“Janna did an outstanding service caring for our dog. She communicated with us throughout our vacation. She also provided a variety of pictures to show us how well our dog was doing. I would recommend her as well as use her again.”

“Rayven was amazing! The meet and greet was very thorough and helped me feel at ease with leaving. She offered to do video calls and voice notes and even suggested she be there when I leave to help my dog feel less anxious when I leave. Such a good idea! She’s a pro at her job and my dog was in great hands with her. She sent pictures during each check-in and gave updates on how he was doing while I was gone. I’ll absolutely book with Rayven again and I highly recommend her!”

“The absolute best!! I’ve been using Gerano for months now. He’s checked in on my dogs several times that ive been out of town. My dogs love him. He is very communicative. He does a fantastic job. Always on time and extremely reliable.”

“Katie and Robert are just amazing. They treated our pet and home like theirs and they even went above and beyond during Hurricane Beryl to make sure our Pepper is taken care of and stocked with her food while we were out of the country and the hurricane is about to hit. They even came right after the storm to make sure she was ok and even checked on the house. We can’t thank them enough for the love they showed to our little cat and care to our house for three weeks. We will definitely hire them again, and fully recommend them!! Much appreciate! Thank you Katie and Robert you were a blessing to us.”
“Jennifer was absolutely amazing. She lifted the anxiety of leaving my cat home alone while on our trip. Her attentive care, knowledge and experience with a variety of pets, and love for animals translated into the best sitter. I feel very lucky to find someone I can trust— highly recommend!”

“Kaitlyn did a very good job with my dogs. She arrived on time and showed a lot of attention to BoJo who is an attention hog. She was also able to handle Mable who is very energetic with ease. I highly recommend Kailyn to take very good care of your pets and will be using her again in the future.”

About: I have 4 years of experience working with pets! I have worked at boarding facilities before but most of my experience has come from working as a veterinary assistant in various clinics. Although I am a student I have ample opportunity to care for your pets! I am typically available any day of the week since my classes are mostly in the morning! I like to provide pets with enrichment and fun activities to help them be less bored when you’re gone! I also understand the importance of reliable pet care and strive to make every visit with your pet a positive experience!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs around my neighborhood with all sorts of different needs for the last three years! About: I have pet sat for multiple families over the years! This has included dogs, cats, as well as fish. I have experience giving dogs medicine in case that is a concern. I have three dogs currently all of which have pretty different personalities so I’m experienced with all different kinds of dogs. I also had a cat in the past who I loved spending time with. Lastly I love being around animals so I have no problem going over for a while to play with your animals! I am currently enrolled at Blinn, and I have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon to 4. So schedule wise I am pretty much always available to check in on your pets or go for a walk! Regarding visits going to your home I am available to go anywhere between these hours: mornings visits (6 am-9 am) , afternoon visits (11 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 11 am-2 pm any other day of the week), dinner visits (5 pm-7 pm), and night visits (9 pm-10 pm) I won’t offer services out of my home because my current living place doesn’t allow pets, but in the case that I go to your home to pet sit I will spend about 30 minutes to an hour with your animals! I will let them out, play with them, or even just chill with them at the house!

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Trammels
Armani was absolutely wonderful. We hired her to provide extra care to our two cats after one of them returned home from an inpatient ER stay shortly before we went out of town. She was extremely diligent and exceeded expectations in both caring for our cats but also ensuring all was well with our home. She was highly professional and communicative, and we felt very reassured having her provide care while we were away. I highly recommend her and look forward to having her care for our cats again in the future.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Trammels. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
