About: My entire life, my home has been described as the neighborhood’s “local zoo.” From livestock to pocket pets, I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals over the years. I’ve volunteered working hands-on with animals at the zoo, and currently care for two dogs, one cat, some small animals, and fish I’ve been pet sitting for over five years and have experience with many dog breeds, ages, and personalities. I focus on building trust, supporting positive behavior, and helping animals feel safe and comfortable in my care. I believe pets deserve to enjoy being animals—without unnecessary stress—while still feeling understood and respected by the humans around them. I’m currently a full time commuting student. My school hours will begin at 8am and end at 4:30pm most days. I will be available to feed and walk your pet before and after these timings. Weekends I am free with notice. Pets are allowed supervised free roam of my home. During the day, they will likely be confined to one room or a crate if needed while I’m at school. Pets will have unlimited access to water, other dogs to interact with, plenty of toys, etc.
“Sabrina was fabulous! We could tell from her pictures that Tripper was very happy and comfortable with her, and she also fed our outdoor birds and watered plants. She’s the best!”

“Crystal did an amazing job. My cat was so happy and never felt alone. She was well-fed and taken care of beautifully. I even received a couple of photos, which I really appreciated. Crystal also kept me updated, letting me know when she was on her way and when she arrived. When took care my girl. Thank you so much Crystal. You did amazing. Can’t wait work with you again.”

About: I've taken care of both cats and dogs since I was about 10 years old. Growing up, we frequently had both cats and dogs in the house. I also volunteered at an animal shelter for about 2 years before working there for 1 year. I have pet sat for a family every summer for the last 8 years or so and I also worked at a pet boarding place 1 summer. I'm currently working part-time so I will absolutely have time to take care of your pet! I can stay overnight and take care of a pet, and only work an average of six hours a day so I still have plenty of time to spend with a pet! I spend a lot of time hanging out with and getting to know each pet in order to meet their needs. I can play, walk, and feed pets as well as just be a calming presence if that is helpful for them.
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats as long as I can remember. I have always had a love for all animals and love to spend my spare time caring for them. I have been watching my friends and family’s pets for years and would love to meet your furry friends and care for them when life gets busy or you want to take a trip. I have taken multiple dogs and cats off the streets and cared for them until I was able to find them loving homes. I have a flexible hybrid schedule so I am able to adjust to take care of your pets as needed . I’m available for house sitting on the weekends! I love to care for all animals and give them the care they need while their parents may be busy. I always make sure to send plenty of photos and updates.
“I was so happy to have Leah stop in and take care of our pups. She met them ahead of time and made sure she understood what we needed done. We hired her at the last minute and she was very flexible. One of our dogs is super scared of everyone and she did great with Leah! I will definitely hire again without hesitation.”

“AMAZING sitter!!! We were away for an entire week and needed multiple drop ins a day and Nathalya was on it every time! She took care of our 5 dogs with ease and handled all their personality treats perfectly. She gave us all peace of mind with her daily updates and photos as well. We will definitely book with her again in the future!! Thanks for everything again✨✨”

“Ashlie was great caring for our older and very particular cat for 2 weeks. She dropped in and did everything asked of her and took great pictures and provided in depth updates about how out cat was doing. Will definitely look forward to booming with her again.”
“Very pleased with her care of our 2 small shy chihuahuas. They warmed up quickly to her and that’s not an easy task. She was communicative and pleasant throughout the booking. Will use again and definitely recommend to anyone looking for a sitter.”
“Sarah is wonderful! She did everything I asked, and my kitties love her! I'll definitely request her again, and highly recommend her. Thank you so much Sarah. ???? Toni & Gordon (and Clover & Boudreaux). ?”
“Kara did drop in visits for our senior pup while we were out of town and took great care of him. She was more than happy to administer medicine to him as well and overall did an excellent job! We have used her before and will again! She always goes above and beyond to make sure our pup is comfortable and content!”

“We’d use Hadassa in the house for boarding at her place but we recent had an overnight trip we asked her to do check ins on. The pups loved her there! She gave us wonderful detailed report cards and it’s so nice to trust her in our home. Highly recommend!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I provided dedicated senior care for my chocolate Labrador, Copper, who lived to the incredible age of 18. Today, I have two pit bull mixes that join me on hiking adventures throughout the year, and I even harness-trained my kitten for outdoor adventures. I treat every pet like family and understand that each has their own unique personality, needs, and routine. Whether they're energetic or need a little extra care, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I am currently a wedding photographer in off season and have pretty good availability during the week for pet sitting. I typically work weekends but with enough notice and special occasions I'm flexible. I have one high energy dog and one older dog. So daily walks are a must. Sometimes separate and sometimes together. Our walks are typically 1 to 2 miles. I have two friendly dogs at home but I do have smaller home and a husband with allergies. So in my own home would probably be a case by case basis. As for other people's home's I'm flexible and respectful of house rules.
“It was my first time using Rover, Darius made me feel at ease about leaving my babies. He is very professional, my dogs loved him and his experience helped in the tasks I asked for.”

YaLan was absolutely wonderful with our cats! She went above and beyond to make sure they were not only taken care of, but also given plenty of love and attention while we were away. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. You can tell she genuinely cares about the animals she watches. We really appreciate everything she did for us and would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable pet sitter. We would definitely book with YaLan again!
Hadassa took great care of our cats Momo and Brownie while we were out of town for a few weeks. This was our first time using Rover and we were a bit anxious, but were reassured after the meet and greet that we had reached out to the right person. Excellent communication and she was always on time for the drop-in visits and provided great updates with many pictures. She even shared videos on occasion without us even requesting which was very much appreciated. Would highly recommend and we will definitely use her services again in the future should the need arise.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
