“Heather was great and super accommodating when we decided we wanted to board our little guy! Accepted super fast last minute booking and took really good care of my angel! 10/10!”

“Jordan was excellent with my puppy for doggy daycare today. She sent updates throughout the day. He must’ve had a great time because he fell asleep in the car on the way home. She was very friendly. There were no issues or concerns. We would rebook her in the future.”

“Tena was a huge help with a last minute booking I needed to make for my pups! She was very easy going, friendly and clearly has a big love for dogs. I picked my babies up with tails wagging and they were ready for bed before we hit our driveway. Highly recommend Tena, her preteen and their fur baby, Sassy, to send your pups off for a great time! 🐾❤️”

“Thank you Jaylin for your kindness and caring hospitality! Abby felt truly at home with you and your family. We will miss you and Abby already misses her boyfriend, Tucker! The BEST Pet Sitter!!”

“Ashley is always so accommodating with my pups! She always gives a full report on their potty/eating/playing habits with lots of pictures. For daycare and boarding she is my go-to sitter!”

“This was my first time using Rover and Nadia made me and my pup very happy! She was very welcoming, friendly, kind, and very accommodating to all our needs. She always responded very quickly and kept me updated with pictures and a cute video! If I had any questions she responded immediately. When I picked up my pup I could tell she was well taken care of. I highly recommend Nadia and would definitely return!”

“Elizabeth took great care of Daisy... we could see that Daisy was happy when we picked her up. She usually has a lot of energy and I'm sure the walks and play time got her ready for bed time. She was also very accommodating with the timing as I was a bit delayed than originally planned - which was very helpful. Great communication before, during and after we picked up Daisy from her. Highly recommend.”

“Watson had a wonderful time. I received pictures of him and updates during his stay. I’m going to look for Ella on our next stay here. I’d recommend her to everyone. Thank you, Ella, for taking care of Watson.”
“Wallace took great care of my pup while I was away for the day. He seemed very experience and knowledgeable working with dogs and my pup was immediately excited to meet him and the rest of the pups there. Wallace sent pictures during her stay and was easy to communicate with. I felt comfortable leaving my girl with him! She came home exhausted from playing and happy as can be. :)”

“I was very pleased with Kristina and this visit she kept me informed throughout the entire process and sent videoed and pictures. Fitz looked extremely happy and he received a good report. I will definitely use her in the future. Thank you for everything especially accepting him at such a late notice.”

About: Anyone can watch a pet. I build trust. For over 20 years, I've dedicated my life to understanding animal behavior—not just checking off a to-do list. From dogs and cats to birds, rabbits, reptiles, fish, guinea pigs, farm animals, seniors, puppies, and pets with medical needs, every animal receives patient, personalized, five-star care. Because the best pet care isn't just about showing up—it's about making them feel safe, understood, and genuinely loved. My flexible schedule allows me to provide reliable, personalized care when your pets need it most. I plan my days around each pet's routine, and for homes or pets requiring one-on-one attention, I have dependable childcare arranged so every visit receives my full focus and care. Your pet will be treated like family with personalized care, plenty of love, enrichment, playtime, walks, cuddles (if they choose!), and daily photo updates. My goal is to create a safe, low-stress environment where they feel happy, secure, and loved.
“We have had a great experience with Sofia! She is always quick to respond, easy to communicate with, and took wonderful care of our dog. It gave us peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. We would definitely book with her again!”

About: Hi there! I’ve been around animals my entire life — I grew up in a home with multiple dogs, cats, goats, and more. My love for animals naturally led me to volunteer at shelters and sanctuaries, and before long, friends were regularly asking me to pet sit. That’s what inspired me to offer my services on Rover. From 2023 to 2025, I had 4–5 regular families I consistently sat for. I also helped train my parents’ dog, Ella, during her first six months — all while working remotely. I recently relocated to Conroe, TX in May 2025 and completed month-long sitting stays in June (Texas), August (London), and September (Washington). Starting October 2025, I’ll be settling back down in Conroe and opening up my calendar to help care for your pets — whether it’s for a quick drop-in, daily walks, or extended stays. I treat every animal like they’re my own, and I’d love to be a part of your pet’s routine! I work remotely in the finance industry, which gives me a flexible schedule during the week. I’m able to step away throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, feeding, and playtime — and I already take myself on a few walks a day, so bringing a furry companion along is always welcome! I typically offer house and pet sitting at your home, as that’s where most pets are most comfortable. I may be available for boarding in special cases or local walks if you're nearby in the neighborhood. I take pet safety and comfort seriously — whether I’m staying in your home or caring for your pet in mine. I work fully remote, so I’m present throughout the day and can easily block off time for walks, potty breaks, meals, and quality playtime. Your pet will never be left alone for long periods, and I’ll always stick to the routines they’re used to. I only care for one household at a time to give your pet my full attention and to avoid mixing unfamiliar animals. My goal is to create a calm, safe environment where your dog or cat feels secure, cared for, and stress-free while you’re away.
“Amy did a great job with our dogs. She was super patient, dependable, and easy to trust. It felt good knowing they were in good hands, and she went above what we expected. We’ll definitely use her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a solid sitter.”

“What a superb 1st Rocer!!experience!! The warmth !! The care!! The energy!! Rocky said all of this with his happy face!! Rocky knew he was leaving and reached out to Lana to say thank you! We already love you Lana! We will see you again!!hugs!!!”

About: I’ve always been around dogs since I was born. I currently have a 85 pound lab mix named Bear. I have also been a volunteer at the Montgomery County Animal Shelter for about 3 years where I have over 300 volunteer hours. Through my volunteer work I have gained experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I am very accommodating to each dogs specific needs! I am available 7 days a week to watch your pets, and I don’t mind last minute requests! I have a very flexible schedule, so I can best accommodate your pets needs I’m very active, so I am able to walk pets 1-2 times a day. In addition to this, I have a large fenced in yard. I also have a doggy door that allows them to freely go in and outside (most dogs figure the door out very quickly). I do not allow the dogs on the downstairs furniture, but there are many dog beds all over the house they can use.
About: Hi, I'm a U.S. Air Force veteran with experience working directly with Military Working Dogs, where I helped train and care for dogs in explosive and narcotics detection, obedience, and controlled aggression training. My responsibilities included daily care, administering medications, monitoring health conditions, and providing basic first aid when needed. I've owned dogs my entire life and truly consider them part of the family. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. We have a fully fenced backyard for safe play and exercise, two XXL crates available if needed, and all dogs are fed separately to prevent food-related issues and ensure a stress-free mealtime. Whether your pup needs medication, extra attention, or simply lots of love and playtime, you can feel confident knowing they'll be cared for in a safe, structured, and family-oriented environment while you're away. Home full time. I usually feed twice a day, once in the mornings around 6am and once in the evening around 6pm. After feeding I let them out for a quick restroom break. I keep high activities like running around low for about an hour to keep from any upset stomach issues. Afterward it’s playing catch, walks, hanging out and on nice days outside as much as possible! I have a medium sized fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed. ** I can not accept any dogs with dog on dog aggression or people aggression at this time** I am working on getting a facility designed for aggressive dogs to be in a safe environment protecting themselves and others while you are away. I do believe that every dog is a loved one to someone and deserves a safe place to stay while their owners are away.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
