“It was our 4th time having Thuy watch our dog and each time is a great experience! She makes sure the dogs have time alone to eat and updates us very often on her instagram page. My dog isn’t good with bigger dogs since he’s smaller so she makes sure to group play time with the smaller dogs for him. He has some upset stomach due to stress being away from home and she took care of him! We wanted to bathe him when we got home like we do every time she watches him because he rolls in the dirt in her yard, but she wiped him as much as she could when he was covered in some of his diarrhea from stress. She always answers our questions in a timely manner and definitely makes this anxious dog mom feel at ease while on vacation! :)”
“Mary Lou is fantastic. Joey is an adopted rescue from a hoarding situation. He didn't know how to be a dog. In the 15 months we have had he developed a "velcro" attachment to my wife. He was on separation anxiety meds for about a year and has been off them for a couple of months. This is the first time we have left him more than a few hours. My wife was having surgery and we had to do something. We both consider Mary Lou Joey’s angel. She sent photos/videos several times while he was there. “Midget has stayed with sitters before but this is the first time he didn't really miss me. I love to see his tail wag at the sight of me but more so, I'm so happy that he enjoyed his stayed Casaundria so much the separation anxiety was not an issue. Casaundria is fantastic, she took extra care of my baby. When she realized he was eating his food, she cooked him a meal that was gentle on his tummy hand fed him until he was comfortable enough to eat on his own. I can't speak for all dog parents but mainly we just want our babies alive when we return, but to have someone treat your fur baby with so much love and care is rare. You'd be a fool to pass her up!!!”

The dog, who is now a daily regular of mine, that started my interest in providing services for more pets, started out terrified of me; she was so unsure, she wouldn't even come back inside the house for me from the backyard. I learned quickly not to push or rush her, just give her space, consistency, and a calm presence. Now she runs to greet me, wiggling and whacking everything with that happy tail like we are the bestest of friends (Anxiety meds did help but now she doesnt even need em). “Oh my gosh—Zasio just got back from his day with Purnell and he had an absolute blast. She took him to the beach and sent tons of videos and pictures of him living his best life. Meanwhile, I was at home dealing with a flat tire and this little guy was basically on vacation 😂 I 1,000,000,000,000% recommend Purnell. She’s the best. She doesn’t just watch your dog—she treats them like family. On a side note, I love that Purnell is so close to me—literally just down the road. And I have to share this because it says everything: I was out walking Zasio on the opposite side of the neighborhood (not even near her street), and he dragged me across the street, went straight to her house, and sat in her driveway. We actually got lucky and saw her just as she was pulling out, and he was SO happy to see her. Afterward, I literally had to carry him out of sight because he refused to walk away and kept looking back at her house 🥹 He absolutely adores her—and I can tell she genuinely loves him too.”

About: Growing up with dogs, I learned early on that they are family. Over the years, I’ve cared for a variety of breeds, including Golden Labs, German Shepherds, Dalmatians, Shih Tzus, Maltese, and my late sweet Zuki, a Maltese/Shih Tzu mix. About: I am a dog mom to a spoiled Chihuahua and playful Pomeranian. Both of my dogs are friendly and fixed. My Chihuahua has been with me for 11 years and has lived in multiple homes with other dogs, in college she lived with 3 other dogs then in my last home there were 4 total dogs. My Pomeranian is a Covid baby and loves playing with other pups. I work from home so my dogs get freedom all day long and a minimum of 4 daily walks. I prefer dogs that are leash trained because we do daily walks but if your dog prefers being in a backyard rest at ease I have a fenced backyard and can take a chair out and let them have outdoor time. My home is two-story so if your dog struggles with stairs please let me know. My dog’s bedroom is downstairs but my office is upstairs so they usually follow me up when I work. I work from home and take my dogs on a morning walk, 1 before lunch, 1 before dinner, 1 after dinner and their final walk before bed. My dogs are both leash trained. My backyard is fenced but there is a loud dog that lives behind me, he isn’t large enough to damage the fence he and my Chihuahua just bark back and forth.

About: I adopted my dog in 2014 and have been his primary caretaker since he was a puppy. He is now a senior dog, and I know how important it is to make sure his medications are taken daily and that he is watched constantly for his safety and care. I have a genuine love for pets and understand that each one is precious. I am responsible, attentive, and committed to providing proper care, including feeding, companionship, and exercise. My goal is to prioritize your pet’s wellbeing while they are in my care and to create a safe and happy environment for them. I’m working full time and would appreciate being notified ahead of time. Otherwise, I am home for the most part. If I do need to step out of the house during a stay, I have multiple family members who have previously helped me with taking care of pets. My weekends can be free, if given notice ahead of time! The safety of pets is my number one priority. A mistake can happen at any time and that is why I always make sure to pay attention to the pet and their surroundings. I watch my senior dog often as he has a disease that causes increased thirst and urination, while also making time to take him on walks so he can enjoy the outside environment.

About: I have been pet sitting since I was 11 years old (for dogs, cats, and reptiles) and have owned all types of animals from dogs, rodents, fish, reptiles, and amphibians! I have taken care of many senior dogs and have one of my own, so rest assured they will be taken care of with love! I love every kind of animal and want to share that love with your pets! “It was our 4th time having Thuy watch our dog and each time is a great experience! She makes sure the dogs have time alone to eat and updates us very often on her instagram page. My dog isn’t good with bigger dogs since he’s smaller so she makes sure to group play time with the smaller dogs for him. He has some upset stomach due to stress being away from home and she took care of him! We wanted to bathe him when we got home like we do every time she watches him because he rolls in the dirt in her yard, but she wiped him as much as she could when he was covered in some of his diarrhea from stress. “Mary Lou is fantastic. Joey is an adopted rescue from a hoarding situation. He didn't know how to be a dog. In the 15 months we have had he developed a "velcro" attachment to my wife. He was on separation anxiety meds for about a year and has been off them for a couple of months. This is the first time we have left him more than a few hours. My wife was having surgery and we had to do something. We both consider Mary Lou Joey’s angel. She sent photos/videos several times while he was there.
