“Ive been having great experiences with Corina during her drop-in visit with my dog, Gunner. She were punctual, friendly, and gave Gunner lots of attention and care. I appreciated the detailed updates and professional photo shots—it was clear that he was happy and well cared for. Corina followed all my instructions and went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. I’d definitely book again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable pet care!”

“Rachel has been absolutely amazing. She’s very attentive, caring, and a very quick responder. My girls were taken care of and loved and she played with them too❤️ my girls are usually nervous around new people but they seemed to really vibe with Rachel. I HIGHLY recommend her. I will definitely be rebooking her. This was our first time hiring a cat sitter for our girls and Rachel did not disappoint us. Truly happy with her services!”

“Atara was a 10/10 sitter! She was very flexible with our last minute request. She asked all the right questions before caring for our senior dog who requires a little extra love. She updated us throughout the time we were gone. Will use her again! And highly recommend (:”

“I’ve booked check- ins with Valeria twice now and she’s just wonderful. She treats our 2 pups with so much care and always makes sure to clean up after them if they have accidents.”

“Staci was awesome. I have very anxious babies who are not great with strangers.. Staci was patient and took the time to bond with them and they let her be part of the pack. Will definitely use her again..”

“Cristy was great! We had a sitter drop out last minute and Cristy came in and saved the day! She was quick to respond, sent lots of pictures, and kept me updated if anything happened with our cats or if she had any questions. Would highly recommend her for any of your pets need and will totally look to her for future care of our kitties! 😊”

“Yen was responsive right away to my cat sitter request. It was for almost 2 weeks of daily drop ins, which is a lot! She communicated clearly through the whole booking and took great care of my two elderly cats. I’m so grateful and I will definitely rebook with her again!”

“Samantha took excellent care of my kitty cat. Even the stray cat that I asked her to feed was taken care of. My cat was happy when I got home and the kitchen was also clean. (I asked her to rinse the cans of cat food after they were done.)”

About: Hi! 👋 I’m Autumn — a lifelong animal lover 🐶🐱 I’ve grown up caring for both dogs and cats, and over the past 3 years, I’ve spent a lot of time walking, sitting, and spending time with pets I truly care about 🦴💛 I have a sweet dog and a cuddly cat of my own, so I know how important it is to have someone reliable, patient, and kind looking after your furry family members 🐕🐾 Whether it’s playtime, snuggles, walks, or just keeping your pet company while you’re away, I’d love to help 🦮✨ Let me know how I can make your pet feel safe, loved, and right at home ❤️ I have a very open and flexible schedule right now, which makes it easy for me to accommodate pet care throughout the day — whether it’s morning, afternoon, or evening. Whether your dog needs a walk or your cat just needs some company and cuddles, I’m happy to work around your routine and give your pets the attention they deserve. Since I’m not juggling a packed calendar, I can be reliable and consistent, which I know is so important when it comes to caring for your furry family members! 🐶🐱💛 When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to follow their usual routines as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I take time to get to know each pet’s personality, making sure they feel safe and cared for while their owner is away. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, litter box cleanup, or just giving them some attention and company, I handle it all with patience and love. I also make sure to keep the home tidy and respect any specific instructions or preferences the owner provides. 🐾💛
About: Hello I’m Anya I have experienced taking care of medium to large dogs. I’ve taken care of elderly dogs, puppies and really new aged dog. I like to give owners daily updates of behavior and activities. I currently work part-time at a senior living facility I’m gone from morning to midday but usually I’m off work at 3 o’clock. I usually keep doors shut in the house. I follow the owners rules to a T. I’ll make sure your pet has water in their bowl before I leave and when I get back. Good
“Gina was fantastic with caring for our senior dog while we were away! She followed all feeding and walking instructions, and gave us prompt updates each time she dropped in. Will definitely book with her again to watch our pup!”

About: I have dog and cat sat for family and friends years. I also worked part time at a kennel/doggie daycare in the past, where I took care of pets professionally. I am a university student who is taking a gap year. I have a part time job working from 5pm-9pm on weekdays, and 8:30am-2:30pm on Saturdays. Other than this, I have no other time based restrictions. I make sure to supervise dogs at all times when they are outdoors. I keep an eye on them to make sure they don’t overheat or get into things they aren’t supposed to. If there is not a fenced in area for them, I keep them on a leash at all times when outdoors. I make sure all pets always have access to water and are fed on time. I make sure cats do not go outside unless the owner requests it. Because of the training a received when I worked at a kennel, I understand cat and dog body language and how to respond appropriately. I also know signs of critical and non-critical stress to look out for and use my best judgment to know if they need veterinary attention.
About: I have had my baby Dakota for 5 years, ever since she was a pup! I have seen all stages and loved her through them all. I would love to provide that same love to your baby when you are not around! :) I work a 9-5. I will care for your pet in the morning before I leave and as soon as i return home. Then take them to the park to have a fun time and socialize. I live in an apartment, however, it is pet friendly and I will take the dogs to the park to play. I will crate the dog if needed, only if you are crate training or inform me to do so.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Jersey Village. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
