About: I’ve had pets for most of my life and have experience with dogs, cats, lizards, and large parrots. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning, and keeping up with their normal routines. I’m also used to animals having different personalities and needs, so I’m patient and easygoing when getting to know a new pet. I’ll make sure your pet is comfortable and well taken care of while you’re away. I work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, so I’m mainly available for pet care in the evenings on weekdays. I’m completely free on weekends and have more flexibility for walks, drop-ins, longer visits, and overnight stays. I make sure my own pets are always safe, supervised, and up to date on their vaccinations. I keep them separated when needed and would do the same with any pet in my care. I’m careful about doors, gates, and anything that could be unsafe for an animal. I’ll also follow any instructions you leave for your pet and their routine.
“Dianne was such an awesome sitter! She took the time to bond with my cat, followed all instructions, and cared for my home. She always responded quickly and took beautiful pictures of my boy! Thank you Dianne for treating my cat the way you would treat your own! I will most certainly be working with you again.”

“Kendall took great care of my dog—super attentive, always on time, and constantly keeping me updated. I can say she provided service in an extremely professional and caring way. I can’t hold back from saying how fantastic the care was and how flawlessly she did it. Every time I’ve worked with her, I’ve been happy, got the right service, and my dog received the best care.”

“Lacinda was absolutely wonderful with our precious pup! We will definitely ask for her any time we are out of town or need someone to check on our fur baby. Thanks so much Lacinda! You’re a rockstar!!!!”

Zoe was fantastic! She accommodated us last minute for our long weekend trip and took wonderful care of our girls, Chloe and Luna. She sent us photos throughout the stay, which we loved, and even took in a package that showed up at a bad time. Highly recommend and we'll definitely be booking with her again!
Debra was amazing and I cannot have booked a better person to see after my girl. Luci and I felt comfortable with Debra immediately, and I truly felt like I had left her with a family member. This improved my mood and the overall quality of my trip significantly. 10s across the board. Thank you for everything, Debra ❤️

Morgan has taken care of my cats for the third time now, and I couldn’t be happier! She’s always reliable, caring, and great with both of them. Her daughter is also so respectful of animals and loves playing with my cats, which is so sweet. I always feel comfortable knowing they’re in such good hands!

Maria did a fantastic job with our senior cat. He isn't most cooperative with medication but she made sure he got all his pills morning and evening. She sent pictures, videos, and updates with each visit and spent extra time with our cat. Would recommend Maria!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in The Woodlands. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
