“Melissa is amazing with our little Grace. She is very positive and patient with our little girl. She takes Grace on true and enjoyable walks. Highly recommend Melissa.”

“My cat really needs human attention but she's also pretty good at telling when a person isn't interested and gives up. If a person is pro-cat, she will lick and be adorable wanting to be held and petted...until she doesn't. She also likes some people more than others for reasons only cats know. My cat immediately loved Helen during the meet and greet. I could tell Helen can read how to handle her without crossing her "boundaries", and enjoys doing so. She followed drop-in instructions well and sent lots of cute pictures.”

“Pro service - crafted experience and love of cats & dogs really shows in how each visit was handled. Attention to extra details, great daily communications, and knowledgeable about security protocols.”

“They’ve cared for our littles twice now and are absolutely amazing! Extremely fast responses and always check in before/after visits. I know our cats truly adore them and love on them each time. Wouldn’t trust anyone else!”

About: With years of animal care experience, helping deliver my dog’s litters, and assisting neighbors, family, and friends, I provide dedicated, loving, and knowledgeable pet care. I’m a freshman in college, with classes between 8 AM–3 PM. I’m available Monday–Friday afternoons and fully free on weekends; this may or may not change. I care for pets in your home, keeping them safe, loved, and comfortable. I follow routines, ensure secure environments, and give constant attention with trust.
About: I have pet sat for multiple families over the years! This has included dogs, cats, as well as fish. I have experience giving dogs medicine in case that is a concern. I have three dogs currently all of which have pretty different personalities so I’m experienced with all different kinds of dogs. I also had a cat in the past who I loved spending time with. Lastly I love being around animals so I have no problem going over for a while to play with your animals! I am currently enrolled at Blinn, and I have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon to 4. So schedule wise I am pretty much always available to check in on your pets or go for a walk! Regarding visits going to your home I am available to go anywhere between these hours: mornings visits (6 am-9 am) , afternoon visits (11 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 11 am-2 pm any other day of the week), dinner visits (5 pm-7 pm), and night visits (9 pm-10 pm) I won’t offer services out of my home because my current living place doesn’t allow pets, but in the case that I go to your home to pet sit I will spend about 30 minutes to an hour with your animals! I will let them out, play with them, or even just chill with them at the house!
About: I have always had a love for animals. I have been caring for animals for the past 20 years. I believe they are members of the family and treat them as such I have a flexible schedule and am available for boarding on the weekends as well the week. We also have to teens who love to engage with your pets! I have a fenced in back yard and a friendly toy poodle to keep your furbaby company. We also have a wonderful dog park to get in more playtime. We have crates to be able to crate your pup if needed.

“Amazing as always! This is the second time having her watch my two babies while we were out for the weekend enjoying our 5 year Anniversary. Tonda responds quickly and lets me know everyday that Nishka and Cloud are doing ok and what they did together, leaving me not to worry about a thing! She is my go to sitter every time we need one and I’d recommend her to anyone who’s looking for one as well! Thank you so much Tonda!!”
About: My family and I love dogs very much! We have two dogs of our own. One is a puppy and is still very playful. The other is older and not as playful and mostly ignores other dogs.. I live in a house with a huge backyard about the size of a football field so your dog or dogs will have lots of room to run and play. Someone is home all day every day so your dog will be provided with consistent care and affection no matter what. We don't keep them in a kennel but allow them to hang out and play with our dogs at all times. If your dog stays with us, they will get a lot of attention, be loved and well cared for. I really hope that you consider me and trust me and my family with your dog because I would never want your dog to be scared or lonely when they stay with us. Only happy, loved and played with.
“Janell has dropped in to take care of my puppy twice and she is awesome! She always arrives on time, follows instructions, writes notes to me about the visit, and takes pictures of my puppy to let me know he is okay. I really appreciate Janell’s thoroughness. Thank you Janell!”
“Jordan Did an amazing job! One of my dogs is very apprehensive of strangers but Jordan got her to trust him and was patient with her. He followed all provided instructions well! I definitely recommend him and will be using his services again!”

“Claire was absolutely wonderful watching our older Great Dane while we were out of town. She was very respectful of us, our dog, and our home, and she took such thoughtful, loving care of our dog, really paying attention to how she was feeling each visit and what she needed that particular time. Will absolutely rebook!”

“Rayven was amazing! The meet and greet was very thorough and helped me feel at ease with leaving. She offered to do video calls and voice notes and even suggested she be there when I leave to help my dog feel less anxious when I leave. Such a good idea! She’s a pro at her job and my dog was in great hands with her. She sent pictures during each check-in and gave updates on how he was doing while I was gone. I’ll absolutely book with Rayven again and I highly recommend her!”

“Kristyna is great! She was very prompt in responding and scheduling an initial meet-and-greet, and reliable for regular in-home visits to care for our cat during an extended trip. She provided great updates for each visit. Highly recommended!”

I am a fellow sitter that needed a sitter for my cat. Jediah is friendly and responsible. She was attentive during our video-chat meet-and-greet and communicated throughout the process. Our cat was happy when we got home which shows me that she provided amazing care. I definitely recommend Jediah.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Sienna Plantation. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
