I have lifelong experience caring for a variety of pets, including dogs, rabbits, chinchillas, and tortoises. I am detail-oriented, reliable, and attentive to each animal’s individual needs. I am knowledgeable and comfortable with administering medications to dogs and cats and have hands-on experience caring for senior dogs and dogs with mobility challenges. I prioritize safety, routine, and compassionate care to ensure pets feel comfortable and well-cared for while their owners are away.

Samantha is wonderful! She used to help take care of my Senior Grumpy Aussie and was extremely attentive. If she hadn’t noticed something odd in his skin, we would have lost him without knowing why. But with her attention, we were able to get about a week notice that he had a blood cancer and get him the vet care he needed on his way out. After he passed we got a new puppy. She came over for introduction and we talked about having her help reinforce training that we’re doing. She comes twice a week and sends awesome updates. I love the pics & videos and it makes me feel so comfortable leaving to work knowing she will be there for him. She also helps feed the fish when we’re out of town and does little things to help out like throw the soiled blankets in the wash. Really love having her support our family.
We use Samantha for all of our visits/trips away and she's always fantastic! Easy to trust, great with our dog and wonderful communication!

This was our first time leaving our pups home without us and Samantha, you were so wonderful! I enjoyed my vacation knowing my pups were being well loved and cared for. One of my dogs can be a little difficult as she doesn’t let anyone pet her that she doesn’t know but Samantha was able to coax her out of hiding and took such great care of them. Sent me updates at each visit & photos of them. Thank you so much again for peace of mind.
Sam was WONDERFUL! She was so in tune with Britt, and got her trust right away. She was so calm and attentive, and we loved having her check in on Britt!

Schedule
I currently work three and a half days a week at Texas Children’s Hospital as a chef for patients. In my spare time, I enjoy doing Rover to stay active and occupied, and I find meeting and caring for animals to be a relaxing and rewarding experience. On the days I work, I return home during lunch, and my husband is usually around the house as well to help with the animals. On my days off, I primarily focus on Rover visits or spend time taking my own dogs to the park. Caring for animals is a regular and enjoyable part of my routine, and I love providing pets with attention, structure, and comfort while their owners are away.

Safety, trust & environment
I have four dogs of my own! They are all friendly and love the extra company. I take introductions slowly when boarding at my home as to not overwhelm our visitors. I do have spare rooms in the event a visiting dog requires personal space. I do not kennel but can if requested and provided. I usually allow free roam of the house and access to furniture and beds. I also sperate dogs during feeding times for safety measures. I am currently located less then 5 minutes from a large dog park and have access to a pond and yard. I will also provide dog washing if needed before returning your pet.

A typical day
Typical days start with a walk around our home, then breakfast and hanging out until about 3-4 when we go back out to play. Then back in until about 8 to go back out to play for the evening.
