About: Hi All, I have been a high school teacher/coach for 33 years and am finally looking forward to retirement. I am excited to have time to love on all the Pets I can! I have had a variety of pets my entire life. I have been a proud Mama to all sizes of dogs from an apple head chihuahua to a 120-pound boxer. I have also had several cats, hamsters, ferrets, birds and fish. I currently have 2 senior dogs: a beautiful black pug (Lucy) and a chihuahua (Zeus). I certainly love all ages of dogs, but I do love the seniors and understand the love and care they need. I am new to Rover but excited about the opportunity to care for everyone's babies. I am still working at school until the end of May so currently available after 3 and on weekends. (unless I am skipping!!!). I will have tons of availability after June 1st. About: My love for animals has given me experience in pet sitting with cats and dogs. I had two childhood dogs that taught me everything I know about pet care. Before my neighbor moved away, I would drop by her house after school to check on her cat while she was at work. About: My love for animals began early. I was placed on a horse at 1 and spent years attending horse camps. At home, my brothers and I cared for a variety of pets, from little dogs to big ones, along with cats, hamsters, chinchillas, gerbils, and our favorite service dog for medical needs. The kids’ play area is in a separate room to prevent overstimulation. We have a grassy area right outside our unit for convenient potty breaks with plenty of baggies in stock. Our community has a "Bark Park" to let the bigger energetic doggy run free. For hygiene needs, we can do simple dog baths, brushings, wipe downs.
