“I could not explain how wonderful ashley/family was with my baby Kaiser. He is a ball of energy. She welcomed him into her home and I was like Wow she spoiled him lol. I loved all the pictures that she sent to me of my Weimaraner. And the fun he was having. I would pick Ashley every time. I highly recommend Ashley and her family to anyone. Thanks again. I will be on returning and hoping to work with her/ family again.”

“Elizabeth was amazing!! She gave daily updates/ pictures and was very communicative and flexible. We can tell that they were well care for and loved! 100% would recommend Elizabeth.”

“Thank you so much She was great. I mostly liked her daily pictures of our dog and daily updates. That put my mind at ease so I could enjoy my vacation. My dog was relaxed and very happy Wonderful people. Would use her again 100%. THANK YOU SO MUCH !”

“A wonderful, kind, and caring lady. She was very communicative and even sent pictures of my dog while we were gone. She has a lovely home for a dog and backyard for them to play in.”

“Deborah is great person has a very kind heart I would definitely recommend her for your pets.. she has a really nice setup for the animals.. all in hand experience was amazing”

“Svetlana took such good care of my Alfie! He was so happy and enjoyed his own vacation with her family. She took special care of his dietary and diaper needs, I’m very grateful for the care she provided.”

“I cannot begin to recommend Jordan enough! She looked after my dog, Monty, while I was away for surgery, and I honestly don’t think he wanted to leave her when I came back. Monty came home happy, spoiled, and clearly loved every minute with her. Jordan went above and beyond, not only did she send me tons of pictures and updates that gave me complete peace of mind, but she even checked in on me to see how I was doing, which was such a kind and thoughtful touch. It’s rare to find someone who treats your dog like family, but that’s exactly what Jordan does. If you’re looking for a sitter who is caring, attentive, and genuinely wonderful, Jordan is the one!”

“Tema was a great host. Very accepting of a last minute request and easy to work with. She sent many pictures and accommodated my being slightly late. Our dog Lucy had a great time and was returned to us very tired. Tema also was very informative about Lucy throughout her stay including how much she was eating and how she was settling in. Overall can definitely recommend Tema and will be booking with her again.”

“Kristina and her husband were wonderful to work with and they took amazing care of Arthur. Easy drop of and pick up. Clear communications and no confusion. Great updates throughout his stay. He was loved and treated as one of their own dogs. And it showed. I will definitely be using this family again for my boardings in the future.”

“We are repeat clients of Ms. Lori's and it's so funny watching my pups walk into her house like they live there! They immediately get comfortable and I can tell they are looked after very well with Ms. Lori!”

“Heather was great with my 11lb Chihuahua-terrier Zoey! She took Zoey out to the dog park to play and when she had to bring in an extra dog that she was fostering she gave me a heads up before I booked. I would definitely book again :-)”

“As always, Wallace and Lulu were great. We would highly recommend them to watch your dogs! They have kept our girls several times. It is always a great experience. Thank you Wallace and Lulu.”

“Thank you, Tiffany and family, for taking such great care of Pedro! Such a loving family and he seemed very comfortable. Grateful for the updates and pics :)”

“Monica takes care of our two Italian greyhounds as if they were her own. Our smallest dog has luxating patella in both her hind legs, and Monica has no issue fixing them when her knees pop out. All the pictures and daily summaries Monica sends are awesome. We will never use anyone else to watch our dogs!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Shenandoah
This was the first time leaving my fur baby with a sitter and Brittany and her family made it a breeze! I received pictures and updates the entire time. I’m so happy that she loved on and cuddled with my baby like I would have. I definitely recommend and would trust her with my dog, Ellie, anytime!

Angelita was sooooo good toward our Lola girl. Lola came home happy and relaxed! Angelita gave us updates with pictures and was super responsive. Easy to communicate with. And the most precious lady! We all fell in love with her. ♥️ We would 💯 percent choose Angelita again!

Jordan was fantastic. She is a very sweet lady who genuinely loves dogs. Great communication from the time we requested booking all way up to when we picked our puppy up. She even sent pictures everyday to show us how he was doing. We will definitely book with her again when we need a sitter.

To say Lesly went above and beyond for us is an understatement!! She took amazing care of our two dogs while they were staying with her for our wedding week. We had a zoom stream of the ceremony for friends and family abroad and she streamed it so the puppies could “watch” their humans get married. Just the sweetest thing to do for us since we wish they could have been there with us. I would recommend her to anyone looking for an attentive, loving, and communicative sitter.

Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
