About: I treat every pet like my own, with genuine love, patience, and attention. I take the time to understand each animal’s unique personality so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I have experience with puppies (basic commands, leash manners, crate training, and positive reinforcement) and senior pets, including gentle care and administering medication when needed. Whether it’s playtime, training, or quiet cuddles, I tailor my care to fit each pet’s needs so they feel happy and loved while you’re away. My schedule is very flexible, and I can accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening visits based on your pet’s needs. I’m available for drop-ins, overnight stays, and extended care, including weekends and holidays. I’m easy to work with and happy to adjust scheduling whenever possible. I stay at home so your baby will be rarely left alone. Your pet will be safe and well cared for in my home. I have a fully fenced yard with supervised outdoor time, and two friendly dogs for companionship if your pet is comfortable. At night, your pet can rest in a private room or crate based on your preference, and they’re welcome on furniture if allowed.
“Marissa is amazing! I had a medical emergency and she came through and helped me out while in the hospital. It is apparent that she loves animals and cares! 100% recommend!”

“Chigusa was the best dog sitter we have ever had! This was our first time using Rover and could not say better things about our experience, especially having Chigusa has our sitter. She went above and beyond what we asked of her. We loved the photos and updates she provided while we were out of town. We will absolutely be using Chigusa for all out dog needs going forward.”

“We left for the holidays and Atara was amazing, Not only with our cats but with us as well. Keeping us updated at every visit. “Avani does a great job. My cat is very shy and hides from most people but will come out and say hi to Avani. She takes the time to make sure your pet is as happy as possible while your away.”

About: Hi! 👋 I’m Autumn — a lifelong animal lover 🐶🐱 I’ve grown up caring for both dogs and cats, and over the past 3 years, I’ve spent a lot of time walking, sitting, and spending time with pets I truly care about 🦴💛 I have a sweet dog and a cuddly cat of my own, so I know how important it is to have someone reliable, patient, and kind looking after your furry family members 🐕🐾 Whether it’s playtime, snuggles, walks, or just keeping your pet company while you’re away, I’d love to help 🦮✨ Let me know how I can make your pet feel safe, loved, and right at home ❤️ I have a very open and flexible schedule right now, which makes it easy for me to accommodate pet care throughout the day — whether it’s morning, afternoon, or evening. Whether your dog needs a walk or your cat just needs some company and cuddles, I’m happy to work around your routine and give your pets the attention they deserve. Since I’m not juggling a packed calendar, I can be reliable and consistent, which I know is so important when it comes to caring for your furry family members! 🐶🐱💛 When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to follow their usual routines as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I take time to get to know each pet’s personality, making sure they feel safe and cared for while their owner is away. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, litter box cleanup, or just giving them some attention and company, I handle it all with patience and love. I also make sure to keep the home tidy and respect any specific instructions or preferences the owner provides. 🐾💛

“This is our second time using Cristy to watch our two cats while out of town. Once again she did a great job, sent lots of pictures, was very responsive, and even helped when one of our cats unfortunately puked. She is very communicative and super helpful! Hope to use again in the future.”

About: My last dog was a Corgi/Austrialian Shepard mix. I got her when she was 3 months old as a rescue and we lived together for 16 years. She enjoyed a healthy, happy life. Her last year was a little difficult on her due to age. I was happy to work with her on her diet, medication and exercise. She was the best! Over the years, I have been blessed with several cats in my life. All from kitten age to senior age. Male and Female. I had three at one time and they all got along beautifully with each other. Each was a joy with their own separate personality. Currently, I am blessed with two male ginger cats who are now a little over a year old. I got them when they were 2 months old. I got two because they are brothers and I did not want to split them up. They bring joy to my world each day. I am Retired and have all day and night to devote to your pets. In my home or in yours. Which ever is best for you. I have a large fenced-in back yard perfect for any puppy/dog to explore or play in. My home is pet-friendly. I have been a pet owner for many, many years and have enjoyed each and every one.

“Shelby is great - she was able to come over on short notice to watch my cat while I was out of town, and sent lots of pictures each time to keep me updated. Thank you for taking great care of my kitty!”

“Our 1st Rover use has been such a wonderful pleasure because of Charde! She did everything we requested and even sent photos to ensure our pups were happy and playing and accommodating to our schedules. We had our pet camera setup and was able to see all the visits that were made and Charde was really respectful to our home and very loving to our dogs. We look forward to booking her services again.”

Atara was a 10/10 sitter! She was very flexible with our last minute request. She asked all the right questions before caring for our senior dog who requires a little extra love. She updated us throughout the time we were gone. Will use her again! And highly recommend (:

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
