About: Hi, I’m Mari! 🐾 I’m a lifelong animal lover and proud fur mom to one very loved pup and two spoiled kitties. Caring for animals has been a huge part of my life for more than 15 years. Over the years, I’ve cared for the pets of neighbors, family, friends, and coworkers, and I’m excited to finally bring that experience to Rover and connect with even more pet parents and their furry family members. I’ve had the privilege of caring for dogs and cats at every stage of life, from young puppies and kittens to senior pets. I’ve raised my own dog, Lennox, since he was just two months old, and I’ve had my youngest kitten since he was two months old as well. I’ve also cared for several beloved family pets well into their senior years, including pets 12+ years old who required medications, specific routines, and a little extra attention. I understand how important it is to follow a pet’s routine exactly as their parents have established it, especially when it comes to feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and other individual needs. As a pet parent myself, I know that every animal has their own personality, quirks, routines, and specific needs. I’m naturally very attentive and detail-oriented when it comes to my own pets, and I bring that same level of care to every animal I look after. I also have experience with medium-sized breeds and dogs who may be reactive, nervous, or need a little extra patience and understanding. I know that not every pet is comfortable with the same things, and I’m happy to take the time to learn what makes each individual pet feel safe and comfortable. One of the things I pride myself on most is communication. I know how difficult it can be to leave your babies with someone else, so I want you to feel just as comfortable and informed as your pet is. I love sending regular updates, pictures, and little check-ins throughout the day so you never have to wonder how your furry family member is doing. I’m also happy to follow detailed instructions and routines because I understand that consistency is important for pets. I’m currently a Civil Engineer going through a career change, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability. I’m happy to work with busy schedules and do my best to accommodate the needs of both you and your pet. I’m also currently working toward obtaining my Pet CPR certification because I want to be as prepared and knowledgeable as possible should an emergency ever arise. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities, and I’m always happy to provide any additional information, references, or details that would help you feel comfortable choosing me to care for your pet. At the end of the day, I know how much our pets mean to us because mine mean the world to me. My goal is to give your pets the same patience, attention, affection, and care that I would want someone to give mine. ❤️🐶🐱 Pet care fits really naturally into my schedule right now. I’m currently in a flexible stage of my career as I transition out of civil engineering, which allows me to have more control over my time and availability. Because of that, I’m able to plan my days around pet care visits, walks, feedings, and check-ins without feeling rushed or overbooked. I’m happy to adjust my routine to match your pet’s normal schedule as closely as possible. Whether it’s early potty breaks, consistent feeding times, or evening walks and cuddle time, I can be there when your pet needs me most. Since I’m not tied to a strict 9–5 work schedule, I also have the flexibility to accommodate last-minute requests when possible and provide reliable care during weekdays, weekends, and some holidays. I make it a priority to only take on bookings that I can fully commit to, so your pet always gets my full attention and care. At the end of the day, I can structure my schedule around the pets I’m caring for, because making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and consistent in their routine is my top priority. 🐾 I currently provide care in my clients’ homes so their pets can remain in the environment they already know and feel comfortable in. I’m happy to follow their established routines, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication, crating, bedtime routines, and puppy potty schedules. I also have experience with puppy training and can help reinforce consistent potty-training routines while you’re away. I’m very attentive to safety and will make sure doors, gates, crates, and other areas are properly secured, especially when entering or leaving the home. I’ll take the time to understand each pet’s personality, triggers, and boundaries so I can provide care that is safe and comfortable for them. I’m happy to follow detailed instructions and adjust to whatever routine works best for each pet. My goal is to keep their day as consistent as possible while giving their parents peace of mind through regular updates and communication.

About: I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats since I was 5 years old. I have had both dogs and cats throughout my childhood and into adulthood. I even take care of the stray dogs and cats in my neighborhood. I homeschool my kids and we attend an in person homeschool co-op on Mondays that I tutor at so I would be available Tuesdays through Saturdays, unless we’re on vacation, which is rare but does happen. As of right now, my girls and I would love to walk, feed, and play with your pet(s). We did have a Siberian Husky about 3 years ago and he was such a good dog and my girls and I loved him but sadly he has moved on. Since I do have 2 daughters that would be with me, they love petting gently, hugging, running with them and being chased by them and basically being motherly towards your fur babies.

About: My husband and I are loving dog parents, and we’re so excited to care for your pets! We have a friendly 2-year-old Corgi who loves making new friends. Our top priority is ensuring your pets feel safe, happy, and right at home, so we are more than happy to accommodate any special requests. You can also count on us for daily updates and photos so you always know how they’re doing. My current schedule allows me to be at home for most of the day, which means your pet will not have several hours being by themselves without a potty break. We live in a single home with lots of space for your dogs to walk around while they are inside. Our furnitures are standards and with no hazards. We also have a fenced backyard where your dogs can safely be running and playing with my pup.

I spent years walking him, feeding him, playing with him, and giving him lots of love. He taught me so much about caring for dogs and understanding their different personalities. I also have a dog of my own, a 100-pound Doberman named Ozzy, who I love like my son. About: I’ve had experience with all animals big and small. From house sitting to managing a pet kennel at my previous job, I strive to connect with owners and their pets to ensure everyone feels safe and happy. I’m available to take care of your pets anytime, whether it be for walks, short potty breaks, or longer hours. I’m able to stay and play at your house or bring your pet to mine. I have two sweet doodles, three cats, and lots of land for pets that need to run. I understand that each animals needs are different and I would be able to provide a hype or chill environment depending on those needs.

About: I'm a nurturing, detail oriented sitter. Your cat or dog will be happy and healthy during their stay or visit with me. I will re-create your pet's normal environment to the best of my ability to keep them calm and at ease. I currently work from home, so boarding is an option through the week and/or weekend. For dog walks only, I am available evenings after 6pm. I can help care for your pet in your home, and do any house sitting tasks as an added bonus! Safety is important to me, so please leave detailed instructions about your home. My clients comment on how much they trust their pups or feline friends with me!

About: I am eager to meet your fur baby(ies) and have lots of love and attention to shower on them. I am a trained pet care giver and volunteer at a local area pet shelter. I am a widow with three grown children, happily semi-retired, I enjoy the outdoors and nature walks, and I'm an active church member. I am a para sub teacher aide in Katy ISD. I have had dogs and cats that are now happily waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge. I especially enjoy all varieties of terriers and cats. My goal is to offer your family pet(s) love and kindness in every way. (I do not care for reptiles or amphibians yet will happily sprinkle food into a fish tank.) I make short visits to walk your pets or care for your animals for an hour or more. I can also visit your pets twice a day. My schedule is flexible. That can be discussed during our meet and greet or via phone call. We can communicate by face-to-face meet and greet prior the booking, there is a great video chat feature in the app. Please contact me by phone and we can discuss my care of your pets.
