About: I have experience caring for pets through both personal experience and pet sitting for family friends. Recently, I stayed overnight at one of my mom’s friend’s houses while she was away to take care of her three cats. I made sure they were comfortable, kept up with their normal routine, cleaned the litter boxes, fed them, and spent time with them at night so they wouldn’t feel alone. About: I am very patient and playful with all animals. Growing up with many dogs, cats, gerbels, mice, etc learned early how to care and protect our furry family members. As I am now retired from corporate america, I have lots of time to walk and take care of pets. We don’t have a pet currently as we travel so find this service and great way to interact with dogs and cats. Have learned signs and behaviors of pets to avoid conflict. With 13 years of experience in veterinary medicine and over 8 years of professional pet sitting experience, I provide knowledgeable, compassionate care for pets of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. In addition to my veterinary background, I have owned and managed a doggy daycare, boarding, and grooming facility, giving me extensive hands-on experience caring for multiple pets and understanding their unique needs. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop-in visit, overnight care, or extra attention while you’re away, you can rest assured they’re in experienced and loving hands. My veterinary experience allows me to recognize signs of illness or distress, administer medications, and provide specialized care for senior pets and those with medical needs. I am also skilled in providing baths, nail trims, and other basic grooming services thanks to my years of experience in both veterinary medicine and pet care. Whether your pet requires routine medications, extra patience during grooming, or specialized care, I have the knowledge and confidence to ensure they are comfortable and well cared for. Animals are a big part of my life at home as well. I am the proud pet parent of Louis, my 5-year-old Maltipoo, and Queen, my 6-year-old calico cat. Caring for my own pets reminds me every day that our animals are family members who deserve patience, love, and exceptional care. My 14-year-old son shares the same passion for animals that I do and has grown up around pets and veterinary medicine. Together, we make a great team, providing plenty of love, attention, playtime, and companionship for the pets in our care. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. My goal is to provide a safe, stress-free, and loving experience while maintaining your pet’s normal routine. I pride myself on reliable communication, personalized care, and sending plenty of photo updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I am free during the day, so caring for pets daily will come as no issue for me! I'll keep them as close to your schedule as possible, and try to temporarily adjust them to mine. I'll make sure I know the routine, stick to the clients schedule as closely as possible, and make sure to check in with client as often as they would like to ensure quality care.

“Susan and her husband Dale took exceptional care of our two young goldens who are high energy. They took them for long walks/to fetch each morning and allowed them to come in and outside for plenty of play throughout the day. Their home is very welcoming and inviting for both dogs and humans - they were unfazed by our pups jumping on their furniture and had plenty of comfortable places for our dogs to lounge and sleep. Susan was very responsive and sent beautiful photos. Most importantly, our dogs came home relaxed and happy - it was clear to us that Susan provided a stress-free, calm environment for them to thrive while we were away. “Tema was a great host. Very accepting of a last minute request and easy to work with. She sent many pictures and accommodated my being slightly late. Our dog Lucy had a great time and was returned to us very tired. Tema also was very informative about Lucy throughout her stay including how much she was eating and how she was settling in.
