“We were absolutely delighted with the care Jillian gave our dogs when we were traveling for five days. She sent us many pictures of our girls, fed them on time, and gave them medicine when appropriate. She spent time giving them lots of pets and scratches. We will definitely have Jillian as our sitter again.”

Pet care is a way of life for my family. As a stay-at-home mom with five kids in school during the day, I have the time and flexibility to give your pets plenty of loving, attentive care. “Tracy was great! I have a very old cat that can’t travel with us any longer that needs meds and thyroid shots. Tracy was on time and very attentive to our cat. It was a great feeling to know our cat was being taken care of when we were out of town. We will definitely be booking Tracy again! Thanks for being so wonderful with our baby!”

About: I am a former vet tech for West Alabama and Sugar Creek animal clinics. I assisted in surgery, pet dentals, cat neutering, vaccines, clipped nails, cleaned ears, expressed anal glands, helped with restraining, done, plenty of dog, walking and bathing. I can also pet sit birds, snakes, frogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, bearded dragons, leopard geckos, ferrets, the list goes on! I am currently a real estate agent, and I have the ability to create my own schedule. I am a huge animal and nature lover. I have three kids. One is a graduate of A&M, the second is at A&M and the third is a senior in high school. I grew up in Sugar Land and know the community well. I will do in-home pet sitting for small dogs, in particular elderly dogs that need special care, medication and comfort. I adopted an elderly chihuahua who needed medication and was blind. I have no issues with that.

“Jenna was Amazing! She took such great care of my two fur babies and kept me up to date with everything the whole time I was gone. She sent multiple pictures everyday and it made me feel so much better about being away. I highly recommend Jenna!”

“Thank you for being there for Charlie this week! He instantly liked you and that says a lot! The detailed recaps are so helpful. And I love how you got to know him so quickly and care so much!”

“This is our second time using Mckalynn. This time we left for 6 days. I would not trust anyone else to watch Gunner and Sparrow other than Mckalynn. Her attention to deal and communication is unlike any other. She truly cares and loves our babies like her own. She will do anything to make sure they have their full needs met. She will play and give all the cuddles. She gives our animals preference in everything she does. She will use all minutes to cuddle, play or pets. She isn't afraid to sit on the ground to allow our clingy animals in her lap. She is so graceful and does things effortlessly. If you worry about leaving your fur babies for a long trip doing Rover and choosing Mckalynn is the best way. This makes our lives so much easier knowing someone as awesome as her us taking care of our pets in the comfort of our home. We will be booking again.”

Jillian did such a great job with our pets!! This was our first time using Rover as we usually take our dog to a kennel. I was super sad and anxious leaving them at home, but getting that first update from Jillian really set me at ease. Will hire again and again.

First time having Nicole look after our two cats. This was the first time having anyone look after our newest addition Shadow. Shadow instantly warmed up to Nicole and Nicole took great care of both of our cats and kept us well updated after each of her visits. Will definitely use Nicole again in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Greatwood. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
