Hi, I’m Starla! I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life—from large livestock like horses and cows to smaller companions like lizards, dogs, and cats. Animals have always been at the center of my world. I currently work professionally with exotics, where I oversee all daily animal care operations and provide hands on veterinary support, including oral medication administration, weight checks, wound care, and more. I’m trained, experienced, and confident in caring for pets with a variety of needs. I share my home with three wonderful pets of my own: a dog, a cat, and a leopard gecko. Before my current role, I worked in a doggy daycare for three years while in college, so I’m very comfortable with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and energy levels. I also hold a degree in Wildlife Biology and have completed three years of internships in wildlife conservation, giving me a well-rounded understanding of animal behavior, safety, and husbandry. My goal is simple: to give your pet the absolute best care while you’re away with love, patience, and professional attention to their needs. I can’t wait to meet your furry (or scaly!) family member!

Starla was reliable and thorough. She spent time giving my Peaches all the love she was craving. Her communications were comprehensive. She went above and beyond in taking care of my kitty. Starla is amazing. She loved my kitties like her own and was very reliable at dropping in to feed them. She sent lots of pictures and gave details in her daily reports of how they were doing. 10/10 recommend and we will be using her again next time we go out of town!
Starla is amazing! She’s great with our animals and always sends great pictures and updates. Our pets love her and even though it’s been months since they last saw her, they immediately remembered her and couldn’t wait to hang out with her again which goes to show you how caring and loving she is. I don’t think I could trust anyone else to watch over my animals like I would Starla, 100/10 would recommend and book again!
Starla was dependable and showed up on time so that when I got home my house was still in good shape. All the critters seem to like her.

Schedule
I currently work full time Monday through Friday but can work from home at times to give more TLC to your fur babies! I am happy to stop in at anytime.
