About: I’ve spent the at least 10 years caring for dogs of all ages, from tiny puppies learning the ropes to seasoned seniors who just want a cozy nap and some love. I've rescued a few puppers and ended up keeping 2! I’ve helped with basic training, puppy routines, and plenty of playtime in between! I treat every pup like my own — with patience, affection, and lots of belly rubs. Whether it’s walks, cuddles, or keeping up with training, your dog will feel right at home. (Currently a dog mom to 1, 8 year old lab mix rescue). Currently working from home with a very flexible schedule! 7am-5pm I may have a few meetings with tons of breaks. About: I'm a very fun and courageous person who enjoys going for walks and exploring outdoors. I can make your dog love me, just give me 5 minutes and I’m your dogs new best friend. I am a wonderful listener, so just tell me what you need me to do and everything will be purrfect. Having 2+ years experience at a dog daycare center in the past, I am skilled to manage the highs and lows with all pets. My responsibility is to stay with your pup at your home through out my whole stay, I will be there to protect, love, and feed them while you are away. On top of that I will be your housekeeper, watching over your home and cleaning any messes your pup and I make. My schedule is pretty much free the whole time I’m with your pup, so when I’m with them they have my whole attention. I can also teach them a few tricks because I'm quite excellent at it and I do not take care of 2 different families at the same time. My focus is taking care of one family at a time throughout my stay. I'm usually free all day, so your dog and I can have relaxing or enjoyable days together. But if I ever need to run some errands, depending on what they are, your dog can accompany me in a car ride or stay in your home, where it’s safe. When I arrive at your place, I make every effort to earn your dog's trust and make them feel more at ease. Usually your dog should already recognize me from our meet and greet. But if we have met or not, the first thing I do is take your dog on a walk, just to ensure them that I’m their care taker while you are gone, that would 100% make them comfortable with me. When we return, that is when I start giving rubs, treats, and cuddles. (yes I allow your dogs to sleep on my bed, if you are okay with them on your furniture). About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I provided dedicated senior care for my chocolate Labrador, Copper, who lived to the incredible age of 18. Today, I have two pit bull mixes that join me on hiking adventures throughout the year, and I even harness-trained my kitten for outdoor adventures. I treat every pet like family and understand that each has their own unique personality, needs, and routine. Whether they're energetic or need a little extra care, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I am currently a wedding photographer in off season and have pretty good availability during the week for pet sitting. I typically work weekends but with enough notice and special occasions I'm flexible. I have one high energy dog and one older dog. So daily walks are a must. Sometimes separate and sometimes together. Our walks are typically 1 to 2 miles. I have two friendly dogs at home but I do have smaller home and a husband with allergies. “Alison is amazing. She took such great care of our baby Perseus (Percy) on his very first time with a sitter. She kept us updated the whole time and sent us pictures which we absolutely loved. She even accommodated us for pickup time which was we are beyond grateful for. We will definitely hire Alison again to care for Percy in the future.”
