I have two large energetic golden retriever puppies and a very inconsistent schedule for work and she has been a life saver for me! Very good with communication and of course sends plenty of pictures! I would recommend her to anyone!

About: I’ve been working with animas for over ten years. I’m a dog professional and am well versed in dog behavior. I do rescue work on the side as well. I work 30 hours a week, but am able to come home for lunch daily. I go in very early and come home early so I get plenty of time caring for your pets. I have a very secure fenced in yard and super friendly pups that love company and love to play with new friends and we have cameras out doors with motion detection. I focus on animal safety.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I provided dedicated senior care for my chocolate Labrador, Copper, who lived to the incredible age of 18. Today, I have two pit bull mixes that join me on hiking adventures throughout the year, and I even harness-trained my kitten for outdoor adventures. I treat every pet like family and understand that each has their own unique personality, needs, and routine. Whether they're energetic or need a little extra care, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I am currently a wedding photographer in off season and have pretty good availability during the week for pet sitting. I typically work weekends but with enough notice and special occasions I'm flexible. I have one high energy dog and one older dog. So daily walks are a must. Sometimes separate and sometimes together. Our walks are typically 1 to 2 miles. I have two friendly dogs at home but I do have smaller home and a husband with allergies. So in my own home would probably be a case by case basis. As for other people's home's I'm flexible and respectful of house rules.

About: I'm a very fun and courageous person who enjoys going for walks and exploring outdoors. I can make your dog love me, just give me 5 minutes and I’m your dogs new best friend. I am a wonderful listener, so just tell me what you need me to do and everything will be purrfect. Having 2+ years experience at a dog daycare center in the past, I am skilled to manage the highs and lows with all pets. My responsibility is to stay with your pup at your home through out my whole stay, I will be there to protect, love, and feed them while you are away. On top of that I will be your housekeeper, watching over your home and cleaning any messes your pup and I make. My schedule is pretty much free the whole time I’m with your pup, so when I’m with them they have my whole attention. I can also teach them a few tricks because I'm quite excellent at it and I do not take care of 2 different families at the same time. My focus is taking care of one family at a time throughout my stay. I'm usually free all day, so your dog and I can have relaxing or enjoyable days together. But if I ever need to run some errands, depending on what they are, your dog can accompany me in a car ride or stay in your home, where it’s safe. When I arrive at your place, I make every effort to earn your dog's trust and make them feel more at ease. Usually your dog should already recognize me from our meet and greet. But if we have met or not, the first thing I do is take your dog on a walk, just to ensure them that I’m their care taker while you are gone, that would 100% make them comfortable with me. When we return, that is when I start giving rubs, treats, and cuddles. (yes I allow your dogs to sleep on my bed, if you are okay with them on your furniture). I hope I am the perfect match for you and your pup, thanks for reading about me.

About: What sets me apart is my extensive experience and personalized care. I’ve raised my own dog for the past 9 years, which has given me firsthand knowledge of every stage of a dog’s life, from puppyhood to senior care. Additionally, I worked in a dog kennel for three years, where I gained valuable experience caring for dogs of all breeds, temperaments, and needs. Whether it’s puppy training, senior care, or making sure anxious pets feel comfortable, I’m dedicated to providing loving, one-on-one attention tailored to your dog’s unique needs. Your pet will feel right at home with me! Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly schedule. I work part-time with the flexibility to create my own hours, allowing me to prioritize your dog’s needs and adapt to your personal schedule. When I’m not home, my husband is, so there’s always someone to care for your pet. In the rare event that neither of us is home, we take extra steps to ensure your dog’s safety. We also have indoor cameras, so I can monitor the pets even when I’m away, ensuring they are always looked after. When your pet is in my care, I prioritize their comfort, safety, and well-being. You can expect daily walks, typically two to three times, which include ample potty breaks and plenty of time for sniffing and exploring. I understand that each dog has their own pace and preferences, so I tailor walks and activities to their specific needs. At home, I have my own friendly dog who gets along great with dogs of all ages and temperaments. Your pet will enjoy a safe, welcoming environment with plenty of space to relax and play. We have a patio where I can leave the door open, offering your dog even more chances to enjoy the outdoors whenever they wish. Additionally, our complex features a dog park, providing a secure area for your pet to run and play off-leash under close supervision. You can expect regular updates on your dog’s well-being, and I make sure to keep their routine as consistent as possible, offering a home away from home where they feel loved and cared for.

  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
