About: RED ROVER, RED ROVER, let your FURBABIES come over! I am a redheaded, animal lover, that is available weekdays and weekends. I can be as active or as sedentary as the dog wants. Animals have been apart of my every day life for the past 40+ years. Our family loves animals so much, my son became a veterinarian from Texas A&M. He brought home all kinds of animals. I am a true nurturer and love all types of dogs and will be with them every moment. I am a trusted sitter by my family and friends and would like to expand my services to others. Your pup will be in amazing hands. I am a retired teacher, so I have a very flexible schedule. If your pet needs constant care or frequent walks and potty breaks, I am your sitter! I can be as active or sedentary as necessary. I love to cuddle and go for walks. There is a doggy park in my apartment complex that offers obstacles and clean surfaces for the pup to enjoy. If the dog is more seniored, we can cuddle and hangout at home! I do not have any other pets, so it would just be me! I am in an apartment complex, but on the first floor with a patio. I can board and provide day care!

About: Hi! I’m a professional dog trainer with 6 years of hands-on animal experience. I’ve worked with dogs of different breeds, ages, and personalities, and I always focus on making each pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Animals have always been my passion, and I treat every pet like part of my own family. Whether I’m walking, training, or spending time with your dog, I bring patience, responsibility, and lots of love to every visit. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I structure my work schedule around my Rover bookings so I have dedicated time for walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship. I always make sure pets are let out, walked, and fed on a consistent schedule, and I don’t accept more bookings than I can safely handle. When I’m at work or school, I plan check‑ins before and after, and I’m available early mornings, evenings, and weekends to give your pet plenty of attention. Your pet’s needs come first, and I build my day around keeping them happy, safe, and comfortable. I have a fenced yard and your pet’s safety is my top priority. As a dog trainer with 6 years of animal experience, I’m confident handling different breeds, energy levels, and behaviors, and I always use secure leashes, harnesses, and crates when needed. In my home, your dog will be in a clean, pet‑friendly environment with plenty of space to relax and play. I also have a very friendly golden retriever who loves company and can be a great, gentle playmate for social dogs. I supervise pets at all times, introduce them slowly, and never put them in situations that feel unsafe or overwhelming. I’m reliable, communicative, and respectful of your pet’s routine, and I’ll send updates and photos so you always know how your dog or cat is doing.

About: Though I have one year of experience caring for my own puppy, I grew up surrounded by my grandparents’ pets and understand the love, patience, and consistency animals need. I treat every pet with the same care and attention I give my own—making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and truly cared for. Since I’m not working at the moment, I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets. This allows me to be flexible with scheduling, give pets my full attention, and stick closely to their routines. Whether it’s regular walks, playtime, feeding, or just extra cuddles, I can make pet care a natural part of my day. At my home, pets have plenty of safe space to play in my fenced yard, and I always keep a close eye on them around the pool to make sure they stay safe. I also enjoy taking dogs on leash walks to the nearby dog park so they can get fresh air, exercise, and social time. Whether at my home or yours, I make sure pets feel comfortable, cared for, and part of the family.

About: I'm a very fun and courageous person who enjoys going for walks and exploring outdoors. I can make your dog love me, just give me 5 minutes and I’m your dogs new best friend. I am a wonderful listener, so just tell me what you need me to do and everything will be purrfect. Having 2+ years experience at a dog daycare center in the past, I am skilled to manage the highs and lows with all pets. My responsibility is to stay with your pup at your home through out my whole stay, I will be there to protect, love, and feed them while you are away. On top of that I will be your housekeeper, watching over your home and cleaning any messes your pup and I make. My schedule is pretty much free the whole time I’m with your pup, so when I’m with them they have my whole attention. I can also teach them a few tricks because I'm quite excellent at it and I do not take care of 2 different families at the same time. My focus is taking care of one family at a time throughout my stay. I'm usually free all day, so your dog and I can have relaxing or enjoyable days together. But if I ever need to run some errands, depending on what they are, your dog can accompany me in a car ride or stay in your home, where it’s safe. When I arrive at your place, I make every effort to earn your dog's trust and make them feel more at ease. Usually your dog should already recognize me from our meet and greet. But if we have met or not, the first thing I do is take your dog on a walk, just to ensure them that I’m their care taker while you are gone, that would 100% make them comfortable with me. When we return, that is when I start giving rubs, treats, and cuddles. (yes I allow your dogs to sleep on my bed, if you are okay with them on your furniture). I hope I am the perfect match for you and your pup, thanks for reading about me.

Today I’m the proud dog mom of a German Shepherd and a Basenji, so I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Whether your dog needs a quick potty break, a walk, playtime, fresh water, medication, or just some extra love while you’re away, I’m happy to help. I work in healthcare, where being dependable, responsible, and trustworthy is part of my everyday job. I understand how important it is to have someone you can rely on, and I’ll always care for your home and your pet with that same level of respect. You’ll also receive photo updates so you can relax knowing your furry family member is happy and well cared for. I especially enjoy active dogs and love playing fetch, going for walks, or simply giving them the attention they deserve. I look forward to meeting you and giving your pet the same love and care I’d want for my own! Hi! I’m Lindsey, a part-time dental hygienist and lifelong dog lover. On my days off, I offer dependable drop-in visits for busy pet parents. My schedule is typically available on Wednesdays and Thursdays, making me a great fit if your dog needs a midday potty break, playtime, fresh water, or a little extra love while you’re at work. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I understand how important it is to trust someone in your home, and I’ll treat both your pets and your home with the same care and respect I would my own. During every drop-in visit, I’ll make sure your pet has fresh water, potty breaks, exercise or playtime (based on their needs), and plenty of love and attention. I’ll also lock doors, follow your instructions carefully, and send photo updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.

About: Hello! I’m a 22 year old teacher, and I adore animals! I grew up with at least 3 dogs in the house at any given time- from a small bichon to a large retriever mix. I truly care about the well being of your pets and will love them just as much as you do! I love giving walks or just dropping in to play for a little. I can also bathe, and brush their coat and teeth if requested. I can take care of cats as well- though I mainly work with dogs. Although I can’t host dogs, I’d be glad to house sit/ puppy sit for you. Summertime I’m available all day if you need me! Feel free to request at any time of the day- and I’m on it.

About: I understand the importance that your pets play in your life, and I will take care of them as if they are my own. For pet owners new to Rover, the following discount code will give you $20 off your first booking: ALEXIH03812. I am an experienced pet sitter for dogs, cats, fish, birds and other critters. I also went to vet tech school and have a lot of medical knowledge. I would love to care for your pets while you are out of town or walk your dogs while you are at work. I enjoy playtime with pets of all ages, from puppies and kittens to seniors. I am able to take care of animals with special needs, including giving shots. I stick to schedules, follow instructions, and give lots of TLC to your furry family. Personally, I have 1 dog and 3 cats. All of my pets have been rescues. Besides my own, I have rescued, fostered and found homes for many cats and dogs over the years. When I am available for pet sitting, I have the time to devote to your animals. I make sure your pets get the care I have promised. When animals are in my care, I take every precaution to ensure they are safe. If I am walking a dog, I don’t let them interact with other dogs we may encounter. If it is a very hot day, I go early and/or wait until evening for a walk or exercise. I keep owners informed of everything going on, and I am equipped to deal with any emergencies.

  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
