About: I’m a natural animal lover with nearly 20 years of experience caring for animals. I got my first dog in 3rd grade after working hard to earn all A’s, and ever since then, animals have been a huge part of my life. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, and fish, giving me experience with different personalities, routines, and needs. I’ve owned three cats over the years, lived in homes with multiple cats, and currently have a cat of my own. I’ve also cared for dogs of different sizes and temperaments and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and making pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. Whether your pet loves to play, cuddle, go on walks, or simply relax, I’ll give them the same love, attention, and care I would give my own pets. As a teacher, I have a structured daily routine during the school year and more flexibility during summers, which allows me to be consistent and reliable with pet care year-round. During the school year, I am available for morning, evening, and weekend care, and I make sure pets are fed, walked, played with, and checked on before and after work so they stay on their normal routine. In the summer and school breaks, I have full availability, which allows me to provide more frequent visits, longer stays, and extra playtime and attention. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping them comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, litter box care, medication if needed, and any special routines. I also make sure pets get plenty of attention, affection, and enrichment through play and interaction, while keeping their space clean and safe. My goal is to make sure each pet feels secure, cared for, and as stress-free as possible while their owner is away.

This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
