About: Hi! I’m Kyla, I am 21 years old and have always loved animals. I have rescued three dogs, and hosted adoption events to help our furry friends. It is important to feel comfortable with those who care for your pets, and I am committed to earning your trust. I am currently a local real estate agent who is trying to grow their business. I will be available Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8-3. I am very aware of my surroundings, and more importantly your animals. About: Pets have been a cherished part of my life for as long as I can remember. From a young age, I've always considered them true family members. The love they give to you, and being such loyal companions who deserve the same care, respect, and devotion we give to our own children. Throughout the years, I've taken full responsibility for their well-being, from feeding them on schedule, ensuring they get plenty of exercise and outdoor time, providing comfort when needed, and always prioritizing their happiness and health. I would and have gone to great lengths to ensure their safety and joy, treating them with the unconditional love they so freely give in return. I recently left my full-time job to pursue my families dream of owning and operating our own business, which we have now actually started together. With this significant life transition, I am seeking a flexible side opportunity that can generate additional income while aligning with helping those in need, all while getting to work with animals, especially dogs! When I discovered this app, it felt like the ideal combination, connecting with pet owners who require assistance with dog walking, playtime, check-ins, or basic care. It perfectly merges meaningful work, while providing companionship and support to animals. This opportunity fits perfectly with my values and allows me to make a positive difference in the lives of both pets and their owners. I am excited about the potential and eager to get started! Treating them with the care and respect they deserve, all while giving them the attention they want! I love being with them as much as they love being with us!
About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets since I was a little girl. I’m used to all breeds of dogs and own one from another country. I also own reptiles and a cat and truly appreciate taking care of them as family members. I’m currently working part-time from home/phone, so I have plenty of time to take care of pets. Most of my work is done by phone or computer, so working away from home will not be an issue. I have three dogs in my home that are very friendly with other dogs. I can visit your home, walk and play with your pet, and put them in their crates or room if you need.
“Britteny was fantastic! Great communication. Lots of photos from the walk with our dog. This was my first Rover experience and it’s been so easy and such a great service that I look forward to using Rover and connecting with Britteny again.”

“Bria was very good with my extremely nervous dogs. One of them actually let Bria pet her the first day, which has never happened before. It didn’t work out with our schedule and her work schedule, but I would happily have Bria walk my pups again.”

“She is absolutely amazing. I have already booked her for other services and recommended her to others. Sweetest individual and takes the upmost care of your pet like they’re her own!🤍 She’s also very flexible worth is amazing as my schedule sometimes changes, she’s there when I need her!!”

About: Hi!! I’m new here and would love to get to know your dogs, take them on walks and get them some exercise and interaction :) I am a stay at home mom and have 1 fur baby myself. I’ve had all types of dogs growing up as a kid. I’ve had my schnauzer mut, Wendi, since she was 2 weeks old, started off with bottle feeding her and she’s been spoiled ever since! I often keep my brothers 3 dogs, one is an Australian shepherd/golden retriever, one is a mut and the other is a mini Australian shepherd. My family has always loved dogs and the joy they bring! I’d love to get to know your animals and help your family out. I am currently a stay at home to 4 kids. 3 of my kids are in school so I will have my youngest with me in the stroller as long as other dogs are comfortable being around kids as she remains buckled in the stroller :) I have 1 dog, Wendi, and have had her since she was 2 weeks old. I bottle fed her for 2 weeks since her mom got ran over. She loves to go on walks, play fetch outside and go to the park with all of her human siblings!
About: I grew up with dogs since I was about 6 years old. Being the only child I have always grew up with pets in the home! I love walking, playing, and loving on animals. From dog to cat or cat to dog. I’ve had Yorkies to pits to German shepherds. I have also watched family and friend animals along the way. Even neighbors has trusted me to watch their pups while they are on vacations. I can also feed, bathe, and medicate the pet if needed. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine since I work remotely and have a flexible schedule. I can prioritize feeding, walks, and playtime while balancing my work responsibilities. In my home the dogs will always be monitored. I can accommodate for an older animal or a hyper animal who likes to run around. I live in a house and have a spacious back yard which is a good walk for the pups & great exercise for older pups.
About: My love for animals began early. I was placed on a horse at 1 and spent years attending horse camps. At home, my brothers and I cared for a variety of pets, from little dogs to big ones, along with cats, hamsters, chinchillas, gerbils, and our favorite service dog for medical needs. My mother taught us how to care intentionally for each pet’s routine and medical needs to the best of our ability. Her compassion even inspired me to consider becoming a veterinarian. After leaving home, though, I mainly helped friends and acquaintances with their pet care needs through drop-in visits and overnight stays as needed. Now, as a full-time mom, I want to pass on both love and a sense of responsibility for animals to my children by providing your pets with attentive, compassionate care during their stay with us. We have a dedicated space for your dog to stay comfortably with us, and my oldest son has determined himself to be the food placer already XD. If you only need a drop-in or simply to walk the dog during the day we got you! I look forward to giving you peace of mind while you are away, knowing your pet is in good hands. My current full-time role is caring for my 2 children at home while growing another little one inside. We have a fairly consistent but flexible daily routine. We are mostly homebound which will allow me to provide all the hours needed to care for your doggy while he/she is with us. We have a dedicated space for dogs that includes pet barriers to allow them to eat and sleep well (separately for dogs from diff pet parents). The kids’ play area is in a separate room to prevent overstimulation. We have a grassy area right outside our unit for convenient potty breaks with plenty of baggies in stock. Our community has a "Bark Park" to let the bigger energetic doggy run free. For hygiene needs, we can do simple dog baths, brushings, wipe downs.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Whaley Corner. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
