Pet care experience

Loving, patient care & purfect yard

*Important note: Our sweet cat Cosi 🐈‍⬛️ shares our home and is part of the family, so it’s important that your pet feels comfortable around cats. I’ve always had a deep love for animals, inspired by my grandmother who raised dogs, cows, ducks, and chickens with immense respect back in Venezuela. At 13, I joined a non-profit organization (R.A.C.) where I helped stray dogs and cats get neutered, reduce their anxiety, and find loving homes. Since then, I’ve cared for animals of all kinds, from Yorkies to Great Danes, from Persian kittens to 17-year-old senior cats. I’ve also cared for pets with behavioral challenges, including an anxious rescue Collie mix who only trusted her human mom and me, and an energetic Labrador with ADHD who needed lots of patience and understanding. I loved being able to earn their trust and see them enjoy their walks and time outside. I truly enjoy learning from every pet I meet, observing their behaviors, and adapting to their unique personalities. I’m passionate about animals and animal behavior, and I’m committed to providing care that makes them feel safe, happy, and loved. If you’re looking for a reliable, experienced, and caring sitter or walker who will treat your pets like family, I’m here for you! 🥰

Hadassa took great care of our cats Momo and Brownie while we were out of town for a few weeks. This was our first time using Rover and we were a bit anxious, but were reassured after the meet and greet that we had reached out to the right person. Excellent communication and she was always on time for the drop-in visits and provided great updates with many pictures. She even shared videos on occasion without us even requesting which was very much appreciated. Would highly recommend and we will definitely use her services again in the future should the need arise.

Schedule

My routine is pretty flexible since I only work part-time (4 hours in the morning) at the office. I’m available for walks, visits, and attentive care for the rest of the day. I love including pet care in my daily life as a way to disconnect from all the outside noise. For me, it’s truly meaningful to care for another life that brings so much joy to the people around them. I also love be the person who can give the owners peace of mind when they’re not at home.

Safety, trust & environment

I provide a calm and peaceful environment at home with very few or no visitors, so pets can feel safe and relaxed. I also limit the number of dogs I host at my home to a maximum of 1 or 2 at a time, so every guest gets plenty of personalized attention and can relax peacefully. We also have a spacious, fully fenced backyard where dogs can play and run safely under supervision. At night, pets are welcome to sleep in our bedroom, usually at the foot of the bed or on their own bed, but they are not allowed on our bed. I leave the door slightly open so they can go to the living room if they prefer. It’s helpful to know in advance if they are used to this kind of arrangement so I can ensure they feel safe and comfortable. When I do drop-in visits, I love to take my time with doggies and kitties as a disconnection and relaxation time for myself as well. I'm fully attentive and affectionate with them. I'll do the chores we previously agreed on (related to dogs or cats care), and and if your kittie or pup have special needs or specific concerns, I'll be happy to help them patiently. Coming soon: I’ll be learning professional pet grooming, but for now I’m happy to offer basic bathing services as part of my care package.

Pets

A typical day

A typical day for me starts with waking up and checking on them with lots of pets. I’ll let them go to the backyard to relieve themselves and get their breakfast ready. Then, we’ll go for a walk or to the backyard (depending on your preferences) before I leave for work. When I come back (around 1 p.m.), I’ll take them out again and play outside! We can play fetch, run around the backyard, and spending quality time talking and interacting. I also truly enjoy having “deep conversations” with them, hehe. In the evenings, we would have dinner and then go out for walks together with my partner. We enjoy walking around the pool and the community, it's very peaceful. Every activity is adapted to each pet’s personality and energy level to ensure they’re happy, comfortable, and engaged throughout the day.

I would like to know in advance if your pet requires any special medication, has food allergies, follows a specific diet, or has particular water preferences. It’s also helpful to know if they are scared of or obsessed with certain objects so I can adjust the environment or remove potential triggers during their stay or visit.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
