About: Hi! My name is Michellee and I am a 4th grade teacher in the Houston Heights! Growing up I was always surrounded by cats and dogs but I mostly grew up caring for dogs. When l lived at my in laws I helped care for two puppers Luna, our energetic and super lovey dovey chihuahua and Misu (a rescue), the independent and energetic terrier mix. Through my experience with our pups and as a current teacher of super active children I am an energetic, observant, and patient person. I love to go for runs and walks so no matter how active the pup, they'll love taking a stroll in the park with me. If your pup has any special accommodations, I'm flexible to work with whatever you need. Due to my occupation my preferred method of contact from 7am-3pm is text messaging. After those times You can contact me via call. I look forward to working with you and your furbaby!

I booked Tania O for a 30‑minute walk for my 4‑year‑old, 27 lb. cocker spaniel–poodle mix, and she was fantastic from start to finish. This was his first walk with anyone outside of me and my daughter since we adopted him as a rescue, so I was a bit nervous, but her communication quickly put me at ease. Tania was very responsive over text before, during, and after the walk, and sent multiple photos and videos so I could see how he was doing. She also provided the updates I requested on his temperament and behavior, which really helped me see that he was comfortable with a new person. After the walk, she noted that he went straight to his water bowl and seemed a bit hot, which I really appreciated because it helped me keep an eye on his hydration and overall well‑being. It’s clear she pays attention to details and truly cares about her dogs’ safety and comfort. I highly recommend Tania O, especially if you have a rescue or a dog who is new to being walked by someone outside the family. I will definitely be booking with her again on Rover

About: Hi, thanks for checking out my profile! I began my petsitting experience up in Northern Colorado 6 years ago all through college. I'm new to Richmond, but I'm excited to meet new furry friends! I have many references and am very comfortable with getting to know the unique personalized care you give your pets so that they can feel just as comfortable with me as they do with you. I cannot confirm my availability for more than 2 months out since life happens and my availability can change, so please keep that in mind when sending a request. Check out my calendar for my current availability. I care for pets as if they were my own and I am very aware and respectful of the lengths pets can be alone for per the parent's request. I keep homes the same way you leave them, bring in the mail and packages, water plants, and most importantly I ensure all doors to the home are locked and secure each time I visit and/or stay the night. Your pet's safety is my top priority when I'm with them. Please let me know any information I may need to help keep them safe and healthy while you're away.

I can provide regular updates and photos to reassure you that your pet is in good hands! My daily routine revolves around ensuring your pet's happiness and well-being. About: Hi there, welcome to my page! Its such a pleasure to have the opportunity to work with you and get to know you and your pets! About me: I grew up with animals since I was a child and know the ins and outs of the needs and wants of every dog and cat. I have a dog of my own named Buttercup, Ive had her since she was a puppy. Not only that, i also have experience caring for a litter of puppies, rescued stray kittens and nursed them back to health until I found them a new home! I worked previously in a doggy daycare as a manager at a small business. I have knowledge of understanding a pet's body language, how to handle animals, recognizing bad behavior and approaching them with care. I can easily follow detailed routine, have experience with grooming, gland expressions, and no problem with cleaning up after them. Be assured that my top priority for all pets is their health and safety, and will look forward to meeting you and your fur babies! If you have any questions please feel free to ask. I take care of my dog every day. I can easily fulfill their needs before and after work so it wouldn't be a problem with scheduling! I have alot of free time and would love to spend it with the pets! My home is fenced in with a good sized backyard to play and run around in! You're welcome to come have a tour for a meet and greet or ask for pictures. I have one small fur baby who would get along with other people's dog. She would love to play and keep your fur baby company. However they do need to be gentle and friendly since she's small and a little shy, but she'll warm up eventually. I can do drop ins to check in on the pets or dog sit and make sure they have food and water and take them on walks and do play time or snuggle! And I'll throw in a bonus to pick up any messes left behind and help tidy up the house a little bit upon the request of the owner!

About: My focus has been on pet sitting and house sitting for the last 5 years. I've had a passion for animals since I was very young and started caring for pets at an early age and that passion has grown over the years, becoming my full time mission. I have experience caring for dogs, cats and birds. I’ve cared for very young and active dogs as well as older, calmer dogs and cats as old as 18 years old. It's very important to me to work hard to make sure the animals I've been entrusted to care for are as happy and healthy as possible. Pet sitting is my full time focus. The pets I care for take full priority in my day and that gives me flexibility to work with the needs of each animal and I can often accommodate last minute bookings. The safety and security of your home are very important to me. Your home will be locked up and maintained exactly as you request and your pet will be comfortable and safe almost as if you've never left.

About: I always make sure to go by the rules & routine of the owners when it comes to feedings, walks, medications, etc. If I have any questions or concerns, I contact them directly. I have taken care of many dogs & cats ranging from a variety of my friends/family members and a few neighbors. My favorite part is cuddling and/or playing with them because that just brings me joy. My job is pretty flexible, so I’ll be able to take a dog on a walk or feed any dogs or cats mid day. In my home, my cat has an area of his food & water as well as a separate area for his litter box. His sleeping area varies because he’s our spoiled boy. I make sure that if the pet makes any kind of mess that I clean it up right away with any cleaning supplies that are available and wash laundry if needed.

About: I love hanging out with dogs, it’s relaxing for me and I just love them, that’s why I’m doing Rover in the first place! The extra money helps but what’s really important to me is the well being for your loved one. I feel like I can understand dogs on a deep level and I can teach them good dog manners. I have always loved all kinds of animals since I was a kid, they’re just so funny and sweet! I feel like I can be myself around animals more than people sometimes. Sometimes I wonder if I’m a dog in a human body haha. Anyway I can guarantee you won’t regret it if you give me a chance to hang out with your buddy!

  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
