Hi, I’m Starla! I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life—from large livestock like horses and cows to smaller companions like lizards, dogs, and cats. Animals have always been at the center of my world. I currently work professionally with exotics, where I oversee all daily animal care operations and provide hands on veterinary support, including oral medication administration, weight checks, wound care, and more. I’m trained, experienced, and confident in caring for pets with a variety of needs. I share my home with three wonderful pets of my own: a dog, a cat, and a leopard gecko. Before my current role, I worked in a doggy daycare for three years while in college, so I’m very comfortable with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and energy levels. I also hold a degree in Wildlife Biology and have completed three years of internships in wildlife conservation, giving me a well-rounded understanding of animal behavior, safety, and husbandry. My goal is simple: to give your pet the absolute best care while you’re away with love, patience, and professional attention to their needs. I can’t wait to meet your furry (or scaly!) family member!
