We have just found out that we weren’t allowed to bring a dog into the Renaissance Fest while visiting for a couple days but I was so anxious about leave my Pebbles at our Airbnb by herself. About: Hi there! I’m Kaleigh, a lifelong animal lover with 20 of experience caring for pets of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. I’m also a nurse—which means safety, attentiveness, and calm under pressure are second nature to me. I’ve rescued all of my pets literally from the street, so helping them heal both physically and emotionally has taught me patience, empathy, and how to meet each animal where they are. Over the years, I’ve cared for pets in all stages of life—from bottle-feeding 3-week-old puppies to providing round-the-clock comfort and medication for beloved senior dogs in their final days. I’ve trained my own animals, managed special diets, and navigated unique quirks. My goal is to keep everyone happy, healthy, and stress-free💛 I love all the animals like my own because it is exactly how I would want my pets to be treated! I'm currently working as a registered nurse, but on my days off, I'm home with my three dogs and cat 🐾 My schedule fluctuates, so please get in touch about a plan, but I can also take same-day requests pending the day. If you’re looking for doggy daycare or overnight stays, my home features a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of shade—perfect for safe play and fresh air. Dogs have access to indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the day and are never left alone for more than 2–3 hours at a time. I’m very mindful of weather conditions, so dogs are never left outside in the heat, but we do have a doggie pool and sprinklers if they like water play ☀️ My home is equipped with kennels, gates, cozy blankets, and a variety of toys to keep your pet comfortable and entertained. For drop-in visits, just let me know your pet’s preferences! I usually walk my dogs for at least 30 minutes daily, and I plan to give your furry friend the same care unless you specify otherwise. I’m also happy to feed and administer medications as needed. Feel free to reach out and share your pet’s needs—I’m happy to accommodate and provide the care your pet deserves!
“Jordan was excellent with my puppy for doggy daycare today. She sent updates throughout the day. He must’ve had a great time because he fell asleep in the car on the way home. She was very friendly. There were no issues or concerns. We would rebook her in the future.”

“Elena was great! I would highly recommend her. Max seemed to be really happy staying with her, and playing with her sweet dog, Ginger. We also enjoyed the great photos she took of Max during his stay.”

“Lacinda, as always, is so fabulous with our boys. They love going to her house and whine in the car because they are so excited to see her. She sends lots of updates and I always know they are safe!”

“Selma watched our puppy, Charli, for both puppy day care and boarding. She is fantastic! Charli was always excited to go to Selma's! Selma is very flexible, and allowed us to drop Charli off early since we go to work very early. During Charli's stay with Selma she always kept us informed of how she was doing and sent us pictures and videos everyday. I could tell, right off the bat, that she truly loves dogs and it showed in her care of Charli. Thanks, Selma! We will definitely bring Charli back the next time!”

About: I’ve always been around dogs since I was born. I currently have a 85 pound lab mix named Bear. I have also been a volunteer at the Montgomery County Animal Shelter for about 3 years where I have over 300 volunteer hours. Through my volunteer work I have gained experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I am very accommodating to each dogs specific needs! I am available 7 days a week to watch your pets, and I don’t mind last minute requests! I have a very flexible schedule, so I can best accommodate your pets needs I’m very active, so I am able to walk pets 1-2 times a day. In addition to this, I have a large fenced in yard. I also have a doggy door that allows them to freely go in and outside (most dogs figure the door out very quickly). I do not allow the dogs on the downstairs furniture, but there are many dog beds all over the house they can use.
“Debra was absolutely amazing watching our two doggos while I was out of town. She constantly sent videos and pictures of the dogs. Our dogs were excited every morning to get dropped off for the day by my husband! Highly recommend Debra!!”

About: Hi, I'm a U.S. Air Force veteran with experience working directly with Military Working Dogs, where I helped train and care for dogs in explosive and narcotics detection, obedience, and controlled aggression training. My responsibilities included daily care, administering medications, monitoring health conditions, and providing basic first aid when needed. I've owned dogs my entire life and truly consider them part of the family. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. We have a fully fenced backyard for safe play and exercise, two XXL crates available if needed, and all dogs are fed separately to prevent food-related issues and ensure a stress-free mealtime. Whether your pup needs medication, extra attention, or simply lots of love and playtime, you can feel confident knowing they'll be cared for in a safe, structured, and family-oriented environment while you're away. Home full time. I usually feed twice a day, once in the mornings around 6am and once in the evening around 6pm. After feeding I let them out for a quick restroom break. I keep high activities like running around low for about an hour to keep from any upset stomach issues. Afterward it’s playing catch, walks, hanging out and on nice days outside as much as possible! I have a medium sized fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed. ** I can not accept any dogs with dog on dog aggression or people aggression at this time** I am working on getting a facility designed for aggressive dogs to be in a safe environment protecting themselves and others while you are away. I do believe that every dog is a loved one to someone and deserves a safe place to stay while their owners are away.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Egypt commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
