About: I’ve cared for dogs and other pets for over 25 years and especially love caring for senior dogs who need extra patience, comfort, and attention. I have experience with dogs, cats, birds, fish, tortoises, guinea pigs, and other small pets, and I treat every animal with dependable, loving care while you’re away. Pet care is a way of life for my family. As a stay-at-home mom with five kids in school during the day, I have the time and flexibility to give your pets plenty of loving, attentive care. I provide dependable in-home pet care including drop-in visits, dog walks, feeding and food preparation, medication administration, playtime, companionship, and lots of loving attention to keep your pets comfortable in their own home.
“Kelly is just amazing!!!! I can’t say enough about how kind, thorough, and attentive she is. She took amazing care of my kitty. Kelly was in constant communication with me and went above and beyond. She sent the most professional, beautiful photos and videos of our sweet boy. He was so relaxed around her, kneading and purring when she would pet, brush, and play with him. If you are thinking about hiring Kelly, no need to look elsewhere. She will do an amazing job!! I am recommending her to all of my friends!”

“We were absolutely delighted with the care Jillian gave our dogs when we were traveling for five days. She sent us many pictures of our girls, fed them on time, and gave them medicine when appropriate. She spent time giving them lots of pets and scratches. We will definitely have Jillian as our sitter again.”

“Starla took amazing care of my cats while I was away. She kept me updated, paid close attention to their behavior and well-being, and was very caring and attentive. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. I truly appreciated all the updates and care she provided. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

About: Your pet deserves someone who understands that every dog has unique needs. I have extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, including newborn puppies and dogs requiring extra attention, patience, and specialized routines. My experience with puppy care has taught me the importance of gentle handling, feeding schedules, cleanliness, monitoring behavior, early socialization, and recognizing small changes that may need attention. I bring that same level of care, patience, and dedication to every pet I look after. Whether your dog is playful, shy, elderly, or needs a little extra TLC, I’ll treat them like family and provide the loving, attentive care they deserve. I understand the importance of consistency and keeping pets comfortable in their normal routines, and I’m happy to provide dependable care while giving owners peace of mind. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their environment familiar by following their usual feeding schedule, exercise routine, and care instructions. I provide attentive, loving care while respecting each pet’s personality, whether they need extra playtime, a calm presence, or a little more patience and reassurance. I also make sure owners receive updates and photos so they can feel confident their pets are safe and cared for while they’re away.
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I provided dedicated senior care for my chocolate Labrador, Copper, who lived to the incredible age of 18. Today, I have two pit bull mixes that join me on hiking adventures throughout the year, and I even harness-trained my kitten for outdoor adventures. I treat every pet like family and understand that each has their own unique personality, needs, and routine. Whether they're energetic or need a little extra care, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I am currently a wedding photographer in off season and have pretty good availability during the week for pet sitting. I typically work weekends but with enough notice and special occasions I'm flexible. I have one high energy dog and one older dog. So daily walks are a must. Sometimes separate and sometimes together. Our walks are typically 1 to 2 miles. I have two friendly dogs at home but I do have smaller home and a husband with allergies. So in my own home would probably be a case by case basis. As for other people's home's I'm flexible and respectful of house rules.
“Dameng was incredible! From start to finish. He was thorough in reading Georgie’s past history, kind upon meeting him, asked the right questions, and offered to help around the home. He was also great in sending pics and refilling our little kitten’s bowel. Definitely will recommend and use his warm friendly services again!”

“Astro Otis and Teddy love Elmer! Elmer is a regular and they love playing with him. He’s a natural with dogs and does well with the mom and son duo. We are happy that Elmer is part of the fam !”

“Jenna is great! She cares about your animals and will follow any instructions you leave and is sure to check in with you. Also she takes great pictures of your pet for you. Will be rebooking!”
“This was my first time using Rover and leaving our two kiddos at home. Both our dog and cat are high stress in the car so I wanted to find a way to allow them to stay home when we are away. I think Mckalynn is the best person to use this app. She sent us a detailed card each time she saw our kiddos. She also included pictures of each fur baby. We will be using Rover and Mckalynn again the next time we are out of town! This was just a simple and easy experience. She gave us so much piece in mind and kept things tidy for us. If you are really nervous about using a sitter and Rover don't be… Mckalynn will love your kiddos like her own. She is absolutely heaven sent!!!!”

As of July 2026, there are 2,327 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Booth. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Booth. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
