About: Our family has cared for our beloved fur baby for 16 and a half years. Since her passing, we have dedicated our love and service of other's pets to her. 💖 I am a stay at home mom and Madilyn is my 21 year old dog LOVER who has experience as a pet host at dog resort. We are ready to SPOIL some fur babies!!! We are home most days. Unless we are traveling ourselves, we are able to accommodate most schedule in regards to pet care. We will do our best to keep our calendar up to date to reflect our availability. With vacation season fast approaching, keep me in mind for your time away from your fur babies. I am available and ready for long-term or Short-Term care. I make every effort to make each fur baby is well cared for while you are away. My goal is reducing stress and giving them extra love and attention.

About: Though I have one year of experience caring for my own puppy, I grew up surrounded by my grandparents’ pets and understand the love, patience, and consistency animals need. I treat every pet with the same care and attention I give my own—making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and truly cared for. Since I’m not working at the moment, I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets. This allows me to be flexible with scheduling, give pets my full attention, and stick closely to their routines. Whether it’s regular walks, playtime, feeding, or just extra cuddles, I can make pet care a natural part of my day. At my home, pets have plenty of safe space to play in my fenced yard, and I always keep a close eye on them around the pool to make sure they stay safe. I also enjoy taking dogs on leash walks to the nearby dog park so they can get fresh air, exercise, and social time. Whether at my home or yours, I make sure pets feel comfortable, cared for, and part of the family.

I can also pet sit birds, snakes, frogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, bearded dragons, leopard geckos, ferrets, the list goes on! About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities. Friends, neighbors, and family members have trusted me to feed, walk, play with, and care for their pets while they’re away. I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, giving lots of attention and exercise, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable in their own environment. As a college student, I’m responsible, organized, and dependable. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether your pet loves long walks, playing outside, or simply having company, I’m committed to providing attentive and loving care. I am currently enrolled in school part-time and attend classes from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Tuesday through Thursday. Outside of those hours, I have a flexible schedule and am available throughout the rest of the week.” Or, for a pet-sitting profile: “I currently attend school part-time from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Tuesdays through Thursdays. I prioritize the safety and well-being of every pet in my care. During walks and visits, I follow your pet’s routine, provide plenty of attention and exercise, and ensure they are always secure and comfortable. I am attentive to each pet’s individual needs and will follow any special instructions regarding feeding, medications, or behavior. My goal is to provide reliable, trustworthy care and give pet owners peace of mind while they are away.

About: I have my own small business that my partner co-owns where we take care of various pet services from walking to grooming! I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I have taken care of all kinds of pets except reptiles. I have taken care of cows, cats, dogs, guinea pigs, and horses. I am currently focused on growing my pet services business, meaning that I will have more openings for bookings and plenty of time for your pets. I have more time to help keep your pet happy and healthy. My schedule is pretty flexible to be able to meet yours and your babies needs. We have a big house and yard wich means plenty of room for your baby to run around and play. At your home, your pets are familiar with everything , therefore causing less of shock and disruption to their routines. It is usually better for them since taking them away from an environment that they are comfortable with can stress your pets out which can lead to changes in eating habits etc.

About: I have loved all sorts of animals - from birds, cats, dogs and fish to more exotic animals like hedgehogs and various reptiles. I’ve owned and cared for many different types of animals, always striving to provide the very best living conditions as possible. As a dog care specialist in the past at a previous job, caring for man's best friend is basically second nature for me. . I love our four legged, friends and treat each one I encounter as my own. I continued my love for animals and I am now a Dog Groomer in Houston over 7 years now! I look forward to meeting some precious pups and kitties and hope to see yours soon! I work Tuesday through Friday as a dog groomer, but I do also leave my job at a decent time that if I need to watch your pet Friday evenings, I can. I am available usually all weekend and Mondays and can easily care for your baby full-time. I have an outdoor dog run that is fenced in and secure so the dog will be safe. While outside your pup will always be leashed up, and if your furry friend needs to be crated, I can do that as well for you.

About: 10+ years! I have 4 dogs at home, and occasionally work with my veterinarian friend as well as taking care of my friend’s 3 cats and 2 dogs for extended periods. I love spending the time, while respecting everybody’s individual differences, in figuring out what character I have the pleasure of being with— the goofy kind that wants me to jump around with them and go on walks, the type that’d like to stay on my lap with endless massages, or some that’d rather keep their personal space! I’m a recent biology graduate and have an interest in veterinary/medical sciences, and I’d love to meet new personalities to get more experience. This is my first summer since graduating, and have very open availablity as such. Pet sitting alongside a summer class is the only thing currently on my schedule. I would only be able to do client house visits for walking/care, but I am very detail oriented and serious about curating a comfortable time for your pets but also at managing any specific procedures you’d like me to follow. I’ve worked at a research lab for over 3 years and thus have a lot of experience with following instructions to the T!

About: -Note: I need flexible scheduling for bookings. We can discuss why in advance- I have cared for cats & dogs, personally and professionally, my entire life. I’m a former lead kennel technician with hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats in a professional setting. I’m comfortable handling animals of all sizes, ages, and temperaments — from high-energy puppies to senior pets with medical needs. I’m trained in medication administration, including pills, eye drops, and ear treatments for both cats and dogs. My focus is on reliable, consistent care without unnecessary fuss. I have a variable/rotating school, clinical, and work schedule, so I will need flexibility in bookings. I am not the best sitter for long term bookings with regimented, exact times needed for your pets. I don’t board pets at my house. When I’m working, I stick closely to parent instructions & my professional experience. I pay attention to details, keep things clean, and make sure the pet is as safe, comfortable, and calm as possible while you’re away. I treat all pets how I would want my own treated.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
