“Kristen and Jeff were amazing! They cared for the pets and loved on them as much, if not more, than we would if we were home. I will definitely use them again and will recommend them to everyone!”

About: Dogs have been an important part of my life for many years, and caring for them is something I genuinely enjoy and take seriously. Over the years, I’ve cared for puppies, adult dogs, senior dogs, rescue dogs, and high-energy breeds, each with their own unique personalities and needs. My experience includes fostering puppies, helping rescue and rehabilitate abandoned dogs, administering oral medications, reinforcing training, potty training puppies, and providing attentive day-to-day care through walks, house sitting, and drop-in visits. I have also cared for senior dogs who required extra patience, accommodations, and medication management. One of the things I enjoy most is getting to know each dog’s individual personality. Some dogs need structure and exercise, while others need patience, reassurance, and time to build trust. I adapt my approach to each dog while maintaining the routines and expectations established by their family. I believe great pet care goes beyond feeding and walks. I focus on creating a safe, enriching, and positive experience through structured walks, mental stimulation, play, and plenty of attention. I also provide frequent updates and photos so owners can feel confident and connected while they’re away. My long-term goal is to continue expanding my knowledge of canine behavior and training. Every dog teaches me something new, and I love the opportunity to learn from them while providing the care, consistency, and companionship they deserve. I work from home, which allows me to be flexible and attentive when caring for pets. Because I spend much of my day at home, I’m able to provide regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, companionship, and plenty of supervision. I want to make sure every pet feels comfortable, safe, and loved while maintaining the routine they’re used to at home. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow each pet parent’s instructions and do my best to maintain the routines that help dogs feel secure, comfortable, and relaxed. During walks, I stay fully attentive to the dog(s) and my surroundings. I avoid using my phone unless absolutely necessary, and if I need to check it for something important, we take a short break to ensure the dog’s safety remains my full focus. I also use safe handling practices at all times. For drop-in visits and house sitting, I make sure pets have fresh water, plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, affection, and any medications or special care they may require. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I provide regular updates and photos to help you feel connected and confident while you’re away.
About: Living with four cats means I’m basically fluent in feline! From high speed kitten midnight crazies to grumpy senior side eye, I’ve seen it all. I’m an expert at reading cat moods, mastering the art of the perfect chin scratch, and making sure your kitty gets a safe, fun, and totally customized visit. I'm a stay at home dad with four kitties. They're all different age ranges, my 3 year old daughter included. It's both chaos and a lot of fun! I just looove pet cuddles so much. I love giving belly rubs (if they give their consent). I also just love playing with pets. If they have toys, i can definitely keep them entertained. I always love Tug of War with dogs :)
“Olivia is an exceptional pet care provider. The professionalism she brings is something I have yet to encounter on this app so far. Olivia noticed my male dog had an upset stomach and let him eat some grass, gave him more water, love, and care. She even stayed longer than the planned visit to clean his cage and grate mat, so he had something to lay on when she left. I highly recommend Olivia and will be using her for all future needs!”

“Charlie is so amazing! Charlie comes to walk our dog twice a week and always gives her all the love. Charlie always gives the best updates and takes great pictures. We are so grateful for Charlie!”

“Omg a blessing!!!! I travel for work and my job required me to stay additional hours and she was so nice to accommodate me last minute! Sent great photos of the babies and all ?”

“Meg was fantastic with our dogs! She was very mindful of checking on them and seeing how hot it was outside to make they were getting overheated. Also got so many good pictures on my pets from her visits, will definitely be booking with her the next time I need a pet sitter.”

“Rose took excellent care of my kitty. She was prompt and tidy and followed my very detailed instructions. Everything went great! I would definitely invite Rose to watch the kitty again when needed.”

About: I started dog walking and pet sitting at 18 as a way to pay rent during COVID. Like anyone learning on the job, I made some mistakes in the beginning, but over the past 6 years, I’ve made a complete 180 — gaining valuable knowledge and refining my skills to care for animals the right way. Now at 24 and working toward becoming a veterinarian, this has grown from a job into a true passion. I combine experience, education, and genuine love for animals to provide the best care possible for your furry friends. My schedule varies weekly, so I update my calendar regularly to ensure you can easily book dog walking and sitting services whenever you need it. When walking dogs, I always bring a water dispenser and doggy bags, so you don’t have to worry about a thing. For dog boarding, your dog will feel right at home! Dogs are welcome on the furniture unless you prefer otherwise, following your training guidelines. I provide potty breaks every 2–4 hours and extra walks for energetic pups to burn off energy. Bedtime is at 8 PM, with the last walk of the day to help your dog settle in comfortably.
“Jasmine did great with our two dogs! Bevo and Jenna! Thank you Jasmine for sitting with Jenna while she ate her food! She is super sensitive and you time and patience was appreciated!”

“Amanda is fantastic. All of her updates include a personal touch and she clearly spends quality time with my pup vs just showing up, feeding, and letting her outside. Very comfortable leaving town knowing Amanda is taking care of her.”

About: **PLEASE READ ENTIRE PROFILE BEFORE SENDING A REQUEST.** I have several years of experience owning different breeds of dogs, and about 3 years in the pet boarding/training/grooming industry. Growing up, I often helped neighbors, friends, & family members with caring for their pets when they went out of town. I have also personally owned several dogs & cats over the years. Finally, I worked at a full service doggy daycare from 2016 to 2019 and loved every minute! Below are my requirements for ANY dog to book with me. I have put these in place for your pet’s safety as well as mine & my family’s safety to ensure the best possible stay for everyone! **I DO NOT ACCEPT DOGS WHO ARE NOT COMPLETELY CRATE TRAINED- NO EXCEPTIONS. Your dog MUST be comfortable and RELAXED in a crate for any length of time. They will be crated for mealtimes (30 minutes, twice a day) and overnight from about 10p-7a, as well as any time I need to leave the house. ***PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN CRATE AND BOWL)S)*** I work from home so I do have a good amount of flexibility. While I am home, pets will be getting regular play/exercise time as well as potty breaks every 4-6 hours unless otherwise noted in their Rover profile care instructions (I.e. younger puppies who need to potty more frequently) and depending on the weather. With my knowledge & experience, I am prepared to handle most needs, just let me know what your situation is and we can find a solution! I have a fenced yard and a dedicated space in my house for Rover clients to sleep in their crates, and they’re welcome to hang out in the common areas such as the living room, kitchen, & dining room!
About: I have always been a huge lover of animals and love to care for them. I got my first dog, a Maltipoo named Mollie, when I was 14 and have watched other family members and neighbors pets ever since. I am a very caring and nurturing person who would provide the utmost care for your fur babies. I currently work full time Monday - Friday from 7:30a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Spring / Klein area. I am also a part time online student trying to obtain a teaching degree so, I would be spending a lot of time at home with your babies while working on school work. Weekends are fairly free besides church service on Sundays where I volunteer my time as a Sunday School Teacher from 9:00 a.m. until around 2:00 p.m. I make sure to help the animals feel safe and secure with a new person in their home. I am respectful of the animals boundaries while they get used to me being in their territory. I keep a keen eye on their habits and behavior and adjust mine accordingly. I also respect that many animals are creatures of habit and love to keep to their schedules. I would treat your fur-baby as if he / she were my own, and give the utmost care. I also make sure to respect my clients home by leaving it in sparkling clean shape.

“Jazmine was amazing. One of my cats needs medication twice a day, and Jazmine not only had no problem with the fact that this would have to be done, but she had no issues administering it! I will book her over and over, for as long as she's willing!”

I cannot recommend Emma enough! She took such amazing care of my cats while I was away and gave me complete peace of mind. She was reliable, communicative, attentive, and took the time to treat my cats as her own. I loved getting updates and knowing they were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. She not only cared for them, but also kept their environment clean and safe. I’ll absolutely be booking with her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!!! 🤍

Olivia was super amazing! I never like to write reviews etc. this was my first time using app and services like this-I was so nervous to have a stranger in my home but Olivia definitely made me feel safe and not only took care of my pets but made me have overall peace of mind. Thank you so bery much Olivia you are definitely someone I will always book for my pers. You are awesome!!

Xiaohang did a wonderful job cat sitting our 3 cats for us while we were on vacation. She took plenty of photos and wrote detailed updates everyday. Our cats quickly became comfortable with her presence. Even our cat who is usually very shy around strangers came out to greet her during her visits. Will definitely book her again for next time!

So happy to have found Andrea (and Steven) via Rover! They cared for our cat while we were out of town on a 2 week trip and did a wonderful job. The drop-in visits went like clockwork according to the schedule. Each and every time they sent a detailed report with pictures. Their love for animals was evident as they did special little things like hiding treats around the house for kitty to find if she got bored. It was a huge comfort to have our pet cared for and looked after while we were away. We will definitely be requesting Andrea (and Steven) again in the future and would highly recommend them to others as well.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
