Availability
While it is preferred that I can come and go with ease, due to my other life engagements, please let me know in advance if that isn't possible. Depending on the timing, I may be able to work something out. Currently, I am a college student working on my BA in English. I can study during a housesitting stay, but sadly my class schedule changes every semester and cannot be negotiated once it is set! FALL 2024 UPDATE: I am unavailable 5am-7pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays until mid-December. All other days are open for bookings!

Information Sophia P. would like to know about your pet
No breed restrictions here, but definitely alert me if they are in any way aggressive. Additionally, please do give me a basic rundown of their personality, commands, and favorite toys. I also want to know what calms your pet down if, say, there's a thunderstorm and they hate said thunderstorms. I especially would like to know any of the pet's personal fears or triggers, especially if he is a rescue of unknown origin. Please also tell me if you pet is destructive or an escape artist!
A typical day
I can only come to your pet, as I do not live somewhere that pets can stay. Sorry! But by having me care for your pet within their familiar territory, aka your home, you are reducing their stress levels exponentially AND reducing risk of your furbaby getting sick at some cheap boarding facility! Playtime includes playing with their favorite toys and, if my visits are frequent or long-term, might even bring him a new one from time to time! Good behavior will always be rewarded with a treat, if provided! Even if your pet isn't enthusiastic with toys, walks, or other enrichment, I will pet them and tell them what a good girl/boy they are. A lot, if they permit me! And yes--during overnights, I am delighted to share the bed with your furbaby if it helps ease their mind. ?

Hey, thanks for paw-ping by! 🐾 I grew up with pets my whole life and began participating in their care at the age of 10. I have cared for many cats, dogs, and even fish, birds, and reptiles! I presently own a senior leopard gecko named Hunter and 2 cats named Muffin and Morticia. I certainly don't discriminate--it would be an absolute joy to help care for your pet(s)! I may not be a dog owner right now, but I love all breeds. For example: In my 4 years of Rover, I've never met a Chihuahua who didn't like me, and I cherish every Pittie I meet! 🐾 I have experience with many ages, temperaments, and energy levels of furbabies and other critters, and I have a soft spot for senior animals as well. So, if your furry, scaly or feathery son/daughter wants an enthusiastic, adoring new friend to play with, I'm your gal! Your pets, whatever species of lovable creature they may be, will be in great hands.
