“Sabrina did an amazing job with walking my pup! She was very responsive and provided updates and pictures during the walks! She happily accommodated a change in days and helped make sure my pup was happy and safe during walks after I communicated a minor injury he had. Thank you Sabrina, I would definitely recommend her services!”

About: I’ve been talking care of my own little dog for over 6 years and would also like to give your little one(s) the same attention, care and playfulness I give to mine. I’m currently staying home looking after my baby and will have plenty of time to give your baby all the attention and play inside or outside. I have a fenced backyard and a little one to keep your little one company. I can also keep your little one kenneled if it is preferable.
“Isabel is a wonderful dog walker. She has been coming by once a week for a few months to let my dog Benjamin out and take him for a stroll while we are at work. I love seeing Bennie get so excited to see her on camera when she comes in to let them out. She also is very communicative and lets me know when she’s on her way. Thank you for loving and caring for my baby! You’re the best!”

“I’m watching my son’s big dog, the walks he deserves were taking a physical toll, until I signed up here and Alanna started walking him, it really helps MY day. He looks forward to his walk, watching the clock semi patiently, for his daily walk, it’s his favorite time of day and he really enjoys Alanna taking him out for a more brisk walk than I am capable of. She does a great job with him, and he is very happy with their time together.”

“Excellent tentativeness to my dog and adjustment to his strength and walking patterns. I would love to keep them on my payroll a few times a week if possible thank you again y’all stay blessed.”
About: I have been a dog lover, owner, foster and sitter for several years. Dogs are such sweet and innocent animals, their individual personalities are so cute and can be so funny. They are so smart, I just enjoy them and being around them. I work from home and take care of my own dogs, I have three. I have a large fully fenced backyard and am a recent empty nester. So time, I have! Haha I work from home, dogs are allowed on furniture and roam while working. Potty breaks are every two hours, and play time is pretty much all day! Bedtime is kennel time till the morning. Feeding will be based on individual needs.

“Christy did a fantastic job coming over to my place to walk Luka when I was at the office. She kept me informed on everything in they did and all. Would absolutely recommend her to anyone!”

“She was incredibly sweet and so informative during our walk with Hercules. I appreciated how eager she was to engage and ask thoughtful questions—some I hadn’t even considered myself! Her energy and care truly stood out. Thank you!”

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and genuinely enjoy caring for them. I grew up with a Labrador Retriever named Huckleberry and currently have an 8-year-old terrier named Barkley, whom I’ve cared for since he was a puppy. I also regularly help look after my grandparents’ dogs, giving me experience with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. In addition to dogs, I’ve spent time caring for cats through my college’s cat club at UT Austin and have had a black cat of my own for the past two years. Through these experiences, I’ve become comfortable feeding, playing with, supervising, and caring for both cats and dogs. Friends and family describe me as dependable, patient, and attentive with animals. As a college student with a flexible schedule, I have plenty of time to give your pets the attention and care they deserve. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, drop-in visits, or simply keeping your pet company, I’m committed to making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I always follow each owner’s instructions closely and do my best to maintain your pet’s normal routine. My goal is to provide a calm, reliable, and positive experience for both you and your pet. As a college student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to caring for pets. I’m available most afternoons, evenings, and weekends for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I understand how important consistency is for pets, and I do my best to follow their normal routine so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, and household rules. Whether caring for your pet in your home or during a visit, I strive to create a calm, safe, and positive environment. I know that every pet is unique, and I’ll make sure they receive the attention, patience, and care they deserve while you’re away.
About: I LOVE all animals and have cared for dogs, cats, hamsters and such. I have walked my neighbors and friends dogs. Taken care of cats and owned them as well. I have had them spend the night a time or two, but mainly check-ins and walks. Whatever is needed for them. I’m easy going and will take care of your family member too! I am retired, empty nester and have so much love to give to any fury Friend. I can’t imagine a day without an animal in it. They have unconditional love and so do I. I have a fenced in yard. I do have a 13 year old golden retriever who loves everyone and is a member of our family. If your pet gets along with other animals, it will be the play date he or she will never forget!
About: Pet sitting, dog walking, and administering medication to senior dogs or reptiles is nothing new to me! While I’ve only been professionally pet sitting for a few years, I’ve cared for everything from dogs to birds to arachnids for more than 7 years. My love for animals extends beyond a leash and a few “good boy”s! Having a pet by your side is a true blessing, and an absolute privilege to have. When your pet is booked with me, I will ensure to provide the utmost care and respect to you and your pet/s and give them the time they deserve. No rushing, no half-assing, and no “easy money” from me. My promise to you: your pet will be loved and cared like no other! Im able to pet sit, walk, or drop in Monday through Sunday from 8am - 6pm! Although if needed, we can discuss specific scheduling, depending on service! Three day limit on pet sitting, but if needed may also be discussed. When visiting the owners home, I stay within the boundaries of the owner and the pet. I only do what is necessary and what will keep the client and the pet the happiest they can be! Unable to board pets, unless they are in an enclosure( bird, reptile ) due to one of my own dogs reactivity to other adult dogs when on personal property.
About: I am a dog mom to a spoiled Chihuahua and playful Pomeranian. Both of my dogs are friendly and fixed. My Chihuahua has been with me for 11 years and has lived in multiple homes with other dogs, in college she lived with 3 other dogs then in my last home there were 4 total dogs. My Pomeranian is a Covid baby and loves playing with other pups. I work from home so my dogs get freedom all day long and a minimum of 4 daily walks. I prefer dogs that are leash trained because we do daily walks but if your dog prefers being in a backyard rest at ease I have a fenced backyard and can take a chair out and let them have outdoor time. My home is two-story so if your dog struggles with stairs please let me know. My dog’s bedroom is downstairs but my office is upstairs so they usually follow me up when I work. I work from home and take my dogs on a morning walk, 1 before lunch, 1 before dinner, 1 after dinner and their final walk before bed. My dogs are both leash trained. My backyard is fenced but there is a loud dog that lives behind me, he isn’t large enough to damage the fence he and my Chihuahua just bark back and forth.
“Thank you Daisy for saving the day and taking care of my dog at short notice. She was kind and prompt with responses and took great care of Darla. Will book again 😊”

About: I adopted my dog in 2014 and have been his primary caretaker since he was a puppy. He is now a senior dog, and I know how important it is to make sure his medications are taken daily and that he is watched constantly for his safety and care. I have a genuine love for pets and understand that each one is precious. I am responsible, attentive, and committed to providing proper care, including feeding, companionship, and exercise. My goal is to prioritize your pet’s wellbeing while they are in my care and to create a safe and happy environment for them. I’m working full time and would appreciate being notified ahead of time. Otherwise, I am home for the most part. If I do need to step out of the house during a stay, I have multiple family members who have previously helped me with taking care of pets. My weekends can be free, if given notice ahead of time! The safety of pets is my number one priority. A mistake can happen at any time and that is why I always make sure to pay attention to the pet and their surroundings. I watch my senior dog often as he has a disease that causes increased thirst and urination, while also making time to take him on walks so he can enjoy the outside environment.
“Gina is absolutely incredible! She walked our sweet senior pup up until he passed and she was more than just a rover walker to him and to us. She was kind and genuine in the moments that matter most. If you are looking for someone to care for your fur baby, you have found them in Gina!”

Dolly has been our main pet sitter for many trips now. We had a big trip to Japan planned for the holidays and were going to be out for 2 weeks. She not only took care of our babies for that long, but continued to provide the excellent service she always has. Always thorough and considerate of our pets, she still remains an excellent pet sitter and will remain our families primary option for pet care. Can't recommend enough!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
