“Ella was amazing! She made this entire experience stress free with great communication, updates and pictures. I can see that my dog was truly having a great time and was well taken care of. Thank you for your help 💗”

“My wife & I felt at ease leaving our boy Oliver with Holly and her family. I got lots of photo/video updates, he was always happy and snuggled up with someone. 10/10 will book again”

“Amazing fur baby care provider!!! Michael initiated communication with me as this was Jenifers first time with him. Jenifers came home and jumped in her bed, slept for hours which is a sign that she played and stayed busy all week. I’ve definitely found my caretaker.”

“I highly recommend Ernesto and family. I loved the fact that I could feel comfortable going on vacation knowing Ezra would be well taken care of in a home environment. I loved all the daily updates that were sent with pictures of Ezra smiling and having fun. Will definitely book again for a future stay.”

“Elizabeth is amazing! She is responsive, professional, and provides daily updates with pictures of your fur baby. It is amazing to see how Lolla enjoyed her and the other 2 Westies she has. We went on a trip for 9 days and she took care of Lolla like family. I strongly recommend her to anyone willing to leave your per in a safe environment.”

“Morgan was fantastic! She went above and beyond in taking care of our dogs. She offered picking our dogs up and dropping them off, making travel super easy for us. She provided regular updates with pictures and treated our dogs to multiple walks. Highly recommend!”

“Carol and her husband are really nice people and our Luna seemed to have had a good time. I felt as if Carol and her husband were part of our family. We would highly recommend her to others and for our future boarding. Thank you Carol”

“I would 100% recommend Monica to anyone who wants to know their pup is in safe hands while away and will definitely be using her again! I met with Monica the night before I was leaving to go out of town, and she was prepared with a list of questions about my dog's schedule, routine, eating habits, and more so that she was truly prepared to take the best absolute care possible of my fur baby. Monica has had years of experience fostering and owning animals and that was definitely apparant by the way she cares for both her own dogs and mine while I was away, and I felt comfortable knowing that Piper was in great caring hands. Monica's two dogs are super sweet and friendly and got along great with my dog as well. There is definitely no doubt in my mind that Piper was treated as one of her own while I was away, and I would 100% reconvened and use her again!”

“Lacinda is a very caring and professional provider of pet care. Her home is very safe with a nice backyard. She took wonderful care of our dog and provided many updates and pictures which I appreciated. This was our first time using Lacinda and I would definately request her again for care of my dog.”
“Delys is a fantastic sitter! Her and her daughter took the best care of our dog for a week, we felt so reassured knowing she was being cared for so well. We loved the daily updates, photos and videos, and Delys was fast to respond to any messages we sent. We needed to amend our original booking dates and Delys could not have been more accomodating. Absolutely fantastic. Thank you so much!”

“Susan and her husband Dale took exceptional care of our two young goldens who are high energy. They took them for long walks/to fetch each morning and allowed them to come in and outside for plenty of play throughout the day. Their home is very welcoming and inviting for both dogs and humans - they were unfazed by our pups jumping on their furniture and had plenty of comfortable places for our dogs to lounge and sleep. Susan was very responsive and sent beautiful photos. Most importantly, our dogs came home relaxed and happy - it was clear to us that Susan provided a stress-free, calm environment for them to thrive while we were away. We 100% recommend Susan and Dale to care for your pups!”

“Ryan and family were exceptional! I highly recommend them and hope that they have availability the next time in have the need. Wonderful people and Rover ambassadors!!”

“I could not explain how wonderful ashley/family was with my baby Kaiser. He is a ball of energy. She welcomed him into her home and I was like Wow she spoiled him lol. I loved all the pictures that she sent to me of my Weimaraner. And the fun he was having. I would pick Ashley every time. I highly recommend Ashley and her family to anyone. Thanks again. I will be on returning and hoping to work with her/ family again.”

“Heather was fantastic! I am very selective of who I take my baby Zena to and she had a wonderful time playing with Heathers dogs in her townhouse. They went on walks each day and zena was exhausted after I picked her up. We will definitely be a returning customer for any more vacations this year.”

Heather has watched our sweet-but-very-anxious dog a few times and she is amazing! Our dog definitely requires more tlc, and Heather is so thoughtful and accommodating with her. This most recent trip, our dog was calm the whole time, which is great! Heather genuinely loves dogs and you can see that in her care.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have found such wonderful sitters for our older German Shepherd. Kristen and Jeff always give him exceptional care, attention, and love while we’re away, which gives us complete peace of mind. We couldn’t recommend them more highly!

Most importantly, I felt completely comfortable leaving my lab with Kayla. It was his first time staying with her and usually most would be nervous, I wasn’t. I could tell she genuinely enjoying having my lab stay there. I will be reaching out to Kayla from now on whenever I go out of town.

Can't give enough thanks for how wonderful Ernesto, Joan and the whole family are in taking care of our pup while away. 5 Stars for communication and care indeed. So grateful we found such a nice family to watch over our pup when we have to travel - knowing he's in such safe hands and having a great time all the same.

We are so grateful for the wonderful care Deborah gave our dog! She kept us updated with photos and messages, and it was clear our baby was happy, comfortable, and well loved. We especially appreciated how clean and well cared for she was when we picked her up. We would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter.

Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
