“Kathy is a trusted partner of our family. She treats our fur kiddos as they were her own. She is timely, friendly and firm with the pets. She is a respected part of our partners. If you are considering a loving , caring and timely sitter, look no further.”

“Alexandria did an awesome job taking care of my little old man while I was away. She sent reporat and pictures and kept me informed every step of the way. I highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve taken care of many pets all my life. I’ve had 6 dogs, and a cat. I love any and all fur babies no matter what kind. Im currently working part time at Pappasittos cantina. I’m about to go into my sophomore year of college so I’m looking to work as much as possible. I have a big fenced yard with two sweet and friendly pups. I also have crates if your pup prefers a safe place. I hope to see you soon!
“Joy was a complete Godsend during my recent vacation when I unexpectantly became hospitalized out of state. She was amazing in that she continued to care for my pets making certain that they were safe and well taken care of. Prompt checks-ins and photos gave me peace of mind during an uncertain time. She even did extra's along the way. Will definitely be using her again when in need of a pet sitter!”

About: I’ve provided pet care for animals of all kinds & sizes since I was around 10 years old. Growing up, we’ve always had ~5 pets at once, as well as fosters, so I feel the most at home when spending time with fur babies because they bring me so much joy!! 🐾 I am so passionate about all animals big and small. Throughout college i’ve spent much of my free time serving at various animal sanctuaries, rescues, and shelters and help manage a nonprofit chapter at my college. I graduated college in May and will be starting graduate school in the fall so I am home and available ALL summer! I would love to fill that time with taking care of & meeting furry friends. I can accommodate your timing needs with my very available schedule! Your pets are like family to me! I treat all animals with the utmost respect and take their care and safety very seriously. I am physically able to keep up with dogs of all energy levels and sizes, and have experience caring for pets of all sizes. I avoid other dogs on walks unless otherwise specified to ensure I will always your baby safe. I will always give any timid animal as much time and space as they need to feel safe in my presence before they approach me while respecting their space above all else.
“Samantha is an excellent sitter. She proactively addresses the needs of our puppy and has been wonderful to adapt to her needs. She cares for pet as if she were part of our family and as an added bonus, she takes the best pictures! We will definitely reach out to her again for future care.”

“Lesly has been so reliable, and has saved me with some short notice requests when I needed coverage! I can tell by my pup’s photos that she is really comfortable and happy around Lesly! Thank you LB!”

“Azharia was amazing! Her professionalism and attention to detail is unmatched! I appreciate her some much for the education that she provided after noting some issues with my senior dog. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for services. I will be booking with her again!”

“Megan did such a GREAT job taking care of our 2 senior big boys while we went on a trip on a busy holiday weekend. Communications were stellar as were the adorable photos she took of our dogs. Megan really went above & beyond to take care of our boys! I’d highly highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, communicative & fantastic pet sitter for their fur babies!”

“Gwen met Boomer for the first time and he gravitated to her as if she was a member of the family. She is well spoken, professional, caring and I would recommend her to other Rover members.”

“Ainsley was very prompt in letting us know when she was at the house. She let us know daily which cats she interacted with and sent pictures and videos to let us know they were safe and happy.”

“Thank you Jemma for looking after my kitties and my home for the month and a half I was away. Your fun visit reports were always a highlight in the day and put my my at ease being so far away and for so long. Thank you for the attention to detail and being so thoughtful with the kitties.”

“MaryHelen is absolutely WONDERFUL! We are so thankful to have found a new forever sitter for Nugget. I was very pleased to find out that she has a cat of her own with the same urinary issue as Nugget. If your cat has FIC, you’ll know exactly how hard it can be to find someone who can understand how confusing this condition can be.”

“Lindsay and crew are great with my fur babies! They are great with communicating and keeping me updated. And following my crazy instructions with my needy pets. It’s obvious they really care. Highly recommend!”
About: The admirer of all dogs, remarkably yours! I absolutely adore spending time with dogs, and I have a 12 year old Basset Hound named Roza who is very friendly with all other dogs and cats. Despite having a part time job, I currently have plenty of free time to dedicate to caring for and enjoying time with pets. There are many large parks near my apartment where they can run and play freely. I firmly believe that dogs are important members of the family and I will treat and protect them as such. If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. I am committed to ensuring that your dogs are content and well-cared for and will strive to meet your expectations. Thank you! My schedule is very flexible, and I am available most days and times to care for your pet. I can accommodate early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Just let me know what works best for you! Safety and trust are my top priorities. I have a secure and pet-friendly home environment where your furry friend will feel comfortable and loved. I ensure constant supervision and follow any specific care instructions you provide to make sure your pet is happy and safe.
About: Hello! I’m Kas – an experienced pet and house sitter based in Cleveland, Texas who happens to also be Australian. I have lived in Texas since Jan 1 2019. I am currently offering bespoke style house sitting services with personalized care for pets in their own homes throughout Conroe and surrounding areas. Yes, I come with an Australian accent at no extra charge—your pets may not understand me, but they’ll definitely feel like they’re on an episode of Bluey. Every family has different routines, so I’m happy to tailor my visits to suit your pets. Whether they need someone to stay throughout the day, hang around at agreed times, or provide overnight companionship, we’ll work together to create the routine that keeps everyone happy and relaxed. Clients know me for being: • Honest and trustworthy • Calm, patient and attentive • Respectful of both pets and property • Reliable and tidy • The sort of person who treats your home as if it were my own When I’m not caring for pets, I also work as a child-minder (“babysitter”), so caring for homes, children, and animals has become my everyday life. Need a little extra help while you’re away? I’m happy to assist with a few basic household tasks by prior arrangement, such as: • Bringing bins in and out • Collecting mail and deliveries • Watering plants • General home security checks Additional household services can also be arranged separately if needed. To maintain a reliable routine, my house-sitting service includes overnight stay to approximately 8am, morning and evening care, generally from sunset and seeing to basic home logistics, watering plants, bringing in the trash can, bringing in any parcels /deliveries dropped at the door. The home serves as my primary base, with a maximum away-window of 4 to 5 hours during the day to attend to my own appointments. As I have young adult sons (university students with hybrid class schedules) living at home and husband who works from home office I can be away from my home for a number of days and can extend beyond a standard week. If I am booked for housesitting I generally suspend other drop in visits to other pets for the duration of the booking to exclusively focus on one household. My goal is simple: for you to come home to happy & calm pets, a tidy house, and complete peace of mind. And if your dog starts barking with an Australian accent when you get back… well, I consider that a job exceptionally well done. I’d love to meet you—and your furry family members! Pet care fits into my weekly routine around my own home duties. I don’t have a “regular” job. My children are grown, 19 and 22 year old university students, who continue to live with their parents, and husband works from home office. My day-to-day routine is fairly flexible at this stage of my life, not yet a grandmother and not yet an empty nester. All my extended family live in Melbourne Australia and I visit them a few weeks at a time twice each year. Pet sitting income goes towards buying flights to visit my parents and paying off student loan debt. Pet sitting, is my new interest, something that I hope to carry through this empty nesting season. In me you will find an attentive pet sitter who treats the family home and pets like my own. I care for pets in their own home with total care, respect and personalized attention. I enjoy having direct contact with indoor dogs and cats that like to stay near humans and are thought of as family members.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Woodloch. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
