In high school, I volunteered at our local shelter where I helped to take care of the dogs and cats and also took dogs on walks as part of their adoptee program. About: I got my first pet when I was 14, I had adopted him from a humane society when he was 3 years old! In the time I had him I had to learn what unconditional love was, what patience really means, and what responsibility is. He was an amazing dog and I learned so much from the time I was able to care for him. About: I recently graduated from the University of Findlay’s intensive equine program, where I cared for multiple horses daily and handled everything from routine care to basic wound management.
