About: I’ve had the joy of having pets all my life. I’ve always had a passion for saving animals who were displaced or hurt. I currently have a cat and a dog who I adopted as rescued animals when they were young. I have experience with all sizes and ages of animals. I have lots of energy and enjoy walking dogs, taking them to dog parks, and giving them all my attention. The love I have received from animals makes my heart soar and feel it’s a gift that I’ve been entrusted with receiving. I’d appreciate the opportunity to be in your dogs life as their caregiver when you are unable to be there. I’m currently working part-time with a flexible schedule so I have plenty of availability to take care of your furry family member(s). I’m available usually any day of the week for drop-ins and walks. I walk my dog every day in my neighborhood plus we have a backyard where we go to play to get some energy out. I have many toys and treats for both my animals to keep them stimulated. We like fetch - both the dog and the cat enjoy playing. My cat will catch toys in the air and bring them to me! He loves attention and playtime. I make sure there is always food and water available and treats when they do something great, or cute ;) While taking of your pet, we could do any of that but I do like to let the dog choose how much energy they can give me so I don’t over due it. I’ll need your guidance on what your dog likes best and how I can give them the best care to meet their needs.

About: Hi All, I have been a high school teacher/coach for 33 years and am finally retired. I am excited to have time to love on all the Pets I can! I have had a variety of pets my entire life. I have been a proud Mama to all sizes of dogs from an apple head chihuahua to a 120-pound boxer. I have also had several cats, hamsters, ferrets, birds and fish. I currently have 2 senior dogs: a beautiful black pug (Lucy) and a chihuahua (Zeus). I certainly love all ages of dogs, but I do love the seniors and understand the love and care they need. I am new to Rover but excited about the opportunity to care for everyone's babies. I am still working at school until the end of May so currently available after 3 and on weekends. (unless I am skipping!!!). I will have tons of availability after June 1st. I have 2 small (pug and chihuahua) dogs which are dog friendly. In your home I will follow your directions and instructions along with of course snuggles and love.

Today, I have two pit bull mixes that join me on hiking adventures throughout the year, and I even harness-trained my kitten for outdoor adventures. Whether they're energetic or need a little extra care, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I am currently a wedding photographer in off season and have pretty good availability during the week for pet sitting. I typically work weekends but with enough notice and special occasions I'm flexible. I have one high energy dog and one older dog. So daily walks are a must. Sometimes separate and sometimes together. Our walks are typically 1 to 2 miles. I have two friendly dogs at home but I do have smaller home and a husband with allergies. So in my own home would probably be a case by case basis. As for other people's home's I'm flexible and respectful of house rules.
