbors pets ever since. I am a very caring and nurturing person who would provide the utmost care for your fur babies. I currently work full time Monday - Friday from 7:30a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Spring / Klein area. I am also a part time online student trying to obtain a teaching degree so, I would be spending a lot of time at home with your babies while working on school work. Weekends are fairly free besides church service on Sundays where I volunteer my time as a Sunday School Teacher from 9:00 a.m. until around 2:00 p.m. I make sure to help the animals feel safe and secure with a new person in their home. I am respectful of the animals boundaries while they get used to me being in their territory. I keep a keen eye on their habits and behavior and adjust mine accordingly. I also respect that many animals are creatures of habit and love to keep to their schedules. I would treat your fur-baby as if he / she were my own, and give the utmost care. I also make sure to respect my clients home by leaving it in sparkling clean shape.

About: I've been a pet sitter for many years. Animals are a way of life for me, and I provide dependable and compassionate care for your home and animals. I own my own photography business so I'll have time to give your pets the care they deserve. Theyll receive care, pets, walks, and attention. I believe pets feel most secure in their own environment and with their own routines. I adapt to them. It's their home, not mine!
About: Dogs have been an important part of my life for many years, and caring for them is something I genuinely enjoy and take seriously. Over the years, I’ve cared for puppies, adult dogs, senior dogs, rescue dogs, and high-energy breeds, each with their own unique personalities and needs. My experience includes fostering puppies, helping rescue and rehabilitate abandoned dogs, administering oral medications, reinforcing training, potty training puppies, and providing attentive day-to-day care through walks, house sitting, and drop-in visits. I have also cared for senior dogs who required extra patience, accommodations, and medication management. One of the things I enjoy most is getting to know each dog’s individual personality. Some dogs need structure and exercise, while others need patience, reassurance, and time to build trust. I adapt my approach to each dog while maintaining the routines and expectations established by their family. I believe great pet care goes beyond feeding and walks. I focus on creating a safe, enriching, and positive experience through structured walks, mental stimulation, play, and plenty of attention. I also provide frequent updates and photos so owners can feel confident and connected while they’re away. My long-term goal is to continue expanding my knowledge of canine behavior and training. Every dog teaches me something new, and I love the opportunity to learn from them while providing the care, consistency, and companionship they deserve. I work from home, which allows me to be flexible and attentive when caring for pets. Because I spend much of my day at home, I’m able to provide regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, companionship, and plenty of supervision. I want to make sure every pet feels comfortable, safe, and loved while maintaining the routine they’re used to at home. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow each pet parent’s instructions and do my best to maintain the routines that help dogs feel secure, comfortable, and relaxed. During walks, I stay fully attentive to the dog(s) and my surroundings. I avoid using my phone unless absolutely necessary, and if I need to check it for something important, we take a short break to ensure the dog’s safety remains my full focus. I also use safe handling practices at all times. For drop-in visits and house sitting, I make sure pets have fresh water, plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, affection, and any medications or special care they may require. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I provide regular updates and photos to help you feel connected and confident while you’re away.

“Marie was a super pet sitter! She kept in touch via email with pictures and left a daily written log of how they did. We have several pets and many needed special med's and attention. She handled them all well. She worked her schedule to fit the dogs and cats. Within a day they were looking forward to her visits and getting to snuggle and play. We were gone 24 days so it was imperative we found someone who would really love on our pets. She followed their daily routine and feeding schedule and they adjusted well to her care. No one ended up at the vet (unlike with us) just before we left! We are very pleased with our experience at rover.com”
About: I’ve grown up with three German Shorthaired pointers! One of them is now 12 years old and needs a little more attention, but he’s still as healthy as can be and the sweetest pup ever! I work another part time job, however will devote all of my time outside of that to caring for any and every pet in my custody. I always feed my dogs on time and refill their water bowl after every use because those can get dirty fast! Lots of pets and plenty of attention for every dog in my care! Also super willing to stay outside with any dog for as long as they want to ensure they’re safe and sound as they roam and do their thing!
“Highly recommend Melissa. She took care of my two cats during a last minute trip. She was very communicative and kept me up to date with her visits. I’ll keep working with Melissa as I travel often during the weekends.”

“Olivia was very pleasant and kind with my dog. She was willing to do a meet a greet before the drop in appointment. She was timely and sent pics after the visit. Would use again in the future.”

I treat every pet like family, with a focus on safety, trust, and genuine love. I currently have no other obligations and can tend to your pets’ every need. About: I grew up on my grandparents farm in West Virginia. I helped daily with every aspect of the farm, including working the dogs, feeding the sheep, and almost everything with the animals! In fact, I am planning on going into veterinary tech! I am currently unemployed so I will have a completely open schedule to play with your animals! I will also be open for the holidays as well! I've grown up with dogs my entire life. Feeding, watering, going on walks, etc., is completely in my wheel house, no matter the size of your dog! I know a lot of people are scared of handling big dogs, but I am up for the challenge.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Willow
"I cannot recommend Emma enough! This was my first time ever hiring a pet sitter for our new cats, and she was incredibly patient and responsive throughout the entire process. She even met us in person beforehand to get introduced to the cats and learn their feeding routine. She provided tons of regular updates and photos, which gave us complete peace of mind. Most amazing of all, our most skittish cat—whom we nickname 'Shiver Pants'—didn't hide at all and was so brave around her! That alone speaks volumes about her gentle care. We have already put in a booking request with her again and will continue to do so!

So happy to have found Andrea (and Steven) via Rover! They cared for our cat while we were out of town on a 2 week trip and did a wonderful job. The drop-in visits went like clockwork according to the schedule. Each and every time they sent a detailed report with pictures. Their love for animals was evident as they did special little things like hiding treats around the house for kitty to find if she got bored. It was a huge comfort to have our pet cared for and looked after while we were away. We will definitely be requesting Andrea (and Steven) again in the future and would highly recommend them to others as well.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
