“Sergey was fantastic with Bentley! He followed all of my care instructions, kept me updated with photos, and really went the extra mile by spending extra time playing fetch with him, which Bentley absolutely loved. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in such great hands. You can tell he has such a soft spot for animals and really knows how to connect with dogs easily. I would definitely book with Sergey again and highly recommend him! Thanks so much!”

“Meihua did daily drop-ins for my two cats at short notice over the holidays, and the peace of mind she gave me made the holiday even better. They were visibly happy to be around her when she dropped in, and I found them happy and well cared for on return. Highly recommend her to anyone!”

About: Hello there! I had my dog, Indy, for 12 years. I've pet-sat dogs and cats before. I also worked at a boarding facility from 2023-2025, where I have experience with dogs, cats, and rabbits. I currently have a very open schedule, so I am available! Usually I do 3 visits a day, more if needed. I am able to accommodate whatever your pet needs. Your pets are a responsibility I take very seriously! I always make sure they are safe, happy, and cared for. When I go to your house, I first make sure that the pets are alright, and then I take them out (depending on the pet). I always make sure to feed and play with them before I go!
About: At the young age of 10 I started gaining experience in dog sitting, daycare, and taking animals on walks. I know the importance of communicating with pet parents as well my experience of ensuring animal safety, going to the vet, and specific diets. My sister has a pet business and I worked with her for a long time to gain more knowledge and experience hands on. I have a lot of experience with different sizes and breeds of dogs including grooming or pet-handling. Currently I am in school for drone operations and have a good amount of time to watch, love on, and enjoy taking care of your fur baby💗 For my clients no matter the service I provide photo and video updates, knowing how it feels to leave my furbaby with another person than me or my fiancé. I also keep my phone nearby so that I am able to quickly respond to any text or calls I may receive.
About: I am a highly experienced animal caregiver with a lifetime of hands-on experience managing large, multi-pet households and farm dogs. I am well-versed in the daily routines of dogs and cats of all ages, from maintaining clean environments to managing complex group dynamics and behavioral interactions. Having grown up caring for a large pack, I am confident in my ability to handle any situation with a calm, steady hand and provide reliable, attentive care for your pets. I’m currently unemployed over the summer. I’m planning on going back to school for the fall and going into the police academy in February when I turn 20.5 I have a fenced in back yard so my animals go outside there. I’ve also lived in an apartment in college station with my own dog so I know how to walk and handle dogs in an apartment setting as well.
About: Certified Veterinary Assistant with volunteer veterinary clinic experience. I am currently working at a dog boarding facility, providing attentive, compassionate, and knowledgeable care for pets My schedule is flexible, and I’m available throughout the day. I can typically visit 2–3 times daily for walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship, but not overnight stays. I can provide attentive, compassionate care by following routines, ensuring fresh food and water, administering medications if needed, exercising pets, and giving plenty of affection.
“Kahea provided excellent care to our cats! She administered medications, kept food and water filled, and cleaned the litter boxes. She gave very detailed updates and ensured our cats were cared for and comfortable!”

“Our pets loved Leah! We wanted someone with experience with large breeds since we have a giant schnauzer and she was able to handle him just fine. She is very communicative and friendly!”

“Alexis was SO easy to work with — she asked all the right questions and every day she checked on my boys, I felt so at ease. Anxiety about leaving your pups? Alexis has your back with thorough notes and LOTS of photos. Thank you, Alexis!”

Cheryl was an amazing pet sitter. She went above and beyond to ensure our Dog and Cats were taken care of and loved. She regularly updated us and sent us photos so we could enjoy our vacation with peace of mind. Than you Cheryl, for doing what you do, and with as much care as you do!
Madelyn was an amazing sitter and surpassed my expectations as a first time Rover user. She accommodated my last minute arrangements and tended to Milo’s medical (and emotional) needs with each visit and kept us in constant contact on how he was doing to ensure us he was doing well. I can’t recommend Madelyn enough if you ever need a sitter.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cypress. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
